This makes the neutral path as the balance route. It states that evil cannot be killed off. Evil can only be put to slumber. They are reincarnations and influencers in their souls. They should not take away the standalone anthology structure that the series is known for. Sequels only happen if they related to that specific game. Like Final Fantasy IV. This explains why the protagonists of Shin Megami Tensei and Final Fantasy don't interconnect with each other. They are from multiple worlds, easter eggs, references, and most importantly, are considered reincarnations. There is a why every set of characters have a similar personality, and philosophical viewpoints of their own. Reincarnation, is an important trope in the fantasy genre, and in rpgs as a whole.

If you're in that position, the best way to do it is if you're on Neutral, to use the Masakado's Sword (There's a small dungeon in the manor on an island now accessible just north of the Great Cathedral) or to just use Magic Bullets and charm most of the enemies, except the optional bosses who you can just skip ('cause Magic Bullets inflict Charm).
