Debating between the RJ tonemaster deluxe or the Fermata SC-24 carbon fiber. The Yamaha Pacifica 112V is nice but shop is too far away from me to use in-house freebies.
Out of the three you listed I think the Tonemaster might be your best choice. It’s a high quality instrument at a good price and can be purchased through Amazon so you know you’re protected. The SC 24 looks like a nice guitar but methods of purchase seen a little to sketch to me.
@@GuitarYourself1 I recently bought their Gigline series Jazzmaster at half price during their Christmas sale, just came to my doorsteps a few days ago
Garbage tuners and strings and overall you’re not impressed? It’s a $99 guitar did you expect it to have Elixir strings, Schaller tuners and Suhr playability? That demo was definitely cringeworthy. With your skill, that $99 guitar is perfect for you.
6 screw trems work great if the guitar is setup, never had a problem with 6 screw PRS guitars & even my Squier stays in tune a long with my Bigsby, just saying.
It does really depend on weather or not it was installed correctly from the factory and so many of the budget guitars are not. But it does require good setup skills. I always recommend for beginners to get a hard tail or lock down the trem till their skills develop.
How does this compare to the donner in build quality? Donner is better right? Those do have stainless steel frets, but that headstock is ugly. Amazon has so many discounted budget guitars right now. Looks like they can't get rid of them.
the headstock doesn't really matter but yes donner is a better, if were talking about budget wise i would probably check out the rj guitars, it also definitely need a set up
I don’t think that for one second! But as a parent I’m not going to spent 1200 bucks on a guitar that my kid plays for a week and decides they don’t like guitar. Inexpensive guitars have their place, but they are most definitely not replacing expensive guitars.
@@SIKIE1000 well if were talking about budget wise rj wins this one, I mean the quality is not that bad considering you can get bone nut and stainless steel frets for 99$, few set ups there it could play nice
Crocodile Dundee enters the chat at 6:37..."now that's a knife!" 🤣
Yes sir!!!
The gigline series has the best specs and wood made in Philippines but japanese quality

I really couldn’t say as I haven’t yet reviewed a Donner. I’m gonna try the “Metal” one and see. And yes that headstock is hideous!
My electric guitar has an OUTPUT jack.
Thank goodness!!!
Too much griping. What did you expect for 100 bucks? And I've seen uglier headstocks.
Honestly I haven’t. Just out of curiosity which ones are uglier?
@@GuitarYourself1 Harmony is one. Just Google "ugly electric guitar headstocks" and you'll see many.
headstock shape always reminds me of autos lips from simpsons😂
