Hi! Just ‘discovered” your RV ourney channel. After watching lots of RV life videos, I love yours the best. No crazy background music, no silly banter, just great video and narration! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your info. We live in NC and hope to start our own RV adventure soon. We will definitely start in our home state. Wonderful reviews of so many lovely possibilities! Thanks!
Hi Kathy. What a wonderful comment. Thanks! We'll plan to keep the travel and tips going. Making plans now for a trip, to the North Georgia wine country in a few more weeks, then out west next year, and the NC and VA mountains in spring. Appreciate you watching! Jerry...
Hi. Dan from Sweden here. Very nice video and informative. when I first looked at the clip, I thought you said; "just some few minutes from Nashville, so when I looked in Google maps I said to myself; "what's he talking about, it's at least 4-5 hours drive over there", until I understood that you have said; Ashville.
Funny Dan. Yes, I'm afraid the southern US accent got the best of me. I'll work on this in future episodes. Or better yet. Come to the US and I'll give you free southern US dialect lessons such as "Hey Y'all", "What'ca fixin' to do?" or better yet, "How's momm'er and 'em" :) Thanks much watching my videos.
We stayed there last November, it is a beautiful place. Our only downside is that we have two dogs, one blind, so walking them is a challenge. It’s a rustic site but very well maintained. Definitely recommend it. Thanks for the video
Hi Bill. Thanks much for the kind comments. Interesting request. We're picking our last couple places to stay in March and will be traveling through this same route. You may not want to go this far west, but James Island County has an awesome park a few minutes south of Charleston.
Hi Jacob and Betty and thank you the blessing. We are so glad you found our channel. We share our trips to help others who maybe interested in similar locations. Since we don't officially represent campgrounds and rates often change, we always recommend going to the campground website for rates. Here is a link to their site www.mamagerties.com/camping-reservations.html. Jerry...
Hi Billy. Asheville is one of our favorite destinations. So much to see and do in the surroundings area and downtown is so neat and quirky. Have fun with you RV. Jerry...
Hi Jerry. Gee, golly molly, I got a kick out of your enthusiasm! Very good video with lots of good information and great views. When you said 50 amp, can I assume you meant they have 30 amp, too? Reservation needed in mid-summer, right? Thanks again and safe travels to you!
Haha! Thanks much for the kind comment. You bet, they had 30 amp service too! Speaking with the owners, they shared the summer months we're very busy and booked quick.
Looks beautiful. I just got my first Camper and haven't used it yet. Some of the sites you videoed looked like they had a steep incline, is leveling an issue there? I'm from Middle Ga. not use to the hills.
Hi Heath. You’ll have a great time with the camper. When you get to the mountains, the hills in some of the campgrounds can be a bit steep. All that we have visited have very level lots. No matter where you go, mountains to the beach, you should have some leveling blocks just in case.
Good video. We tried to get in there last spring for a week. Could only offer us a couple days. Very popular place. How level are the sites? Thanks for the info.
Thanks so much Paul. They close the top site for the winter. You may want to call to see when they open. Could be a little windy, but incredible views. We stayed the next tier down on space 24.
Um, sorry, but you were not in "sanona", you were in Swannanoa, NC. It's pronounced: "swah-nah-NO-ah". Sorry, nice review, but not sure why you thought the name of the town is sanona.

Thanks Vanessa for the kind comments. We have some much to see in the US and Joan and I are having a great time traveling and sharing our experiences.
I work for a car rental agency, and I can attest that every single customer I've picked up/delivered has raved about Mama Gerties...they love it !
Ken, great campground. We're looking forward to going back later this year.

Do you know of any good state or private campgrounds between Columbia SC and Charlotte NC. Love your videos. Well presented.
Hi Bill. Thanks much for the kind comments. Interesting request. We're picking our last couple places to stay in March and will be traveling through this same route. You may not want to go this far west, but James Island County has an awesome park a few minutes south of Charleston.
Very well done video.

Hi Johnny. I spoke with the owners about returning late summer or early fall. He stated they fill up quick and to book early.
Gonna have to add this one to our list of places to visit.
Hi Jerry. Gee, golly molly, I got a kick out of your enthusiasm! Very good video with lots of good information and great views. When you said 50 amp, can I assume you meant they have 30 amp, too? Reservation needed in mid-summer, right? Thanks again and safe travels to you!

Ha ... They need to have an exercise room with a campground like that ??? ha ha

Great video we are looking you book in April. Do you think the top sites would be too windy and cool in April? What site we're you on?
Thanks so much Paul. They close the top site for the winter. You may want to call to see when they open. Could be a little windy, but incredible views. We stayed the next tier down on space 24.

Sorry, nice review, but not sure why you thought the name of the town is sanona.
Gotcha. Thanks for the correction.
“Some kind of pretty!”
Yes sir!
This campground is under new management/ownership.
So many BAD ratings! Prices have doubled!
That's sad. The previous owners were so nice. Sorry to hear this.
