- In a meeting held at the Hawaii state capital, the people of Hawaii voiced their concerns about the developments planned for maui, more specifically lahaina town that recently burned down in a deadly wildfire. This video is opinioned based and shared for the purpose of giving a voice for the people of hawaii. This video is not intended to discredit hawaii officials or defame any specific person. Please understand that all information is accessible to the public, and all opinions are based on available information at the time this video is published. Disgusting how these local officials treat their own people who are the victims of a heinous crime committed on a grand scale. Shame on them!
There really needs to be way more than mere shame rained down on these demons.

But, I like many others - have TikTok recorded footage of the more massive blue laser from the [sky], and the military jet taking off at the same moment with multiple laser emissions as it flew. We realized the ‘Federal Government’ had just committed mass murder on its own people. Water was shut off, and no sirens, no fire trucks, communications were shut down, blocked in to die in the fire. No supplies were given - unless it was through FEMA, irregardless that food and supplies had arrived from all over the world/quarantined. And many people abroad - cannot return home to Lahaina - because they cannot prove it’s their own home

Is someone investigating why there was no water for Lahaina but there apparently was water to protect Oprah's property? Is someone investigating why the police blocked residents from getting out? We are all watching citizen journalists find the truth. We are standing with you.
Oprah's property was an hour away in Kula where they still had electricity to run the water pumps.

@@gruvin4602 There's a big difference between kids being absent from school and kids being missing. There are only 385 missing people, including kids. So the other 1,615 kids are either unalive, with their families among the 6,000 survivors staying in temporary housing around the island, or among the tens of thousands of people who left Maui immediately after the fire to stay with friends and family. I've heard locals say there are 1,000 to 1,500 bodies at the morgues. But we'll have to wait for the final count. The Lahaina schools only know how many kids are absent, they have no idea if they're alive or not.

@@photina78 There were fires in Kula near Oprahs house that day as well. The fires didn't touch any of Oprah's hundreds of acres. This isn't the first time that there were fires in Kula and Oprah's property wasn't touched.
Back in the early 90s, late 80s - my great-grandparents house had been declared a historical site. It was also right in the way of the new freeway plans, and one night it just went "poof" in a blaze of glory. Arson, and no one gave a snot and they built their freeway. Same thing is happening here, but on such a bigger scale that it gives me chills for these people to be fighting for their land, and not have the fighting chance against the big people. Much loves to all the Hawaiian's affected by this. This is a terrible thing.

We went through something similar in 2011. A very suspicious fire, where the firemen did nothing but follow behind it. A fire inspector and a fire chief from outside agencies who assisted were both murdered less than 12 months later. Some of the firemen were later convicted of looting and vandalism in unrelated events, yet were still in the department after their conviction. I recommend you document everything going on there in real time; as it happens, and consider un-incorporating your neighborhoods from the municipality.

They have been told investors will come in and try to take advantage of them.... and because people were selling practically the next day the governor went on TV and warned the locals to NOT SELL AND REASSURED their homes will be rebuilt ...

Also, make sure the Governor is not looking out for his and their administrations best interest, to keep the land so that they can build some kind of smart city. The plans look so stark and modern, with each strip of land marked out for specific progressive activities. It sounds strange. Keep speaking up and making your voices heard to bring Lahaina back to its former natural state, the way God meant it to be. A lovely, comforting, beautiful location for the people of Lahaina to live again.
I also agree that an increase in housing, especially crammed apartment or condo spaces WILL increase the population in an area that is not big enough for that. It will create overcrowding. I know, it happened here in the coastal areas of Florida. We are experiencing this now again too, here in Florida, they keep building and building because everyone wants to come here, but the cities don’t think of the roads and small bridges that connect the barrier islands on the beachside to the mainland. If we had emergency evacuations, our roads couldn’t handle it right now the way it is. The cities are not keeping up with expansion with building and increased population. Traffic has already increased and they have only STARTED with already having built thousands of apartments in this small area. Their are many more plans to come. The towns are fighting back and they win some , but they lose some. And what about utilities, enough water and electric , and more bridges to handle the population. It is just the beginning. Also you find shortages or longer wait times for things. When I first moved here in the 90’s it was a quiet small town, very friendly, no traffic. Now they are bulldozing down the old Florida houses to build mansion estates and two story houses, which were against building codes before. Costs for housing have doubled to tripled in some places. People can’t afford the rents. Multiple families are living in one house. Young people cannot afford to buy a house. It is still a nice place to live but I am worried about what it will be like in a few years. I know it is nothing compared to what you have gone through, but just trying to give you insight as to what can happen when governing people take over. I pray for the best for all of you , especially for those that have lost their family members, homes and jobs. I hope that you will find peace in your homeland again, the way it is supposed to be. The people of Maui and HI are amazing. The substance and authority in grace of the men and women is striking. It’s no wonder they were attacked like this, in this way because they won’t be bought.
This was their ‘test run’ after a lot of extensive, deliberate planning. They executed their goal and have set a precedent for other locations they have their sights set on. It’s utterly disgraceful what some people are willing to do to others. I do believe they’ve underestimated the effectiveness of the internet in spreading information (or overestimated the degree of control of information they have on the internet) and the intelligence of everyday people. Everyone sees this for what it is and it needs to be rejected so it doesn’t happen again elsewhere.
It is infuriating to be told to stick to the meeting's agenda. It is disrespectful to attempt to control the voices of the people. Officials who believe they are the authority & can therefore dictate the terms of public meetings about who, what, when, where, for how long, etc. thoroughly disgust me. They want respect? How about they respect the people by listening to their voices without curtailing, without prematurely cutting them off dismissively, without being so damn condescending?

With such intense fire, why were the trees not burnt to ashes? Have you ever tried to burn a leaf with a lighter? What happens? In all the videos and pictures you've seen of the the disaster area, where are the porcelain toilets, sinks? What temperature is a nature fire? What temperature is required to burn porcelain to ashes? Everything was in ashes? Why? But there were plastic fences standing. Why is that? What is the behavior pattern of wildfires? Why was Lahaina burnt in an almost perfect rectangle? If you can answer these questions then you just might not be so quick to say it was a natural disaster.

Yep. After the Camp Fire, there was very little low income or no income housing built. But...luxury apartments with an average of $2000 per one bedroom apt were built by the hundreds. Crazy how similar this whole thing is.
Four years later there are still hundreds of homeless from that fire.
But THEY Made Sure No Landowner could Rebuild in Camp Fire/Paradise, California.
Nor would ANY Insurer Pay Out FOR Their Paying Customer's Losses.

Funny how instead of doing what they should be doing like helping people, they are doing everything but. How are they in any way looking out for their community? I didn't see one person raise a hand. This is why I don't go to Board meetings because they are never prepared and they just wing it. And most of the Board I am going to guess didn't experience any loss. It is always the same story but they get so defensive, they can't even raise money to help these people. What kind of world are we living in? What is going on? Something is not right about how non-profits function and money can't even get to the people who need help. What is it going to take, for us to march on Washington?
This is being done here on the mainland in Scottsdale Az. Every available lot of land is taken up to build high rise, new apartment buildings....WHY? I looked at these new apartments and have found them to be unaffordable the rents are so high. Who can afford them in todays economy? We are becoming New York in that people will have to have several roommates paying over a thousand dollars each for one bedroom and common areas in just one apartment. Plus they have "smart technology" to spy on you in these new buildings. Check it out for yourself because the Citizens of Scottsdale were in an uproar from all the new construction of apartment buildings. They even say that one doesn't have to leave their area because they are building stores and shops within walking distance. In our neighboring city of Tempe, they have built a complex that doesn't allow cars!!!! Tell me how do they expect people to walk to shop, etc when its 115 degrees in the summer???? This is planned...we know it and THEY KNOW IT.

The things I’ve seen and heard from my time volunteering on maui is so heart breaking. My daughter was born in lahaina my family is buried in waiola church in Lahaina my family home which was over a hundred years old in the center of lahaina is burnt to the ground luckily my ohana got out safely and my heart is sore from seeing people I know personally who lost love ones! Why do we as Americans put up with incompetence or malicious leadership that doesn’t serve their people. When the fail to serve us their power isn’t recognized. It’s time we remind everyone who’s really in charge.
The missing kids is crazy. I don't know why this is not on the news every day.
They've been covering up for kid traffickers for many, many years now.
What makes you think the media will come out all of the sudden and speak the truth, shed light on the crimes??
FACTS THAT WE DO KNOW (these come straight from the local survivors):
1. The police barricaded every exit from the city.
2. No sirens went off.
3. The water was cut off by the city water manager to the fire fighters.
4. The body count was froze at 115.
5. The morgue is 100% full.
6. Local morticians ran out of body bags during the first week.
7. The city REFUSES to give even an estimate on how many children may be missing or killed; same with adults and families.
8. The locals estimate that the schools have 3000 kids registered, but only 3 or 400 showed up. Which leaves 2600 children unaccounted for.
9. There are 15 school buses missing and unaccounted for. There's no debris or burnt out wrecks. They're just magically GONE. Like the children the city seems so unconcerned about.
10. It took 6 days for FEMA to show up, and when they did the first thing they did was confiscate food and water that was being given out to survivors because "it was not FEMA approved." Since then, locals report getting sick from drinking the water FEMA is giving them. You can't make this stuff up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
11. There are some video testimony of locals (they appear to be medical personnel) who helped in searching for survivors. They say they're finding entire families burnt alive in cars trapped trying to escape. They also say they're finding bodies of children alone in homes. YET ... we hear NONE of this from the city officials.
12. The police chief is ALSO the medical examiner. Conflict of interest? You bet it is.
The million dollar question the media has NOT asked the mayor or police chief is this: HOW many peopled DIED as a direct result of all the city exit streets being blocked?
At this point, the ONLY WAY people are going to get justice is to SUE the city and the city officials. SUE BIG and use the money to help the locals rebuild what has been lost.

I believe it was and we need to do whatever we can to ensure the people of maui keep that land. -- wow, I didn't realize so many children were unaccounted for. If you check satellite imagery, there are a bunch of school busses just missing. NOT burned, or destroyed, but unaccounted for.
