Lol 😆, yeah I think I saw that myself. Thanks Stephen for watching and for the heads up on the fire 🔥. I let Dan know he should check out his trailer for Dan-mage!
Guitar is great! I own a Gretsch Streamliner G2420 and have been laying my eyes on the 2622T because of the bigsby plus the maple finish is beautiful. Loved the video and the jam. Thank you Leo & Dan!
Always had a real soft spot for Gretsch guitars, despite never owning one. This one is a real beauty. Great playing by Dan of course, really enjoyed this video. Thanks fellas.
Thanks for watching and commenting Minty. This is the first time we've done a Gretsch, and Dan says it's the first time he's ever held one in his own hands.
Long time no play - Thanks Dan for that excellent jam! I don't like the color, but i like Gretsch and even this Streamliner as the lower end of production sounds pretty good with those Broadtrons. Put some TV Jones in and you will cry by the sound :-). And the one in the crowd that will notice that there is no binding in the f holes stands way too near by! Thank you guys for this vid and stay safe 🕊
Dan makes her scream and wail ! Nice Gretsch . Great playing . But I also like that nice shinny little thing Leo has on the right side of the waist at the beginning ! : ) Bet that thing has a nice tone as well ... : ) Good stuff guys !

Well, I noticed your name is even shorter than usual Daave! I think you could play this git fiddle standing on your head pardner. You have some great skills and talent 👏. Thanks for watching and for your kind words 😀.
Well the guitar seems to make noise and the pickups seem brighter than the prior version of those broadtrons which was the reason why they changed them from the prior year. There are more mids to highs on the version twos than they're used to be.
The noise is not from the guitar I know I have the same guitar except mine is lest handed the noise is from the amp mine has no noise I know alot about guitars been playing over 48 years I fix them also if they need it
@@leodanryan966 Thank you for the review! I'm trying to decide on a semi-hollow between the Squier Classic Vibe Starcaster, Gretsch 2622T Streamliner, Guild Starfire DC I or dish out even more dollars for a guitar I used to have, the Hagstrom Viking which I regret ever selling as they go for about over $300 more than when I first got it 12 years ago which puts it outside of my choices of semi-hollows under $500. I have long fingers and need a wide fretboard, wider nut dimension. It was a damn good guitar, but no matter what guitar I have, I always want another after about a few months. Thanks very much for watching and for your comments, this video is about a year or more old my friend. I have given the guitar to a student. Personally (Leo) I didn't like this guitar very much. I found it very tinny. I don't recall if Dan ever told his opinion on it. We always play the guitars we review wide open on the tones and volumes so there's a good chance that was the only reason for the tinny voice of the guitar. Maybe you can let me know once you receive your guitar. Thanks again for watching and for your kind comments 👍 😊!
@@leodanryan966 I for sure will let you know. The 2627T is a three pick up jobber so what it will do and what it will sound like I am anxious to find out. So, new Gretsch huh? Nice... I have never owned a Gretsch. Don’t really know why. I guess it’s because I always thought of them as more of a “country” style guitar which was really not my thing back in the day, but hey, Harrison seemed to like his, right? I may be open to finding a sixties Country Gentleman 😎 It has a pretty bright sound, which is not a bad thing. Not a fan of the color, but I am sure it looks better in person. Good job and good luck with it fellas! 👍
Thanks Jimmy for watching and commenting as always. It's our first Gretsch as well (both mine and Dan's). It's not like the hollowbody Gretsch's with all the feedback issues 😀. I really liked your strat video earlier today as well. 👍😉!
Hi, Jimmy. As Leo mentioned, this is the first Gretsch I've ever played. I kind of think it's a Gretsch in the same way that new D'Angelicos are D'Angelicos. The name's in the right place. I really like semi-hollow body guitars, in that they can cover pretty much any kind of music. The Gretsch is a pretty good example, but I prefer my Epiphone 335 Pro. I'm not affluent enough to buy a "real" 335.
@@dryan08 I had a early 70’s 335 Stereo back in the day. I liked it, but eventually sold it to a buddy and bought another LP. I like semi-hollows as well. Though I went many years without missing the 335. I have since picked up a few 338’s and a couple of Jazz boxes which are filling my current needs nicely, and I got them all for less than I paid for that 335 back then! I am also enjoying my thin line Telly’s as well.

Thanks for watching and for your kind comments. The object on my hip is a pistol. I have never fired it in anger thank God, but here in Texas it's not a strange object. I wear it for defense and so far haven't had to shoot anyone, but you never know when the British might come back and start trouble.
I live in Texas, carrying a firearm is legal and advisable. It's said that when seconds count the police are only minutes away. If you have a situation wherein you are going to have to defend yourself with a firearm It's always up to the bad guy as to when. If you don't have it on your person and ready to shoot you are likely to lose your life. Thanks for watching and for your kind question. 😉
