Thank you for bringing this up. I usually only focus on the bad things from my psychosis because that’s what caused the PTSD. But there was good, too. I relate to you on the colors one. I’m actually colorblind and had a hallucination that my colorblindess had been cured and I could finally see the world with the full color spectrum. It was beautiful
I'm diagnosed with what you have been. You've made video after video that I totally relate to. Thank you for shifting my focus from the bad to the good because I did feel I had years go down the drain. Psychosis was as horrific to me as it was epic and beautiful and fulfilling. Took me a long time to find interest in reality again after the mountainous peaks I was taken to.
Psychosis was nice for me (I was manic) and I learnt a lot of stuff about myself. My son has it and is hyper religious so has pleasant and not pleasant delusions. I miss my mania....I loved it.
I was dragged through an incredibly horribly terrifying time then everything was really good for about ten months then i went through a second round but it was milder and i felt like i was in a safer place during most of it now its all the time but it evolves and morphs and sometimes is wonderful.
Sounds like your mood kinda dictate how your psychosis will be. So, if you are focused on conspiracy theories in mind an you drift into psychosis, the experience will be really creepy. And if you wake up in a good mood and you move into psychosis , you can have a lovely day. Thank you.
Color enhancement can happen to people who don't have a mental illness. I never enjoyed psychosis except when I was on a manic high. My psychosis was all about religion. I had to lose my religion. I am better off now. As for creativity, psychosis can give you ideas. I'll give you that.
Thanks for making that video. I have found that my pyschotic episodes were terrifying in my teens and 20's but now that I am much older these episodes have become more positive and easier to manage.
My brother is going through Psicosis. It has been like this for about 2 months. He said he can't concentrate, he doesn't play the guitar like before. I am wondering if something similar happened to you? How long does it take to recover from a Psicosis? Thank you for the videos
Oh yes, that has absolutely happened to me! It is really a struggle to get back into playing guitar. For me, it was a few months before I was playing again. I think maybe 4-6 months. It did take a bit longer to completely shake off the whole experience (for the most part) but things like concentration and doing the things you love can definitely come back.

Wow! That sounds incredible. Remembering stuff like that has helped me with the PTSD side of it. There’s really nothing like it - good and bad both.
It's so refreshing not to only hear about the horror of psychosis. Love this.

I’m gonna talk about it too. I’m so glad you understand yourself and are getting better.

Yeah, I only enjoyed it when I was manic, too. I had a lot of religious delusions in my psychosis as well! Not too fun. 😅

Ive heard the "music"
@@thenomothete music just sounds better in psychosis! I would hear really funky rock music, I wish it were real so I could hear it again.
