      Bet Josh is really tore up. Didn’t see this one coming did he? He was one of the millions that thought an 8th place team deserved to be a 4th place team. They should have practiced snapping the ball a few more times. When Bama loses, America wins.

      GA fan here..Do you think Milroe might get benched early next season for that good 5 star QB freshman yall just got if he plays like that to start the year? He only had 116 passing yards. I feel like Bama is at their best and unstoppable when they have a good passing QB

    • @thebeachmann
      @thebeachmann 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@sammyocean8896 That's just recent history. The oline this year was the issue- bad snaps galore, missed blocks, penalties. Milroe isn't perfect by any stretch, but with better protection he does pretty well. He could certainly be passed over for one of the younger guys if they are playing better though.

    • @niss2142

      @@sammyocean8896 I have no doubt the Julian Sayin will get the start as QB for the Tide next year. Milroe will be in the portal unless he switches position. Milroe is three years in this program, and he plays like he is going up against high school competition. He has yet to adjust to the speed of the game. Look at the first drive. Sacked three times. Each time his attempt to escape the rush was to run backwards instead of just throwing the ball away. That's not a coaching problem. That's his natural instinct that he will always have a problem to overcome. Just like Jalen Hurts instinct is to escape a rush by running to the right. It is what it is folks.

    Josiah Stewart just destroying Bama's OT who has 100lbs on him was incredible and was the main reason why that final play got stuffed.

    • @crimsonkings205
      @crimsonkings205 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +11

      Not necessarily. The center snapped the ball to the point it was literally almost rolling on the ground which messes with the rhythm of the play. It forces the QB to take his eyes off the field and doesn’t allow the play the develop. If the snap is solid then Milroe likely walks into the end zone right behind the gaurd who pulled.

Massive congrats to Michigan, they’re some stone cold, hard nose, eat your heart out your chest type of guys and I respect the shit out of that. I think by fixing the Oline, it will allow Milroe more time to process and we seen what he's capable of when things are clicking like they should be (LSU game, 2nd half of Tennessee and UGA to name a few) fix the Oline and work all off season on Milroes intermediate game and were right back in the mix next year. Beating UGA and snapping the win streak was way beyond what I expected. Playing a competitive game against the best Michigan team I've seen in my lifetime in the playoffs ain't shabby at all.

    I watched this game, and there was a momentum shift on Alabama's last scoring drive. They were moving, they had momentum ... and then they got flagged on a 1st and 10 for a false start or illegal shift or something. Back up five yards, shouldn't be huge ... but the whole mood of the game shifted. The offense stalled. Up to that flag, Alabama was rolling for another TD to seal the game. After that flag, Michigan had the momentum. They stopped 'bama cold and forced the field goal. Then they took the game in their hands and tied it up. The muffed punt nearly undid it, but the returner did just enough to keep them alive, and they survived to go to OT. Then two runs from Corum and a PA and we were up seven. But the worst was that last 4th and goal. Two time-outs. Waiting FOREVER for the final snap, only to see Milroe go straight ahead and right into the stone wall. GO BLUE! It was glorious.

      I played center. I used to practice for hours making long snaps so I could look through my legs one time to see the distance, and could put the football exactly where the quarterback wanted it with the ball seam in the position he wanted it. Same thing with punts and extra points - the ball at the desired height, and the seam in the position the punter or holder wanted it. We used to have one play where the quarterback was at the line and I centered the ball to one of the running backs through the quarterback's legs. The Alabama center needs to do some work - centering the ball accurately is his responsibility. There is no excuse for his performance.

    Alabama ran into Big Ten Defense. It is easy to look good when Georgia is the toughest defense you see. Half the Big Ten defenses would shut Alabama down. The Big Ten gets bleeped on for low offensive production compared to the SEC, but low offensive production is inevitable when you are playing against Big Ten defenses. Even when Big Ten teams get a break from the Big Ten, Notre Dame is waiting for them.
