- The College Football Playoff picture is set with the CFP Committee selecting Michigan, Washington, Texas, and Alabama. On Sunday night Josh Pate took time on Late Kick Live Ep 460 to react. What had to happen in order for Alabama to get in over a team like FSU? Should the Seminoles have been punished for losing their star QB? Will we see Texas punch their ticket to their first national title game since 2009? How will Washington fare? I’m unsubscribing. Tired of the bias in this world.
Is it just me or is Georgia abt to prove why Florida state isn’t top 4 😂
Hey Pate, how about you promote regional parity in Bowl placement to see if the so called best conference can travel and play "away" bowl games? I don't think you have the guts to even mention it. Why change that which gives your conference a huge advantage, right?
The bias towards the SEC is that they have a major "built in advantage". They get all of the Bowl games, major and minor, played in their territory. Home games matter, and the SEC gets it baked in. If they had to play these bowls out West, or in the North. The SEC would have lost half of the National Titles they have won.
Strength of Schedule is inaccurate. Tennessee being ranked well ahead Utah, even though the Pac-12 was a far more difficult conference to navigate proves that it is inaccurate. Tenn lost to Florida, while Utah beat Florida..
Unfortunately fsu is not a top 4 team with the qb injury it’s bad luck but they got it right
You have officially shown yourself a hack and a fraud. I hope that the show dies.
They were talking all week that a playoff with no sec team is absurd, frankly unimaginable, can’t happen. So basically they admit that no matter what sec will always have 1 or more of 4 spots.
What they really mean is it’s absurd to have a national title without bama in it . Everyone just dick rides Alabama
Yea bc SEC is better and sells. Lol nobody wants to see a high scoring ass playoff game bc both teams suck lol sec is just better. If you want to actually compete for playoffs come to the SEC, roll tide
an undefeated SEC team should always be in over someone who goes 13-0 and hasn't played anyone and all their mid team wins were close... FSU in the SEC would lose 2 games at least. Yall mad at Bama yet Texas jumped FSU too! other than beating Bama who did they play in the end to give them the right over FSU???
Yes when they have a number 1 team that losses you have to put the team that beat them in. SEC always brings the most money so why leave them out it’s not smart choice the SEC has never lost semi final play off game past merit matters
@@Eddyboy309 Bama DESERVED to be in. However, Texas did not and should have been first out with FSU in. I love how all these idiots focus on Bama who just beat the 2x defending champion that was on a fucking TWENTY NINE GAME WIN STREAK, but conveniently ignore the part where 7th ranked Texas slips in over FSU and it isn't an issue? Fuck off.
As a complete neutral (Louisiana Tech fan, pain…), it’s just hard to stomach that the committee changed its tune this year when it has consistently gone with the “most deserving”, see TCU and Michigan State. Feel terrible for FSU players and fans. It definitely feels like robbery. Bama is better, but with FSU’s defense, I think they deserved a chance.
Tell me what better win did FSU have over anyone in the top 10?
@@tiamaria6968 not the point of my comment. FSU was ranked in the top 4 without Travis and was dropped this week in favor of an admittedly better team. That just makes me feel for FSU. Anger is justified I think. SEC homers are all so touchy, gosh. Kidding, I don’t mean anything by that. I can only dream of my team being so much as ranked, lol.
@@tiamaria6968 Top 10 teams only have 10 losses between them. They did beat LSU by the largest margin of anyone all season. They also just dominated Louisville's offense where Louisville themselves is ranked 15 and they have an offense to match even though FSU didn't make it look like that. They went out and beat two SEC teams not named MSST or Vandy. They have 0 losses which should be important. The bottom line is that the committee didn't have the balls to leave the SEC out so they put Bama in and worked backwards from there.
It sounds like you answered your own question. "see tcu and michigan state"
Nobody wanted that again and they said that was the criteria.
@@jimland7176Florida is a trash team, that’s a fact. So don’t act like they should be credit for beating an SEC powerhouse. LSU has an atrocious defense, it’s not like they are a real contender. FSU did not have a win comparable to Georgia and they didn’t even play a team as good as Texas. SOS should matter a lot.
This is why I like the FCS Playoffs.. No committees, No politics, it's Win or go home. Everything is done on the field LAST team standing. It's all about Ratings and Sponsorship Money.
I don't knock anyone for how they feel, I just like the FCS Tournament better💯✌️😉
The thing that’s most jarring to me is that FSU is ranked ABOVE Georgia. So, in the committees own logic, FSU is a better football team than Georgia, but not a better team than Texas or Alabama. Just bizarre man
they arent better than bama fsu wont beat ga in their toilet bowl game unless a bunch of ga starters opt out of the game
@@jasoncolwell7293 but if fsu were to lose you would be saying "tHiS wHy ThEy DiDn'T dEsErVe tO bE iN, cAn'T bEaT UGA wItHoUt tHeIr sTaRtErS" so THE FUCK YOU WANT US TO DO. If we decline the bowl we would be "Ducking UGA and an SEC team" so tell me honestly. WHAT THE FUCK DO YOUUUUUU WANT US TO DO?
Can someone explain to me, in what other major sport on this planet is the post season chosen based off of predictive opinions on what matchups would be the best and draw the most attention, over objectively looking at proven wins and record? I understand that it’s different with all the conferences but surely theres a better and more objective way then a tiny four team playoff with completely vague and subjective criteria. And yes I understand this is changing, it’s just stupid that this had to happen and that a certain team just got fucked over due to bad timing.
March Madness.
@@cleveland2022 fair, but march madness is a massive bracket and conference champs are given automatic bids, vs an insanely restrictive four team system where you can apparently be an undefeated champ of a top conference and not even get a fair shot.
march madness also allows for and encourages massive upsets which doesn’t as happen when your basically choosing the best four rosters every single year.
@@nomorepartiezztrue but it doesnt do FSU any favors this year. I said when they announced it was only 4 teams that it should have been 8 from the start. But Alabama deserved to get in over FSU. If anyone should be pissed its Georgia
Boxing. Also UFC.
When a team says they have no interest in joining a more competitive conference & want the easy path to a natty or New Year's bowl game, they get what the earned. Should have joined the SEC when they had the chance instead of taking the cowards path.
It DID sort itself out though. Three undefeated power 5 conference champions. The other two 1-loss conference champions had played each other head to head. Every objective metric puts Michigan, Washington, FSU, and Texas in the playoff. Instead we had a conference room of people decide their opinion is more important than actual on-field results.
Well said. It was sorted out but they made a mess of it.
The old BCS rankings would have put Bama at 3 and FSU at 4
How does every fan in existence know this but a room full of “experts” get it wrong 🤯🤯🤯
@@rayallaire4423obvious questions typically result in obvious answers. Here’s hoping we get honest football in the 12 team era.
Not necessarily. If Bama had lost to auburn then fsu would’ve made it in. If fsu had dominated Louisville or had beat a top 5 team.
They should award Jordan Travis the Heisman for this. If his injury alone is enough to screw FSU like this, then he’s obviously the best player in college football.
Yeah just ignore the other quarterbacks with a complete resume because his team got snubbed. That would be as much bull as FSU getting left out.
Edit: I should rephrase that, people would be just as upset about it as they are over FSU getting left out.
Brilliant!
100 freakin percent my friend. If they're gonna have their cake, then they need to eat it too
Definitely not how that works
@@ImChazo Logically, it is
In my opinion, with FSU going 13-0 is hurtful to the program recruiting in general goes how can you sit there and state that if you win your games become the conference champ that you’re not playoff eligible what student in their right mind would want to play for a team no matter how they play on the field gets left out they would not want to go to that program because the bowl game for FSU it’s just a losers cup because how many of those players are going to opt out on that game that means nothing and what does that do for the first day as a 13 -1 and the playoff committee needs to be a complete neutral entity that does not have ESPN or SEC biased attached to it
In current system, it definitely hurts recruiting. Playoff goes to 12 teams next year, so that will not be an issue. Also, FSU was very close to pulling the plug and leaving the ACC this year. They had a board meeting about it a few days prior to the deadline to announce you are leaving a conference back in August. FSU will be in a new conference by 2025 I believe.
And This is one of the key factors as to why Alabama has ran cfb for the last decade. No matter what cfb places them as main priority 1 loss 2 loss don’t matter they’ll always push for Alabama. And therefore it’s gonna be the same schools running the table with the best recruits (Bama, Georgia) further leaving the competition one sided
because we're entering a new regime. 12 teams leaves much less up for debate. I was a fan of 16 teams, but 12 is infinitely better.
@@mazda787b2 never said that at all .. if it was earned it was earned that’s what sports is about… but just think if the shoe was on the other foot and Bama QB got hurt and they played their final 2-3 games with a 3rd string QB… you think their gonna keep Bama out the playoffs if they win out like FSU did ?? I never want to hear "expanding the playoffs will make the regular season meaningless"
The regular season couldn't get any more meaningless than it is right now.
12 team playoff will not help a corrupt system focused on money alone. Integrity has left the game. I am a lifelong Georgia fan and disgusted FSU was left out.
I’m a lifelong BAMA fan and I’m disgusted UGA got left out. SO WE COULD BEAT YOU AGAIN.
The one thing I haven't heard anyone mention is that the FSU backup would have a month to practice before playoff.
Still wouldn't have mattered. Their offense wasn't impressive against Florida. They just played a shit schedule.
Hardly the same as a proven QB who's played the whole season. That's the problem, it isn't that he isn't good. For all we know he might be greatest QB in history but right now no one knows and they have to factor an unknown on the most important position on the field as part of the equation. Its also not helped by not having the rest of the team having absolutely dominated all their opponents. For example as good as people claim their defense is it isn't like they were keeping every team they played to single digits. Its not like they are sitting on a couple 1k/yard running backs who this QB can just hand it off to and know they are going to pickup that 3rd and 8. The o-line isn't shutting down the rush with 24 sacks on the season. Now they aren't horrible in any of those areas either but none of them are dominate enough to help overlook the QB issue. This team needs its best QB behind center and right now he has to watch from the sidelines. What's sad is that's its a no one's fault situation it just is what it is.
@@chadsamples6178Ohio State beat Bama just a few years ago in the NC game with their 3rd string QB. What’s the difference with FSU not getting in because of that?
@@timothys3119yes it happens, and we all remember it because its very unusual. The exception does not make the rule. When such a situation does occur one of two things has to happen. Either some other portion of the team (defense, running backs, etc...) step up and goes absolute beast mode. Or the backup QB steps in and makes it look like there was little or no drop off. They played the last 2 games with backups which of those two situations occurred in either more or less both of those games? Again they are a really good team but they aren't great even with their star. Without him they are simply a good team.
54 passing yards against louisville and they literally dropped six ints
Let's please not call it a playoff.... It is an invitational.
Exactly. It's SEC/ESPN-influenced bullshite decisions being sold as prime rib decisions.
This is the problem with D-I college football. It's never been about "most deserving", it's always been about the powers that be and who they "feel" is the best team(s) based on that particular season's circumstances.
And with the 4 team playoff, it feels like they change criteria based on how bad they want an SEC team in, or if Bama has less than 2 losses, they'll make up anything to get them in. They've gotten in w/o winning they're division. Would that ever happen for schools like UGA, Michigan, Washington...? I'd bet a lot of money it wouldn't.
It's all biased, money-driven, phonyness. 2023 FSU is no different than 2004 Auburn.
Idk if 12 teams solves anything. Why did we skip 6 & 8? Imo, 8 would've been most ideal. 5 (now 4) conference Champs and 4 at large. There has to be some reward for winning a conference. Otherwise, what's the point of having them?
The 4 team playoff would've been perfect next season because the conference championship games make it effectively an 8 team playoff. Just give every power conference champion a spot and rank those champions accordingly. If you weren't good enough to win your conference, you're not good enough to play the other conference champions for the national championship. It's that simple. 12 teams only expands this problem and fills it up with bad games involving 7+ teams that have no business being in the playoff, getting beaten down by the 2-3 teams that are good enough to win it.
For one, Alabama, or anybody else, has never made the CFP with two losses. Auburn was actually probobly the only team thus far to control their own destiny with two losses in 2017 but lost in the SECCG. Georgia had also gotten in in 2021 without winning the conference champion, TCU was in last year as an 12-1 noncon champion, Notre Dame made it after getting crushed in the conference championship in 2020. Ohio State got in last year without winning their division.
UGA literally got in after losing their conference championship two years ago ya dork
The committee shouldn't have made Florida St. #4 three days ago if they weren't #4. You simply have to look at a map to figure out what the committee was going to do. Three teams in the same area meant only one had to get in to get that area to watch the playoff. If you take Texas you have to take Alabama, If you take Alabama you have to take Texas, although they conveniently forgot about the past excuses about early losses vs late! The worst thing is the committee doubling down by having Georgia now play FSU in the Orange bowl. The logic that if Georgia wins, which they will be the favorite, it validates leaving FSU out of the final four. Has #5 and #6 ever had to play? Georgia is being used as a blunt object to whack FSU. On top of that OSU #7 is playing Missouri #9. Yet somehow Oregon #8, another popular contestant, who was supposed to beat Washington, is now paired with Liberty #23? A team all the way in Virginia now having to play in the Fiesta Bowl in Arizona. Talk about stacking the odds!
Interesting argument. They are also giving them a chance to prove they deserved it with a huge chip on their shoulder. If they win, the committee 100% got it wrong. Washington is getting road game in New Orleans. Washington is good enough to beat Texas vs a hostile crowd. They did it last year.
yeah except I've been a georgia fan for 20+ years and they don't get up for games like this and they aren't going to give a fuck about the orange bowl when they wanted to win 3 in a row. So that's going to backfire on them
Bowl games outside of the cfp doesn’t show anything because both teams have players sit out. Key players
The argument is slightly flawed because the committee wanted to leave Texas out but couldn’t justify it since they had the h2h over Bama. Had Georgia won, it would’ve been UGA, Michigan, Washington, FSU. But by Bama beating the #1 team in country, the committee couldn’t leave them out and by default had to put Texas in as well. That’s why FSU was #4 last week because everyone expected UGA to win.
Go beat Georgia and prove the committee wrong, oh wait this is going to be last years national championship
I am so glad the 4 team playoff is going away.
It won’t matter. We learned the system is corrupt … focused on money and ratings alone. Integrity has left the game. Arguments will just be different … pairings … etc.
Me too. Now Bama can win the CFP EVERY year 😈
Yeah undefeated conf champs won't be left out EVER again!
No, you'll bitch your #13 team didn't get in.
In the NFL, they dont replace playoff teams due to the starting QB being out for the playoffs
This isn't the same system though and I think that's the part that many people fail to realize. This is a 4 team selection process....not an every divisional winner gets into a playoff spot process.
@@BrianGlaze FSU season was for nothing, 13 and 0 will not get you in ,you need a hard luck storyline like TCU.

If you as a committee are going to change the rules of the game then that needs to be told in the pre season. Just let the teams play and this isn’t an issue. The committee has always been a joke they just never needed to chose a side. It is clear college football has changed for the worse.
It sure has and consider this. On New Year's Day There is only going to be one game televised on regular TV. Both Semi final games are on New Year's Day covered by ESPN. To make matters worse, the National Championship is also going to be televised by ESPN. For them to not playing the biggest college football game on regular TV such as ABC is an absolute disgrace.

They did pick the four most capable teams. I won't complain FSU is cold and deserves respect but this year only four teams got in and they picked the right ones
The playoffs rules clearly state...injuries are part of the selection process. All the people whining for Florida St want to ignore the rules and that didn't happen. Florida St with a backup QB isn't one of the 4 best teams...they had 55 yards passing Saturday. The committee got it right

The thing is, there's two way to rank the CFP: most deserving, and best. This year, they did a mix of both, which is just the worst way to do it. You have to stick to one process.
Michigan and Washington made it because they were most deserving. Alabama made it because they were a top 4 best team. Texas is a mixup between the two methods.
The issue? Georgia and Ohio State are possibly top 4 best teams, and FSU is a top 4 most deserving team.
You can't pick and choose which teams you want by switching your ranking method. Either it's the top 4 best teams (Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State) which no one wants to see, or the top 4 most deserving (Michigan, Washington, FSU, Texas). Some of these teams could be switched around of course because "best" is subjective.
Last year TCU was picked over Bama because they were more deserving (but obviously not better). This happened because an SEC team (Georgia) had already made the playoffs. This year, because an SEC team hadn't already made it, they decided to pick the better team (Bama) over the more deserving (FSU).
Simply, the committee changed their ranking method just so the SEC made the playoff.
True
Good points, I was thinking the same thing earlier about them mixing both deserving and best teams.
Well said. Every year before this they basically did 4 most deserving,
Michigan is easily and unequivocally one of the best and likely the best team. SP+, Sagarin, FPI, CFB nerds, and likely Pate along with any others I've yet to mention all have different power rating systems that all have Michigan #1. Vegas favored Michigan for a reason and it's because Michigan has been the best team all year long. The idea that Michigan got in based solely on "deserving" it and not being among the best teams is absurd.
Michigan 27-17
Last time i checked 13-0 is better than 12-1
I’m a bama fan but I wasn’t expecting this I was hoping for either Washington or FSU to lose and Bama to win against Georgia when we beat UGA but neither Washington or FSU lost I thought we were done for. Honestly I was not mad I thought we had a magical season it looked like we sucked at the beginning only to come back and spoil Georgias three-peat and not to mention the Iron Bowl win. I’m happy this season turned out the way it did . But now that we got into the playoffs everyone is going to try and put and asterisk on it and accuse us of wrong doing just because we were selected in what was basically a 50/50.
I agree. I think there is a large contingent of Bama (and for that matter SEC) haters out there. Bama didn't ask for it to go this way. Like you, if Bama had their way, they would have preferred an FSU loss. Oregon beating Washington may have muddied the waters too much and given the committee an opportunity to keep an SEC team out by putting both PAC12 teams in. Keep in mind, Oregon was consistently ranked above both Texas and Alabama. I think what people are also missing is that the loss Louisville took to Kentucky (SEC team who was easily handled at home by Bama), hurt FSU as much as anything. FSU's inability to dominate and take control over Louisville in that conference championship game was telling. I also think the biggest injustice done by the committee was keeping FSU ranked so high in prior weeks when they probably had an inclination that they weren't a top 4 team.
Not gonna lie....This is the 2nd time Alabama made it in where it's been very questionable, and I'd argue a 3rd time where serious discussions could be said they didn't deserve a spot. I agree with being "rigged" because CFP completely ignored Bama's "eye test" when they needed a miracle to beat unranked Auburn. Same team that lost to New Mexico. CFP ignored Bama's Auburn game while judging the Cards game though FSU won by 10. I am so disappointed in CF that my enthusiasm for the sport plummeted big time. It's wild to me that no one questioned Michigan being in over everyone else, let alone the one seed. They had a joke non-conference, and Ohio State is the only team they played all season with some semblance of a competent offense
And they gained less yardage against Iowa - a statistically and analytically inferior defense to Louisville's - with their full complement of skill position players than FSU did with a 3rd string QB.

You're right about Oregon. I wouldn't even put Oregon ahead of Ohio State. Ohio State dropped from #2 to #6 in a close game to Michigan.
Going into the conference championships, the ranking should have been:
1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. Washington
4. FSU
5. Texas
6. Alabama
7. Ohio State
8. Oregon
This way, Texas and Alabama would have just moved up two spots. FSU would have to make the argument that they are better than Texas and Alabama.
A big argument should be made for Ohio State over TX also... No idea why they are getting so much respect... Weak schedule, several shaky games, and a loss!
I pretty much agree with all of that and don't think Oregon should have been FIVE after losing to UW a few games earlier. Sadly if Oregon would have won the Pac 12 championship they would have probably got the nod and not even been deserving of it. All because they were sitting at 5 after LOSING when they were ranked 8 to then #7 UW.
I actually think Michigan is going to lose and that they would lose to any of the teams in the conversation.
I can't agree with leaving FSU out. If it's just an eye test, were they not looking a week earlier when Bama needed a miracle to beat a 6-win Auburn? If it's by record, FSU has a better SOR. Except for the fact that Georgia got beat by Bama in Atlanta. They were basically at home. FSU deserved it over Texas.
If Georgia was better than Alabama they would have proved it. Bama had injuries too, the starting RB was out and we still ran down their throat. When Paul Finebaum went on ESPN and lauded Alabama's tough SEC schedule (which included a win over #13 LSU), but then criticized FSU's for "only beating the 5th best SEC team", I knew the Seminoles were screwed. I agree with you in that I don't think it was rigged in the traditional sense, but seeing guys like Finebaum, Herbstreit, and Orlovsky twist themselves into knots to argue for Bama over FSU shows that ESPN/Disney at least tried to put their finger on the scale. I don't know if it happened, but I'd be surprised if their largely pro-Bama commentary (with a few dissenters like RGIII) didn't have an effect. The ACC may be an ESPN-aligned conference, but it's no secret that ESPN values their SEC connection above all because it is their biggest college money maker.
The conspiracy theorist in me thinks that part of the reason is because they wanted to further prod FSU (and their buddies in Clemson, Chapel Hill, Charlottesville, and Coral Gables) out of the ACC, but obviously I can't prove that. Regardless, I feel bad for FSU because I truly believe they were the more deserving team. Travis's tweet about wishing he had broken his leg sooner was sad as hell and unfortunately perfectly encapsulated the issues with the committee's decision-making process. Thank goodness we're going to 12 teams next year.
Could have gone to 12 this year if the ACC commissioner had voted with the SEC and Big 12 this year instead of next year...only ffitting that one of those 3 conference teams gets left out.
Just an opinion. Here is another. FSU had the 91st rated schedule. Their best win was against the third best team in a division, not conference, just division. If you give Ole Miss the schedule FSU had, undefeated. Give it to Iowa, undefeated. They would be double digit dogs right now to not only the 4 playoff teams, but also Oregon, Georgia and Ohio State. They are not only not one of the 4 best teams in the country, they are not even one of the best 8 (maybe 10, I believe they lose to Iowa, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, probably even Clemson in a rematch). Look at the line on the Orange bowl. Georgia is favored by 13.5. That's ridiculous. Vegas doesn't do conspiracies or favorites. They put money on it. People put money on it, they leave bias at home. The committee got it right, to a point. They could have put Ohio State or Georgia in and they would still have it right. There are compelling matchups all over the top 7. There are no compelling matchups with Florida St. Look at the line already.

The committee broke the protocols. Strength of schedule, head to head, and availability of key players/ coaches are "tie breakers" for teams with a comparable record. This is bad for college football.
No, it says the criteria (that you listed) comes into place for teams that are comparable, not teams with a comparable record. That’s a big difference. Anyone who watched FSU without Travis can easily see that is not a team that is comparable to the others.
Then Liberty should be in the top 4. According to you

The Michigan watch party reaction video when Alabama was announced revealed volumes. No one fears FSU now and putting them in, elite D or not, would've been like playing Iowa, an easy win. Alabama is one of the four best teams because they're still one of the most feared teams in the country.
Cardale Jones is kind of the exception that proves that you can't calculate the value a player brings. He was a statistical fluke in 1st games started. Many many great future players, especially at QB have rough 1st games. You cannot accurately predict what their second game will look like. Especially in the playoffs. @@masterjedifunkolobstah4836 Ok take both wins out. Then they have about the same strength of schedule and Texas lost to a bad Oklahoma team with their starting QB. Texas got bailed out hard vs KSU with missed kicks. FSU deserves to be in more than Texas.
the main factor is from head-to-head competition By 10 points to Texas What the h*** are you talking about
@@koemando8355 And what do they have over FSU
I don't care if FSU loss in the playoffs. They went undefeated. Bama loss. Just like if you put a 10-2 over a one loss team. Your record matters. Also if you don't make your conference title game you shouldn't make it over a one loss conference winner.
Bama was also a hail Mary away from 2 loses
Tissues help when you can't stop crying 😂
Bama Bias at its finest is what this playoff is.
When has Alabama made the playoffs and not proved they were a top 2 team in the country?
No it's is Texas Bias!!!!... bama beat an undefeated ranked #1 team...
Yeah I’m wondering about this too. Bama beat the #1 team that makes sense. But just because Texas beat them in week 4? Texas has a loss too and does not deserve to be ranked above FSU
@@chrisuncleahmadOle Miss has never won an SEC championship and have 0 Championships so that’s a stupid comparison.
@@AceWillliams you cant prove your resume was worthy of being in the playoffs. sure they can win doesn't mean they should of been given that opportunity.
Ok. THIS guy is now my Prime example of the kind of football analyst you want to be. He presents his case in a neutral fashion and if he has any favorite team you can't tell and if he hates a certain team you also cannot tell. His presentation style is credible and he comes off as trustworthy in his analysis unlike people like Booger Mcfarland who is over the top when it comes to hatred towards Alabama and his clear preferences and David Pollack who is probably right there with Booger when it comes to his hate for Alabama which they both let dominate their so-called analysis. When Pollack told people before the SEC Championship that Georgia would "Boatrace" Bama off the field because Georgia was the better team and had the better coach I about spit out my food. First off, his ridiculous statement told me that 1.) he was a Bama hater and 2.) he was a Georgia homer and 3.) He did not do his homework before he opened his mouth because if he had he would have discovered that a Nick Saban led team is undefeated in the SEC Championship, he also would have learned that Nick Saban is 10-1 vs Kirby Smart and finally he would have learned that Bama doesn't get "Boat Raced" off the field very often on the odd occasion where they actually lose. So while Booger and Pollack cannot be taken seriously in their football analysis Josh Pate here can. He is the new standard when it comes to football analysts for me.
This is opinion > facts and it's morally wrong. This is about money over integrity and the kids at FSU are paying the price.
This has to be a world record late kick cut in length.
Here's your results on the field josh. Since Jordan Travis's injury, FSU's defense has allowed one TD in 38 drives. And the one TD was aided by a terrible roughing the passer penalty. The best defense in college football will be in the orange bowl.
And get beat by 30
To think the Bearcats got into the 4 team playoffs but FSU didn’t this year
Whole different year nd this year way better competition
@@Lsmoove21Then why did the Bearcats get in over Notre Dame? Don't care if they won earlier in the season. Really think Cincy was better than them or OSU?
@@pdxcorgidadWell yeah because that’s what happened on the field. They went to South Bend and dominated them.
@reggiej230 lol dominated. We have to look at body of work. Not even close. And what about OSU? Really think Cincy was better than the Buckeyes?
@@pdxcorgidadThey couldn’t justify Ohio State over Cincinnati that year
SEC homer please explain why Bama gets in w/ double digit loss at home and needing a last second 31 yard heave TD to beat a 6-6 Auburn who lost 31-10 at home to New Mexico State?
If wins and losses don't matter at the end, what is the purpose of keeping score?
Want to be in, win more. Don't lose. Sucks to suck.
