saab 9-3 2003-2010 fuel pump upgrade FWD 2.8 v6

in this video I am working on a 2006 saab 9- 3 2.8 v6 turbo. I am demonstrating how to modify the car to allow fitment of an upgraded fuel pump. Once the pump is installed you will have to get the car mapped to cater for the change. I use AURA tuning who has the mapping done for this mod and can be found on Facebook

Great vid and I was curious how you actually unclip the fuel filter strainer with the flat screw driver. I couldn’t seem to separate mine.

It has a grip washer. So a bit of brute force and ignorance

Can the washer be rotated and more like a c/e-clip?

Hi, what part of the map needs altering for this pump? As its PWM control i thought it would just automatically run at the required pressure required by the ECU.

Turbo x is totally different. You have a saddle tank with 2 senders. So under the bum of the 2 rear seat passengers.

@uodavid hello. Yes I was running 750cc supplied by aura tuning castle combe Wiltshire. They are reasonably priced and car idles smooth.

450LHP per hour is that not to much 255LPH is good for a stock engine right?

255lph is lower than the stock pump . Stock pump is estimated around 300lph
