@gelsiegiulia It’s not ‘my child’ or ‘my baby girl’ that was murdered, it’s ’a child’. Distancing language. And ‘what was done to us by an unjust system’ is quite revealing if you ask ‘what was done to them?’ Nothing. And I think many would say that’s why the system is indeed unjust. When a parent of a murdered child believes they are more of a victim than the child…😳
If I thought my child had been abducted I wouldn’t leave my other child alone for a second!!! Kind of like how Maddie McCanns siblings were left alone after her mother discovered her “missing”!
Your right. They say agony and horrible but we don't see that. Truly bizarre. One more thing, in the history of ransom note this one stands out. I mean c'mon. A man would never pen such a thing to me. That was a letter not a note. She wrote it. Real ransoms are like " we have your kid, we want our money, or she's/he's dead. No man pens a 3 page letter they leave a note. 🧡 Justice4Jonbenet
I remember when this happened, my daughter was nearly two years old. The way the parents acted never sat right with me. They know more than they've ever let on. I'm not sire of the three killed her, but, I believe it was one of them. Then, the cover up. They wanted to mess up the crime scene, and, they did. None of what they've said or done makes a bit of sense. Who, that just found their child dead, says it was never about the child? How can they think the case was about them, when they know their child is gone? How can any parent act do calmly retelling such a traumatic experience? How did neither of them go running through the house and outside like a crazy person! At three,my daughter decided to hide in the clothes rack at Wal-Mart. She was never to me then gone. Just in the few second she (to me) was missing, I was panicking and calling her name. People looked at me like I'd lost my mind. She popped up from the clothes and I was relieved, still scared, a bit angry, but, mostly so glad she was ok. How could a truly caring, loving parent say that their dead child was less important than themselves?
My daughter died suddenly in the way home from the emergency room from strep throat and my other daughter was with us. When they rushed my precious daughter, Glow, back to the er, my other precious daughter was literally walking around the emergency room I have no idea where because I was freaking out that my others daughters heart had stopped beating! People did act kind of shocked that i wasn’t paying attention to my living daughter but I have to tell ya, it’s almost impossible to try and pay attention to anything other than the fact that your world was ripped right out from under you, I literally had no clue where my living kids were I just felt like I was dying and in hell and like my reality just turned inside out! It took my best friend scraping my off the emergency room floor telling me , “ Lauren, come on, your other daughter is sick and in a hospital bed and she needs you right now,” for me to not even snap out of it, but to pretend like I had snapped out of it just so no one would think I went absolutely crazy even though I knew that I absolutely had gone crazy because my other precious daughter had just died. I felt like a walking zombie like a shell, like a little scared girl who had no idea who I even was or what was even going on at that point. It’s not at all that I didn’t care about my other daughter because I certainly care about all three of my children equally it’s just that I couldn’t figure out what reality was and what was even going on, my brain was firing rapidly and I couldn’t think of what to do, I literally sprinted in circles around the ER screaming Glows name and looking for a sharp object so that I could end my life because the pain of Glow leaving her body was absolutely unbearable. Now that I look back on it I see that my precious daughter Glow, saved my other precious daughter Bliss’ life and so many countless others who now know that strep can attack an organ in the body and cause death in as little as 3.5 hours. I love you Glow Twilight Contella and I know I will see you again! Thank you so much for all of your signs my angel. ❤
So sorry for your loss. Thanks for putting into perspective what the state of shock can do to a person who otherwise would act logically. We are judging these people based on what we think a logical parent would do, but not understanding the effects of shock on the brain.
So it's not about JonBenet, who was tortured and brutally murdered, but it's about THE RAMSEYS. That's a horrible thing to say. More and more suspicion falls on them. Something's very very wrong in that dysfunctional family.
"You don't know if she's cold." Well, the blanket does immediately come to mind. Something to keep her warm. I've heard the stages of grief are in no particular order for everyone. I imagine denial might be the first stage of grief when someone accidentally ends the life of someone they love.
Patsy - psycho John - Pea dough Burke - another unfortunate victim who could be any mix of the two I’m of the belief that John was one of those rich sickos that would share their children with their other sicko friends. One friend took things too far with Jonbenet and it cost her life. That’s the only thing that makes sense to me, and explains the random dna found that they could never match (rich people tend to know, or think they know their ancestry, and know better than to submit their dna to a company that could literally do anything with it). It’s terrible that there are people like that in the world, but they most certainly do exist. It is a sick world we live in.
I think the biggest mistake the Ramseys made was when John staged the basement with the suitcase by the window, then implying Fleet White was responsible.
The suitcase was how they were going to transport the body out of the house, but they got cold feet because it was getting close to sunrise and they fear they would be caught. John carried her down the stairs and the suitcase came from their bedroom. That’s why you see no luggage in bedroom. So an intruder went into the bedroom and took the luggage and carried it downstairs while Jon and Patsy were sleeping?
Wow, I'm continually blown away by the points Nick makes in his evaluations. There absolutely is a tone of psychopathy in their descriptions of what's going through their minds. This case is so maddening because we'll never know the absolute truth.
Indeed he uses Crime Con as a PR exercise on his " innocence" in this case not unlike the Mc Canns. If none of these parents had to be " on guard" ~just in case~ they would have moved on and left it up to LE.
Indeed it beggars belief! He attends Crime Con to try to prove his innocence. He is " on guard" ~just in case ~ any of the attendees makes a new suggestion~not unlike the Mc Canns.still trying to control issues that arise from time to time. If they were innocent they would have grieved moved on and left it to LE.!!
both the Ramsey's and the McCann's lacked the emotional anguish you would expect if your child was missing both routinely use distancing language too and both the Ramsey's and McCann's were defensive and present themselves as the victim's... rather than the young children
@@rakesfunnyfarm people are becoming increasingly aware of tools such as statement analysis, helpful in identifying concerns Nick is a solid proponent of critical thinking
@@moriahlynI have wondered about that, as well. Something made her seem emotionally flat and a bit odd - with some real bursts of anger at being accused, wrongly she said, as well. Just my visceral feeling.
@elizabethcloutman8913 but was she wrongly accused? Covering up is not murdering your child. I think her outrage was truly felt by her. I've always said her behavior in the beginning was that of a mama bear.
Odd coincidence: 3 people involved in the "kidnapping", the ransom note author, and the 2 people who have their daughter. 3 people remain in the Ramsey home, John, Patsy, and Burke. I wonder if that was in the subliminal mind of the person who wrote the ransom note...Patsy.
What convinced me of the parents guilt was Burke using the word “Hence” it was also a word written in the ransom note. It’s an English word and the ransom note was supposed to be penned by a man or woman of a Foreign Faction.Kids use words as adults that have been commonly used during their childhood.Great job TCRS!!!! I’m convinced the parents wrote that note now. This is huge evidence to me!
Burke did it by hitting Jonbenette on the head with the flashlight. John and Patsy covered it up. Patsy wrote the ransom note complete with rough drafts. No intruder is going to sit in their kitchen and write a long note, throw it away and write another long ransom note.
I guess a police officer claimed it was his flashlight that he brought in with him (who knows if it’s true or not) but I agree they were both in the kitchen where Burke was eating one of his favorite snacks of pineapple with milk and JonBenet being the younger sister was probably bugging him for a bite or just being the annoying little sister (I’m a younger sister and would definitely be annoying just to be annoying towards my brother just like many other little sisters) and he got fed up and hit her over the head with something heavy but probably did not have the strength to unalive her but knocking her unconscious and mom and dad stepped in for the cover up. An intruder makes little sense with the evidence they had. There was no evidence of someone breaking in and everything used to hurt her were things that were already in the house in multiple different places. The house was huge and a labyrinth and the “intruder” knew exactly where everything was? That doesn’t make sense.
Or know to the dollar how much their Christmas bonus was. The note also referenced a movie that they had a poster on their wall of. I have no idea who actually killed Jon-Benet. But I am 98% sure it was a Ramsey. Something I rarely hear discussed probably because of how horrible it is but the medical examiner said Jon-Benet had been “abused” but not hit for months to years. This is an incredibly important aspect of the case that is ignored by the media.
My sister would gladly have killed me off with her to this day unbelievable jealousy. My older brother and younger brothers rage as kids was amazingly frightening - so if the brother did it killed his little sister out of jealousy then as parents do you lose both your kids or do you accept a moment of child rage from your son (caused by bad parenting) and look to save him at all costs. They won’t be the first wealthy folks to cover up children’s unlawful behaviour out of love and for family respect amongst ‘their’ tribe.
Hypothetically and in my uneducated & unprofessional opinion... 1. Second person changes what "I/me" think/feel to what a collective "us" would think/feel. This serves as an invitation for everyone to empathize how they'd feel if presented with the same situation, as well as distancing the narrator from the tragedy by removing them from center stage. 2. I believe the agony was genuine. Regardless of exactly how JonBenet died, an innocent, beloved child was lost. Point blank, period. Perhaps that agony and terror had to be channeled into damage control, at any cost. I can imagine protecting family would be a powerful impetus to support a new narrative, especially if you feel you have no other option. P.S. - I liked the movie Speed, too. The ransom note sounds like it was written by Dennis Hopper's character. 3. Again, committing to the story. Visualize how a similar crime might play out. Reinforce the story by telling it over and over. Soon, it infiltrates the subconscious through dreams and before long, the narrative weaves itself into every fiber of your identity. It becomes truth because your life depends on it. 4. Yes, absolutely security conscious. What/who, exactly, was the focus of that security? Who knows? No one really asked that, did they? 5. What happened to Burke? Well...let's skip over some potentially problematic parts and pick up the story later on that morning...he was bundled up and sent off to a friend's house.
@treehugger496, yep, who refers to their child as "that child", esp if they're no longer alive? Also, why wasn't she carrying around something of JB's? How many times have we all seen a mom with some favorite toy, or something, when they're child is missing or died? It's like having the child with them still, in a way, and it has their child's scent on it. Also, their child is gone, yet, they never go back to the house? How many parents can't leave the last place their child was? I get she died there, so, that might be different. But, did ever get any of their belongings? Did they take anything of JB's,?
You’re right on the use of distancing language. Patsy on the phone call to 911, refers to herself saying “I’m the mother.” Why not “I’m her mother.” She also says “We have a kidnapping”, instead of “My daughter has been kidnapping.” If their son was involved, their demeanor, what they said, and how they acted would coincide with protecting him, in my opinion.
I think we all agree that these parents are doo doo either way. Whether they DID it or not they are the main reason their daughters murder has not been solved. All someone has to think is if someone broke into your home and killed your daughter or family member would you not be absolutely destroyed by that for a ling time. The things that these parents say and how they talk it is more like a story than something that ACTUALLY happened. Another question did any of them go to counselling for any of this. This is a very traumatic event that would affect anyone that was not telling a story.
1. His hands don’t get any farther apart. 2. The way John echoes Patsy’s words so closely it’s as if they both had the words in mind before they started. 3. John sounds like he’s composing a scenario instead of recalling one. 4. Why did John jump to the idea of bodyguards? How about just fixing your broken window and setting your alarm? 5. “Ah… w… l…” 🚩
It’s scripted, they went over answers, because they had to get their stories straight. Maybe they are hiding something smaller to save face, either way, if it’s just to save face and not look bad. It’s quite disgusting. I feel it’s worse tho and they knew what happened. It may be such a little thing as they were too drunk to actually put them to bed and just let them fall asleep however and where ever. Considering they were to take a plane ride the next morning. Might have seemed easier if they were tired and slept thru the flight. If they were to tell the truth on that, no one would believe a thing they said. Not that anyone takes what they said at value any way. Just like the McCans. They may be lying just a little out a whole lot
@@moriahlyn Somehow, I find the McCanns more credible - although for the life of me, I can’t understand that with very small children - and their daughter old enough to wake up a bit confused about being in a location other than her own home or perhaps she might wonder out of the condo looking for her parents - that one of the couple or their friends didn’t chose to stay in the condo apartment with the children - especially as the resort restaurant was a far ways away from the condo. It’s not as if the parents were in their own back yard with the children asleep.m inside. I’m not sure that they could even see the condo apartment’s front door from the restaurant. That being said, there were several known sex offenders living close to the resort. Also an eye witness said they saw a man carrying a sleeping child near the resort - but eye witness testimony is often unreliable. Am I correct in remembering that Germany had imprisoned a sex offender on other charges whom German law enforcement believe may be responsible for the kidnapping of Madeline? Or was that another tragic case?
How can Burke vividly remember being in bed and being able to narrate this scene but not remember at all if he was there when his mum was on the phone minutes after?
@@jacquelinehunt7794 perhaps, he however talks in detail how he was when the police and his mom came into his room though and then doesn’t remember if he was with his mom when she made the call.
Actually, kidnappers have been known to keep their victim for years. Off the top of my head, Amanda Berry (the other two with her) , Jacey Durgart, Steven Steiner. But, I don't think either of them were really concerned with that.
I've seen what the death of a child does to a person. (God willing it never happens to mine). The Ramsays always looked like the antithesis of that, bravo Nick for your description, right on the mark.
Something that always bugged me about this case that I've never heard mentioned was some details in Burke's room. He had a set of roman blinds on the window. They were both perfectly raised to the exact same height, mid way, in a decorative equal fashion. I have blinds like this in my own home. My kids would never raise them like that, and I really can't see Fleet or John doing that on the 26th when collecting Burke to go to the Whites- pausing to decoratively raise the blinds. But what child sleeps with the curtains open like that at night and in winter. And his 2 twin beds look extremely neat. One slightly folded back as if someone had slid in and out of it but otherwise undisturbed- not how any of my kids beds look in the morning. It doesn't look like the bed has been made, but it also doesn't look "used". I would love to know what time the crime scene footage was gathered and if anyone had altered the room and curtains prior. The 2 cans of soda in the sink in his room also are interesting to note to note too, who used them and what two people drank from them. If John helped him brush his teeth as he suggested- wouldn't he have binned these? I feel like this room doesn't look like a room that was slept in. Much the way how Patsy wore the same clothes from the day prior. In JB's room the bed looks more "normal" for what I would imagine from a child climbing out, but again the curtains are half open? Why I would love to know if they normally closed the curtains at night.
So many things don't line up with what you would think a parent would do. 1. Read the note in it's entirety, instead of the first line & throwing it on the floor where it stays. 2. Wake the other child up immediately ask where his sister is assuming this must be some kind of joke, ask did he see anything, hear anything if not?? 3. search the entire house. 4. search the yard outside. 5. talk to investigators, let investigators talk to your child asap. No, instead the Ramsey's search nothing, call their friends over for support, call police refuse to cooperate & be interviewed, refuse to allow police to speak to their son, hop on their jet that morning & high tale it outta there hire a lawyer & go months still refusing to be interviewed while going on a PR campaign.
I stopped what I was doing and replayed what I thought I misheard: the crime isn’t that a child was murdered, but what was done to us??? Jaw dropping! Something is not right with the Ramsey!
i’ve wondered so many times if her head was basted with a 8 1/2 inch gash, where is all the blood from that because you bleed a lot from your head.🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔. Her hair, and her head would’ve been covered in blood. Confused
If your blood supply is cut off to the brain, you will have very little, to no bleeding. Thats is why strangulation is listed first in the autospy report.
Which brings up a question. Burk was interviewed by a psychologist on Jan 8th and knew JB had been struck over the head, how did he know that when the autopsy wasn't finished until Feb 13th? Also I believe the Ramsys said they never read the report.
John always came across as slightly creepy to me and I was suspicious as to the possibility he was SAing JB. But I don't know. Burke is also suspicious. What parents wouldn't want to do everything they could to protect their child from the consequences of killing their sibling? This is the weirdest case of all time!
When you think how violently this child died and that it happened at a point in time that was sandwiched between Xmas Day celebrations and a trip on a mouse themed big red boat. Hard to think of two more child focused events/celebrations. But all was not well in the sunny uplands of the Ramsey House.
This was the hardest interview they ever faced, they bumbled through...so many red flags. The pageantry was thick, keeping up appearances was more important than the truth being told. The lack of empathy from both Patsy and John is shocking. It takes a certain type of person to pull this off, my bet narcissistic if not something else. Very disturbing.
Simple case. Everyone fell for the misdiraction. The son has behavioural issues. the parents put all that attention to the daughter. One day the kid snaps and lashes out and the daughter dis killed. The son does not remember as it was just a reflex reaction. The parents cover up for the son. end of story.
Outwit and outplay, indeed. As a parent, I know if I was panicking that my child was missing, the first place I would look for them would be in the house regardless if a letter said they were taken or not. I would search top to bottom, every room, closet, etc. and then branch out to the yards and garage. Nobody would be sleeping. *Everybody* would be looking. Then I would (hysterically) call police.
Patsy seemed really distraught right after and especially at the funeral. Watching those processions i felt she was the onlyone who was really sad.Maybe she was all cried out by then.John has always come off suspiciously. He just can't seem to express himself.I think Patsy wrote the note but i don't think she unalived Jonbenet. I think either like Cyrl Wecht said John was responsible because of sexual play or Burke out of jealousy struck Jonbenet.John is just restrained like he's not forthcoming.
There's a picture of her right after the funeral. It's her,Burke and another woman coming out of the church. Pasty is smiling, I believe Burke is to. The only really upset, sad person is the women behind P&B. I've heard that sometimes when a child is being abused (if that was happening) by the dad, the mom gets upset because she's jealous and hates the child because it's getting the sexual attention from the dad/husband, that the wife wasn't. The mom begins to blame the children, as if the child, was somehow enticing the dad/husband. It's sick and evil. But, maybe that's what happened? She found out, lost her temper, hit JB then staged the scene?
The doll JB recieved for Christmas was a special ordered replica of JB and it came in a wooden box. John said JB said it looked like a coffin. John said this in an interview I don't know how long ago. Chilling, can you imagine how poor JB would feel opening that present 🎁😢
I really like your channel and the Ramsey case is one of the top. I’m just wondering if you’re going to do an update on the Watts case. It seems that more information is coming out lately. I’d like to hear your updated critical thinking on that case. TY
Patsy, was, absolutely driven - I think her grief became channelled into the covering up, and I think she justified that to herself as being in the best interest of the family (& that applies to everyone's who did it theory - I think she was utterly convinced that who was left should remain together). In a way I can feel more compassion for Patsy. I think she experienced some pretty weird younger years herself growing up with Nedra & hubby, the serious cancer illness, etc. John though has always behaved as if he's administering some sort of acquisitions & merger thing for his business - cold, calm, emotionally detached. The note was the biggest mistake.

The only conceivable agony of this couple (very much excluding Burke) is the constant mental energy to have to cover their traces. As for "pageanty", wasn't that the premise of the musical, Chicago, celebrity criminals and their lawyers who got them off scot free?
I know they lived in a big house but geez...if somebody is getting murdered in your house then your going to know about it! A murder doesnt happen quietly. That girl is going to be screaming for her life!
WOW 😮 Great work Nick Ramseys so self consumed, in self protection also What hit me, is when JR said he didn't know when he would see his daughter again, going upto ten years plus, knowing she wasn't abducted but setting the narrative once again 😮 ❤
Using your term of intertextuality: John's comment about the case being about the parents and not about Jon Benet reminds me starkly of Diane Down's comments about her children. She has made a comment about how she wasn't lucky because her (self-inflicted) gunshot wound hurt, but her children were lucky because they were dead and no longer suffering. She has also said, "you can't replace children, but you can replace the effect they give you. And they give me love, they give me satisfaction, they give me stability" -- this reminds me so much of how Patsy treated Jon Benet. It was as if Jon Benet was the life-sized doll that Patsy could play with, dress up, put away when she didn't want to play with it any longer. I don't think the parents killed Jon Benet of course but their comments after her death are very damning of a cover up and their psyche.
Being indignant was very telling. I think most parents looking for their child's killer would let the insults bounce off and would plow forward in finding the killer. They, however, shut themselves off and became uncooperative when it cut to close to the bone and used the excuse of being offended.
Hey Nick, I'm a new subscriber 🎉 great content. Two quick things.. ive always thought that perhaps Jon Benet was only "stashed" in that room (not where she was murdered either) with the intent to discard the poor child later, off the property. Also, what still strikes me about the ransom letter is the word attaché, for some reason it always has bothered me because John consistently said they were to "rendezvous" with their older kids to have a Christmas together when asked where they were supposed to go that morning.
What I find unusual, is when John and Patsy are doing these interviews, they almost simultaneously speak when they answer questions, or Patsy will get stuck and then John steps in to try to help. Like it’s a team effort. I’ve seen many interviews of parents of murdered children, and each one speaks one at a time and are very clear in describing what happened and how they felt. They don’t stumble or need assistance from their spouse when answering questions.
What an unusual case this.

I'm so sorry. That's a gut wrenching account. So sorry, may your daughter rest in peace.
Oh gosh, I m crying … how heartbreaking 💔
I’m so sorry
So sorry for your loss. Thanks for putting into perspective what the state of shock can do to a person who otherwise would act logically. We are judging these people based on what we think a logical parent would do, but not understanding the effects of shock on the brain.
😢 Thanks for sharing that. Your experience qualifies you to speak about this more than any of us. I am so sorry for your immeasurable loss.
Yes, saying it's about them instead of JB was an asinine thing for them to say.
That police women was right on target to believe john knows who killed his daughter
So it's not about JonBenet, who was tortured and brutally murdered, but it's about THE RAMSEYS. That's a horrible thing to say. More and more suspicion falls on them. Something's very very wrong in that dysfunctional family.
The intro and style and content just makes this a true crime channel one I keep coming back to

Also isn't John in fear for his life everyday. Wasn't the faction after him.......🙄
Exactly.
Well, it was a small faction so......😉
"You don't know if she's cold."
Well, the blanket does immediately come to mind. Something to keep her warm.
I've heard the stages of grief are in no particular order for everyone. I imagine denial might be the first stage of grief when someone accidentally ends the life of someone they love.
"You don't even know if she's cold." I took it as in death JonBenet would be cold, and John knew that she had passed!
Sadly, I do believe we are dealing with a psychopath.
Which one? Patsy or John?
@@earth0128neither.
@@earth0128 Patsy
Patsy - psycho
John - Pea dough
Burke - another unfortunate victim who could be any mix of the two
I’m of the belief that John was one of those rich sickos that would share their children with their other sicko friends.
@@Unitenotfight interesting...
I think the biggest mistake the Ramseys made was when John staged the basement with the suitcase by the window, then implying Fleet White was responsible.
i’ve never heard that, what did he do or say to implicate fleet white?? always looking for more pieces to the puzzle!!
The father leached the Evil! I think the father Killed her !
The father leached the Evil! I think the father Killed her !
@@tammywright4436OR had something to do with a person/group that ended this child's life. Yes.
Wow, I'm continually blown away by the points Nick makes in his evaluations. There absolutely is a tone of psychopathy in their descriptions of what's going through their minds. This case is so maddening because we'll never know the absolute truth.
John was treated like a hero at Crime-con. Makes me sick!!
What is crime con
Indeed he uses Crime Con as a PR exercise on his " innocence" in this case not unlike the Mc Canns.
If none of these parents had to be " on guard" ~just in case~ they would have moved on and left it up to LE.
He always is. Crime Com is a yearly convention held in US and London, it's very good
Indeed it beggars belief!
He attends Crime Con to try to prove his innocence.
He is " on guard" ~just in case ~ any of the attendees makes a new suggestion~not unlike the Mc Canns.still trying to control issues that arise from time to time.
If they were innocent they would have grieved moved on and left it to LE.!!
both the Ramsey's and the McCann's
lacked the emotional anguish you would expect if your child was missing
both routinely use distancing language too
and both the Ramsey's and McCann's were defensive
and present themselves as the victim's... rather than the young children
Totally agree.
I'll remember that the next time one of love dies. SMH

No one searching for their child just forgets to check a room in their house.
For God sake, Patsy really comes off cold
Yeah but they try to blame medication. I think she’s just a cold person
@@moriahlynI have wondered about that, as well. Something made her seem emotionally flat and a bit odd - with some real bursts of anger at being accused, wrongly she said, as well. Just my visceral feeling.
It’s called psychopathy

@elizabethcloutman8913 but was she wrongly accused? Covering up is not murdering your child. I think her outrage was truly felt by her. I've always said her behavior in the beginning was that of a mama bear.

And if you're wealthy and powerful enough in your community.
Interesting observation
Very interesting observation. If you're interested, Peter Hyatt does an analysis on the ransom letter.
THEY WERE CLEARED AND THE DNA DOES NOT MATCH THEM.

Lkewise, I hope you'll enjoy a safe, happy and helpful weekend.
Thank you, just bought your first book on the case last night, already nearly 100 pages in, it's so well written.
I always learn something new. Spot on.
Wow, "it's about us"??? That may be the absolute worst thing I've heard the Ramseys say. Thanks for pointing it out.
THEY WERE ALL CLEARED AND DNA DOES NOT MATCH THEM,
I guess a police officer claimed it was his flashlight that he brought in with him (who knows if it’s true or not) but I agree they were both in the kitchen where Burke was eating one of his favorite snacks of pineapple with milk and JonBenet being the younger sister was probably bugging him for a bite or just being the annoying little sister (I’m a younger sister and would definitely be annoying just to be annoying towards my brother just like many other little sisters) and he got fed up and hit her over the head with something heavy but probably did not have the strength to unalive her but knocking her unconscious and mom and dad stepped in for the cover up.
Exactly !
@@Livingtheinvisiblelife and John and Patsy lawyered up immediately. Cause they didnt want the case to be solved.
Shouldn’t it all be about a Jon Bonet? These two are so busy defending their guilt, Jon Bonet’s killing is not even their priority.
Yes, my older brother did violent things to me. He was extremely jealous.
THEY WERE ALL CLEARED AND DNA DOES NOT MATCH ANY OF THEM.
Thank you for your comments.
@@TCRS you're most welcome and thanks to you for the exercise.
Distancing language by John on Dr Phil show and distancing language by Patsy when she called her daughter “that child”.
The last person I trust about anything is Dr. Phil[istine]. But he nailed it here.
Sounds like a Southerner to me, to say, “That child”…
But, I believe JR&PR know exactly what happened.
@@janestillman2422Yes, like they’ve all planned to act out a play. “I will be the mother, you can be the father, you can be the brother…”
It’s not about what was done to John Bennett it’s about the crime that society has done to us - - really? OMG.
The child's name was *JonBenet ...
A six-year old girl.
(_Not_ "John Bennett").
I have always thought a lot of the higher ups covered for the family because an investigation would've exposed a lot more than a murder.
1. They are removing themselves from this tragedy.
The show must go on
Whenever someone else loses a loved one they are sobbing and stressed but not this family
How can Burke vividly remember being in bed and being able to narrate this scene but not remember at all if he was there when his mum was on the phone minutes after?
He was not in bed.
@@jacquelinehunt7794 perhaps, he however talks in detail how he was when the police and his mom came into his room though and then doesn’t remember if he was with his mom when she made the call.
Well, NO kidnapper keeps a child for 'ten years" that sounds like he is talking 'scenario' i or in 'gerneralities", and sounds contrived.
Actually, kidnappers have been known to keep their victim for years. Off the top of my head, Amanda Berry (the other two with her) , Jacey Durgart, Steven Steiner.
But, I don't think either of them were really concerned with that.
No show of emotions, just like the McCanns
Confused
My son was hit by a car when he was 11. He had a fractured skull, swelling of the brain, and bleeding on the brain, but no blood anywhere on his head.
In one of the autopsy videos, they said that it didn’t break the skin on the scalp.
If your blood supply is cut off to the brain, you will have very little, to no bleeding. Thats is why strangulation is listed first in the autospy report.
The cops and the medical examiner's staff were unaware of the skull fracture until that part of her head was forensically examined.
3. Redirecting.
4. Blame the media and authorities.
The Ramseys may have not, but Burke certainly admitted it was his voice on the 911 call.
When you think how violently this child died and that it happened at a point in time that was sandwiched between Xmas Day celebrations and a trip on a mouse themed big red boat. Hard to think of two more child focused events/celebrations. But all was not well in the sunny uplands of the Ramsey House.
The crime started when they made that poor child wear silly dresses and join beauty contests

One day the kid snaps and lashes out and the daughter dis killed.
The son does not remember as it was just a reflex reaction.
The parents cover up for the son.

Always thought the ransom note was way too long?
Outwit and outplay, indeed. As a parent, I know if I was panicking that my child was missing, the first place I would look for them would be in the house regardless if a letter said they were taken or not. I would search top to bottom, every room, closet, etc. and then branch out to the yards and garage. Nobody would be sleeping. *Everybody* would be looking. Then I would (hysterically) call police.
2. They are performing.
The killer lived in that house. You don’t find a ransom note and a practice ransom note in the same location at a body. Ever.

Patsy was so narcissistic. So was John. The Justice System totally failed JonBenet.

They covered it up these people could not have their “Good Name” damaged by an act by an out of control kid.

STRAIGHT UP...ON POINT...!!!!
The only conceivable agony of this couple (very much excluding Burke) is the constant mental energy to have to cover their traces. As for "pageanty", wasn't that the premise of the musical, Chicago, celebrity criminals and their lawyers who got them off scot free?
What would be a reason that anyone would write that letter ? Makes no sense at all, she’s in the basement for Gods sake !

I know they lived in a big house but geez...if somebody is getting murdered in your house then your going to know about it! A murder doesnt happen quietly. That girl is going to be screaming for her life!
The word "cold" really hits me, especially as Jonbenet is left down in the basement. That's cold alright.

Great work Nick
Ramseys so self consumed, in self protection also
What hit me, is when JR said he didn't know when he would see his daughter again, going upto ten years plus, knowing she wasn't abducted but setting the narrative once again 😮

Dr. Phil must have known that John's remark was wholly inappropriate-(that this was about them being victims, not the death of their daughter)!!!!
Psychopathy exists in every social sphere. Either John or patsy could be a psychopath.
The parents' body language always seemed off. They talked like she was just an object.....so professional in presentation.
She majored in journalism at university of course she would write a long note!
They have PTSD from covering up for their son's hatred for his little sister
So Rocket Scientists, Who did kill Jean Bennet?
I always assumed Burke did it.
Sometimes when things are so hard to believe are the very truth of the things we are to believe even though the truth no one will believe.
Didnt they hear the screams from the basement?
