Y’know, I kinda dislike this version cause of the downgrades in sound quality and a lack of animation for moving around areas, but I really dig the cutscenes, especially the trippy ones.
Im pretty sure smt 2 goes off the neutral ending doesn't it? Neutral hero creates a kingdom of man on earth that tolerated chaos and law aligned people and then the messianic faction takes over a few decades later

I really like the great flood cutscene, Don't know exactly why, but the hand movement, followed by the water flooding the city is just so cool to me.

The cutscenes there look so abstract there. I can see that US people back then can't release the game due to how freaky they are.

It almost sounds like bad MIDI. Gotou's bulge makes up for it though.
I dunno, I dig some of the redone scenes, although I prefer most tracks in the original SNES version more by far.
