@@softjones3128not just that the acc whined about the playoff this year so it’s on the head of the acc for throwing a fit. We would have had a 12 team this year
It’s a bit poetic though considering that the head of the ACC is a major reason the expansion got delayed. It’s also funny considering how much FSU has been throwing attacks at their conference.
"You know what's not football? People in a room telling 13-0 teams you can't play." That was the most true point made in this entire video, and its the last sentence.
@@tierlis422They went 6-4 against the SEC this year. They have more bowl teams than the SEC this year and FSU beat both SEC teams they played by at least 2 scores. They held LSU, the best offense in the country to 24 points. Their worst offensive game of the year. So yea. It is a Power 5 conference. We all just need to admit the games don’t actually matter and it’s just a popularity contest. We should call it the college football invitational, not a playoff. At least that would be honest. Does anyone actually believe that if Bama lost their starting QB and was undefeated, that they would get left out of the playoffs? Not a chance in hell.
It’s absolutely about picking the better team. Don’t truly believe that FSU team that showed up in the ACC championship could beat Alabama right now? You’re delusional.

Why would this group have an SEC bias?
The arrogance of ESPN/ SEC apologists comes from a sense of entitlement never before seen in college football. It will take decades for college football to regain any credibility in sports. This is very similar to what has happened to the Olympics.
Another sport in the process of being ruined by greed… The committee just stole FSU’s chance at the greatest Cinderella story ever. Also, the decision to have 12 teams in the playoffs, instead of 8, means most of the individual player records will be held by players on 2nd tier teams, as they all get an extra game over the top tier teams. Bad decision after bad decision by the modern NCAA.
So beating the #14 team with your 3rd string QB looks worse than needing a 4th down miracle against Auburn (who got drilled by New Mexico State) with your starting QB the week before.
That just shows the committee doesn’t know what they’re doing cuz there’s no way Louisville is in the top 20 fsu should’ve never been top 8 even with ya boy Travis
Yes. The iron bowl could be between 11-0 bama and 0-11 auburn and it would be must see tv and a close game. They also beat georgia who hadn’t lost in 2 years. Nobody wanted to see fsu get run off the field. 3 yards per play against louisvilles defense what do you think michigan would’ve done to them?
@@jakeparker8839 yeah and just like rich said, how’s a team with eli manning gonna beat a team with Tom Brady and Randy Moss that’s undefeated? It’ll never happen. How’s an eagles team that loses their MVP candidate late in the season gonna beat the pats? How’s Ohio state gonna win with a 3rd stringer? It cracks me up now that the rankings are out people are straight up saying they know the future. Like it’s a solidified 100% fact and that they had absolutely no shot. AUBURN came one bonehead play away from beating them and FSU is a far better team. ARKANSAS almost beat them and that is a terrible team. Anyone who is a true football fan should be disgusted.
They violated the sanctity of the sport for money and everybody knows it. This was a game about winning and losing on the field now everyone knows its about vegas odds, money, and brands.
Thank you. Lots of UF fans taking victory laps on this and that's not right. It happened to us, it can happen to you or them or anyone else. As an FSU fan, sure, I want UF and UM to lose, but I want it to be fair. I would never want to see THIS happen to another team. And now the precedent is set that the committee can do this. Robbery in plain sight. And if they did it once they will only do it again. Something egregious like this will happen again in the future, and there will be a great 11-2 or 10-3 team snuffed out of the #11 or #12 playoff spot for a big name 9-4 SEC team. It will happen. Wins no longer matter. The playoff is now an invitational, only if your ratings > other team's ratings. We're also now subconsciously telling players to injure star players since it means they drop in rankings. We're also now telling players that there's no point in going undefeated since you still won't get in, so more star players are going to sit out. CFB will never be the same again.
This was put into motion when FSU threatened to leave the ACC back in August. They wanted out, but the SEC said "No thanks, we have that TV market", the BIG 10 wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole, and they didn't want to join the BIG 12 because that's a worse situation than the ACC. Their own conference is pissed at them, they're the second or third fiddle in their state, and you had the weight of the SEC working against them. Heck, the chair of the CFP committee, Boo Corrigan, is the AD at NC State, and he didn't push for them, he swayed it to Bama. This is more of "everyone hates FSU" more than "everyone loves Alabama".
From a 'Cane/305 lifer since 1984...'Noles' 11-0 is a mirage, squeaked by half their games with Travis imagine now. There's at least 4 other teams left out way more deserving of a CFP spot.
"There are three undefeated Power Five conference champs. In a system built purely to reward the strongest resumés, those three teams-Michigan, Washington, and Florida State-would definitely make the field. The question would be whether the fourth team is Alabama, Georgia, or Texas. Alabama beat Georgia in Saturday’s SEC title game, and Big 12 champion Texas beat Bama 34-24 in Tuscaloosa on September 9. By this logic, the calculus could have been simple: The three undefeated Power Five champs take the first three spots, and one-loss Power Five champ Texas gets the fourth."
Lol but ppl think it's impossibility to leave an SEC team out even tho the conference wasn't tht good this year as previous years. History shouldn't matter in current rankings
Everyone always 'knows' who the best teams are. All I heard for 4 weeks is that Oregon was the best team around and would trounce Washington. You play the games, you don't just pick. And no, the BCS was not always right. One year Nebraska went after losing by 30+ to Colorado and then got killed in the final.
they lost by 30+ to Colorado and were awarded with a Miami loaded of future HOF players at the Rose Bowl for the National Championship. In 2003 Oklahoma was demolished by Kansas State in the Big 12 Championship Game and they put Oklahoma over USC to play LSU in the Sugar Bowl for the Crystal Ball
Earned how exactly? What rule states that the worst p5 champion needs to be in the cfp. Earned-deserved… Alabama is the better team, they didn’t earn a spot beating Georgia? Texas didn’t deserve a spot? 5 conferences 4 spots and the team that would be 2 touchdown underdogs to anyone in the top 8 didn’t make it

@@Gadfly247 FSU is in a power 5 conference. The decision should have been extremely easy. Going undefeated in an explicitly stated legitimate conference takes priority over everything EXCEPT other undefeated teams, then you start looking at other metrics.
I’ve heard many argue that excluding FSU was the path of least resistance, and it generally makes sense. However, it’s the only option that requires obliterating a fundamental principle of competitive sports - the games matter, and wins/losses matter. Excluding FSU is the only option that guts the integrity of the game and fan confidence in why we all follow sports in the first instance - to let the players and team performance determine who wins. In the end, the committee did not take the path of “least resistance,” but opted instead to commit sacrilege.
College Football committee made the right decision leaving Florida State out. There's no way FSU is a top 4 team with their third string QB....Remember when Cincinnati got into the playoff because they were "uNdEfEaTeD" and it was a great story... How did that work out? They got boat raced by Alabama. The same thing would happen with FSU this year, and that game would be an automatic win for the other team. These 4 teams make for great games and a great playoff race where every team is evenly matched and anyone can win it. Stop Crying!!!!
@@jamesknopp7494 Remember when Ohio State had to use their third-string quarterback for the last few weeks of the season and ended up winning the national championship against Oregon?
I am saying this on about every video I find talking about this. Just wondering how a team wins with their 3rd string QB and that doesn't count for anything. That is a credit to the TEAM AS A WHOLE, including coaches, which is what football is about. Shows the team is not just one position. Also, name me a sport that doesn't go by record first?
If the reason was because FSU's QB goes down, then why not just announce the playoff teams at that point? One of my friends called said this is not a college football playoff, it's an invitational.
Exactly, FSU just should have quit in that game after travis went down and forfeited against UF and Louisville. Tate Rodemaker certainly would have been better off, he wouldn't have taken that hit to the head against UF
“FSU got a bad break” Excuse me? No FSU did not get a bad break, a bad break would be a referee missing an important call in a game you lost. FSU got screwed and the committee robbed them of their season long achievement to put an SEC team into the college playoffs because everybody knows why.

2 thoughts. Back in the day it would be just be Mich vs Wash for championship and no one would have a problem. If your going to have a playoff you can't use a committee, has to be result based. I like how FCS does it.
If you’re on the Committee, whose wrath would you rather face? FSU? Or the entire SEC apparatus + ESPN? There was no way in hell the committee was ever going to leave out the SEC in a four team playoff tournament.
Correct, of the 3 difficult choices... they picked the path of least resistance, meaning, the one that would give them the least outrage, and least financial blow. That is true. However, if they went with screwing Bama, or TX, at least those programs (fans/coaches/players) could eventually move on by realizing they had full control of the true spirit of football, their own destiny was in their control... they COULD HAVE beaten the teams they lost to, and didn't... on the field. They can at least understand that. By killing FSU, you kill the very soul of college football and competitive sport. A 13-0, conference champion, who went out of their way to play 2 traditional powerhouse SEC schools to bolster the resume, beat them... and shared a common opponent with Bama, and put more points on them while allowing less points to be scored. They not only won all these games, they won the common opponent column too... and... any other school (especially if it was GA or Bama)... who be PRAISED for winning with a backup, praised for winning a championship game with their 3rd string, PRAISED FOR HAVING AN AMAZING DEFENSE for such a low scoring conference championship game. But not FSU... they only point out the negatives.
At least Rich is honest in that ratings and revenue is what matters to the CFB committee; it is NOT about competition and the true spirit of the sport.
This playoffs is almost certainly more competitive with bama in vs Florida State in. People are so dishonest when they say anything about revenue. The only argument is whether it's right to decide based on most deserving and best. If they choose best, then they made the right choice.
This is absolutely about competition. FSU with their backup QBs has fallen off a cliff. The total offensive yards per game when Travis started averaged 450. The last two games averaged 220.

The most toxic thing about college football is the game we all play in our heads where we think we can predict who will win a game with such absolute certainty.
As far as The Dawgs and Seminols are concerned, if I were the governors of GA and FL, I'd formally announce from both State Houses that both state governments (FL and GA) have agreed that the winner of this game will be declared the 2023 national chapions. Both states will recognize the winner and honor the players of the winning team as the 2023 College Football National Champions. In the winner's state there would be a parade and a day of recognition. What could the playoff committee do? What could the NCAA do?

"That's football;" "That's the breaks." You say that to Georgia, saying 'they lost the game;' well we should be saying that to Alabama too - since they lost that game (at home) to Texas. SEC should be out. You don't leave out a Power 5 undefeated Champion that did everything asked of it.
Thank you Rich for having the rational response to this. The committee has proven that the results on the field matter less than the conference patch on your jersey. My impression is that the selection committee did look for reasons to keep Florida State out rather than look at what they have done this season that merits selection. It doesn't make sense to look at the offensive struggles in the ACC Championship game without at least giving serious consideration that the quarterback of that offense would not even be the quarterback playing in the playoffs. And Rich pointed out that the ACC beat the SEC head-to-head this season. This has to count for something. I hate what the selection committee did, because it discredits the entire selections process. There are so many recent stories of back-up quarterbacks leading their teams to success, and Florida State's would have been backed up by a tremendous defense. It sucks.
Give some examples of success in college of the backup QBs leading to success (in the playoffs besides Ohio St). Ohio St won 59-0 and left no doubt. Name them....
They did look at FSU’s merits and there aren’t many. Their best win is against a team that finished 5th in the SEC. They have two wins against teams that are ranked. Every other team vying to get in played another top 6 team to get there. As much a Rich went on here about the SEC being down, when all the games were played the SEC has 5 of the top 15 teams and has three teams playing in the NY 6 bowls. Looking at the ACC vs. SEC record you have to look at the matchups, beating teams at the bottom of the conference really doesn’t mean much. There is one, only one example of a backup looking good in this scenario as well, that OSU in 2014. FSU has looked really awful since Travis went down, and they have been fortunate to have an insanely soft schedule that allowed them to finish with wins.
@evanmaguire2280 no, it won't. Because NFL bound players on both sides will sit out. Bowl games outside of the playoff are nothing more than exhibition games. Would you risk your future on getting a bowl oranges?
Thanks Rich. You're 100% correct. I wonder how you're buddy can say if Florida State were to make it in the playoffs that it would be a 40 point underdog, and they would get hammered. How the hell does he know what Florida State would do. Is he a damn swami?
Speaking of the 2010 BCS national championship, Colt McCoy got hurt in the first quarter of that game so instantly Texas was ineligible, Alabama’s win no longer counts! 😂
If a team goes undefeated and wins a power 5 conference should be in. When the Patriots lost Bledsoe and a six round quarterback from Michigan took over and the offense didn’t score a lot beat the greatest show on tuff. Just because FSU is using its third string quarterback should not be punished. The committee punished a team that still won because it lost two quarterbacks. Giving FSU UGA was doing you all dirty. Its completely set-up to make it look like you donte belong in the CFP and they are using the season-long #1 ranked team to do it. Its clear what the CFP is doing here. They wanted FSU out, so they can have their Texas v Bama re-match.
The problem with D1 college football is that the national champion has always been decided by a system based on opinion and speculation, whether it’s the polls, the BCS or the CFP. Every other level of college football has a true playoff system, but D1 refuses. So it’ll always be “old men in a room” deciding who stays and who goes, and that sucks.
Brockman saying “you can’t roll the dice and say this could happen” is wild because that’s what the committee is saying. The games don’t matter. Might as well let Daniel Jeremiah pick the 4 teams with the most NFL prospects and put them in the playoffs. What’s the point of playing the games?
That was my selection Saturday evening after all the games were played. No one could have questioned that, because such selection is very logical and not subjective and not made by idiots, like those in CFP committees. In March Madness if a team loses, it is OUT! It does not matter if it was Duke or North Carolina!
Only thing is Michigan had no business participating in any post season activities this year. So it should have been Washington, FSU, Texas and Alabam.
@alvinross1955 Why not? Because they have been accused of something that hasn't been proven. Allegations are not the same as guilt. Come on, let's be real.
So basically what this committee is saying is that winning ultimately does not matter as long as there is a better team than you. Why even bother playing for a championship in that case? Especially if the network that runs your playoffs has a contract with one of your conference rivals and they can just put them in over you and others.
Why did it take a bunch of 1 loss teams to get Cincinnati in a few years back. Winning matters, right? Oh, you mean who you beat matters? A mediocre LSU and a dumpster fire UF is part of the reason why FSU is out, too. “But they beat the SEC head to head!” Easily accomplished by playing Vanderbilt and Mississippi State, too, but no team would get credit for that.
@@sackman72 obviously that's not the case if your keeping an undefeated power 5 champion out and keeping two 1 loss teams. Winning does not matter, HOW you win and WHO you beat matters

This won't happen next year but what I'd like to see is 1. Re balance the 4 power conferences with 18 teams each 2. Top 3 from each conference goes to the playoffs 3. Top seed gets a bye like it's going to be next year 4. First round is 2nd place from one conference playing 3rd place from another. Eliminate the committee all together so you have nobody ti blame but yourself if you don't get in.

FSU could get 60 hanged on them by Michigan and they would deserve to be there more than Alabama. The reality is the 4 team playoff thing is just flawed and thank god we’re moving to a 12 team playoff bc then winning games and your conference would actually matter instead of this “4 best teams” bs which they got wrong anyways bc where is Georgia and OSU? They’re better than Texas and Washington
There are never going to be 12 college football teams with realistic shots at winning a championship but the first 5 v12 blowout will still make money for the NCAA and that all that matters.
Hey Rich life time Nole here , we got screwed. Thanks for talking the TRUTH! good luck and Go Blue...and get Jerry Cantrell back on the show, he said you were mad at him because he beat you in the football pool when I met him in March.
The saying isn’t, “That’s football.” Instead it’s, “That’s why you play the games.” FSU played and won all of theirs. If Georgia hadn’t screwed the pooch they’d be in and, I think, FSU instead of Texas. It would have been all four undefeateds.
I don’t think so, Georgia would be in and I believe Texas would have missed out. They really wanted bama in after that win (SEC Champuonship more important then every other one apparently)and they couldn’t do that without putting Texas in because they beat them, just a travesty that not 1 but 2 teams with a loss made it in over a perfect record
@@matthook5967 Agreed... see I could even get the logic of Bama being in over FSU for beating an undefeated #1 team, more impressive than any of FSU's wins. But jumping Texas over FSU makes no sense. Beating a 9-3 team by 4 scores vs beating a higher ranked 10-2 team by 2 scores does not warrant that jump. Yes Texas's win over Bama is the best in the country, but that was already largely accounted for in the ranking (if made better b/c Bama beat Georgia). Honestly what should have happened this year is an emergency altering of the structure to a 6-team playoff. If you're going to use a committee to select the teams, you might as well use the committee to select the structure so you can best fit the teams that are deserving. Also it's a load of crap that Alabama and Texas are certainly better than FSU even with the injured QB. Both have played several close games against middling competition.
Just when I started getting into college football I learn what its all about, I had no idea a comittee decided who goes to the playoffs and im not really interested anymore

They have literally said this on air daily, “You cant leave the SEC out” “Nick Saban the best coach and been the standard for a decade” “Bama has been the standard for 25 years…” none of that has nothing to do with THIS year
But then if you bring up anybody else, then all of a sudden they flip the narrative into “Well past years don’t matter.” So there’s a lot of hypocrisy going on
I wash someone would have told me the CFB had turn into the WWE so i wouldn't have wasted hours of my life watch games, that didn't matter . Also why even play to playoffs just give Alabama the national championship because that's what the script says .
I think the groans were more that FSU got left out and Bama got in. NOT that they are worried or scared at all. False narrative as far as I'm concerned.
I watched Florida State play both the Florida Gators and Louisville without Jordan Travis. They won both those games with defense, but didn’t exactly shine offensively. If the real Georgia shows up against the real Florida State in the Orange Bowl I think Georgia’s defense will totally shut down the wounded FSU offense. However, I fear opt-outs will make that game just a passionless display of Georgia uniforms vs FSU uniforms (which would ruin a game I was anticipating as highly as the playoff games). Say what you will about Alabama, but one thing stands out about this season’s Bama team; they win, be it a pitiful effort vs irrelative South Florida, or a stunning defense against #1 Georgia, a blitzkreig second half against Tennessee, a freak last second endzone catch vs Auburn… they just win. They do whatever it takes to win. I think Bama would beat FSU, too, as did the playoff committee. As for Auburn getting totally smoked by New Mexico State, do you remember Purdue’s freakishly lopsided win over Ohio State (2018 I believe it was). Yeh, stuff like that happens now and then. No one believes Purdue was anywhere near as good as OSU, but it’s like the old bumper sticker says “sh*t happens.” Go figure. Will anyone be surprised if Bama wins it all? Not me.
No ACC team beat Alabama or Georgia-so this 6-4 record vs the SEC isn't really important.Sure it should factor in...but way down the list. Just cuz Wake Forest beat Vanderbilt-or whatever...that really doesn't matter. 1 of the 4 was Kentucky-a 5 or 6 loss team punking Louisville 1 WEEK AGO-same team FSU struggled mightily against.I have no dog in this fight-Im Colorado fan.And I feel for Georgia,& especially FSU. The Noles did nothing wrong-they deserved to be in.But they just aren't the same team without Travis,& the ACC is bad this yr. It's just unfortunate we still only have 4 spots in a season where 6 teams deserved to get in.Commitee did what Id do-cuz somebody had to get left out. If FSU got in-I think any of the other top 6 would probably almost shut them out. But they still DESERVE a chance,& their defense would probably hang in there.Theyd probably lose similar to the 26-0 of the Big 10 title game. They are basically a bit more talented Iowa without Travis. I think Georgia would probably 3 peat if they got in-but with only 4 spots-they didn't deserve to get in-even though I think they are the best team. But I have to laugh at people who act like FSU is 1st team to get royally screwed-even 1st undefeated to get screwed. Before the SEC run of dominance winning titles-undefeated Auburn got hosed in 90s BCS era. Pre BCS era-was WAY more unfair than this.I think Penn St went undefeated TWICE,& didn't get a shot at nat title. And thereve been tons of teams who weren't undefeated-but would beat the brakes off this FSU team-(definitely without Travis)got passed over by teams not as good or as deserving as them. Far too many to list but the list is very long,& goes back decades.I feel for FSU,& Georgia-but this isn't close to the worst cfb screw job I've seen. And I know this doesn't help anybody this yr-or make Fla St feel better...but FINALLY we know this cant ever happen again! Every other team that got screwed in history,it was like-"sorry ya got hosed,& ya-it could happen again next yr." But not anymore-I prefer 8 teams-12 is probably too many. But 12 is way better than 4...let alone 2...let alone the pre BCS nonsense where we always knew it was unlikely #1,& #2 even COULD play & teams sometimes TIED for the title. And I know-teams will get screwed in the future. But not ANY power conference champ-let alone an undefeated 1. FSU would be in automatically next yr,& Georgia would be a LOCK as at large. Even the little guys will get a shot-their highest ranked conference champ. And Georgia,Oregon,& Ohio St would all be LOCKS as at large...along with a few teams that frankly don't deserve to get another shot-like Missouri,Penn St,& Mississippi. But better to have too many-than not enough. So who'd get screwed this yr? Probably Oklahoma-who'd probably deserve to be in over Ole Miss,Penn St,& Missouri...but who really cares? OU has 2 not great losses,& didn't even make the Big 12 title game. Far different story when in the future-some team with 2,3...maybe even 4 losses is crying they "should be #12." Not remotely the same as 13-0 FSU,or 12-1Georgia-2 time defending national champs being left out simply cuz cfb still has an archaic playoff system-that only gives 4 playoff spots in a sport with like 130 D-1 teams.
Yall are wild for thinking Michigan will beat Bama. They CAN, but Michigan has yet to show up for their playoff appearances, and there is no precedent set for the Big Ten defeating the SEC's elite. I'm happy Michigan won't have to face Georgia, but Bama can 100% match up well with Michigan in every position.
The exact reason why I can't be bothered with college football.
It is about competition. That is why FSU and Liberty did not make the playoffs. They are not competitive.
well even then, he said nothing compares to big 10 ratings. so they can't even do that right
Not a fan of FSU but they should have gotten in being undefeated and won conference championship. Alabama is not the greatest team too. They just beat Aurburn on a last second throw a few weeks ago.
FSU should just claim a title like UCF did.

@@Splenda64_inc. It's easy enough to use the Google machine:
The NCAA's official record book lists UCF under the "Final National Poll Leaders" section, but the NCAA reserves the term "National Champions" for teams selected as champions by one of the four Consensus Polls (AP, USA Today/Coaches, National Football Foundation, and Football Writers Association of America) or winners of the BCS or College Football Playoff; and places a disclaimer next to UCF's name which says that since 2014, "the College Football Playoff [has been] used to determine national champions in FBS".

LOL. I would see if my boys even wanted to play int he game. What is the point now? You are only making money for the very people that screwed you over. If I am FSU's HC and the boys said coach, we just do not care, I would kneel down every play with all back ups playing as a big FU to the NCAA.
Ignore it. The governors have no authority for that to be legitimate.
"That's football;" "That's the breaks." You say that to Georgia, saying 'they lost the game;' well we should be saying that to Alabama too - since they lost that game (at home) to Texas. SEC should be out. You don't leave out a Power 5 undefeated Champion that did everything asked of it.

I think Rich is overlooking Alabama's clutch win against the impressive Chattanooga.
It sucks.
It makes sense to take into account that current FSU is trash without their starting QB, and that they would make for dull TV if you let them in.

Brockman saying “you can’t roll the dice and say this could happen” is wild because that’s what the committee is saying. The games don’t matter. Might as well let Daniel Jeremiah pick the 4 teams with the most NFL prospects and put them in the playoffs. What’s the point of playing the games?
But he also said that fsu would get stomped. So he contradicted himself and didn’t even realize it
It should have been 1. Washington, 2. Michigan, 3. FSU and 4. Texas
That was my selection Saturday evening after all the games were played. No one could have questioned that, because such selection is very logical and not subjective and not made by idiots, like those in CFP committees. In March Madness if a team loses, it is OUT! It does not matter if it was Duke or North Carolina!
This is the only sensible choice
Only thing is Michigan had no business participating in any post season activities this year. So it should have been Washington, FSU, Texas and Alabam.

So basically what this committee is saying is that winning ultimately does not matter as long as there is a better team than you. Why even bother playing for a championship in that case? Especially if the network that runs your playoffs has a contract with one of your conference rivals and they can just put them in over you and others.
Non of this matters with a 12 team which would be here if it wasn’t for the bitching of the head of the acc whining about it
Winning absolutely matters. Going out winning against the #1 team is why Alabama is in.

2. Top 3 from each conference goes to the playoffs
3. Top seed gets a bye like it's going to be next year
4. First round is 2nd place from one conference playing 3rd place from another.
Eliminate the committee all together so you have nobody ti blame but yourself if you don't get in.

Why would any fsu player not opt out? They already said games don’t matter why bother
FSU could get 60 hanged on them by Michigan and they would deserve to be there more than Alabama.

And Jimmy Harb can't win a bowl game. So we'll see.
If MI plays as good as they did against OSU... you got a problem.
@ajw9151 lol keep dreaming. Strength of schedule 55 and Alabama is 5. They choked last 3 years. Got absolutely destroyed by tcu and georgia destroyed tcu.
@ajw9151 you would say defense is better when they play lower rated teams. Easy to make a team look amazing.
Oh this is great, Eisen taking the moral high ground, Hey Rich keep your mouth shut, you don't get to preach right and wrong when the NCAA, BIG10, and FBI are all on your campus in the same year, when you have a coach that starts the season on a 3 game recruiting violation suspension and ends it on a 3 game illegal scouting suspension. You have an analyst disguised in opposing team gear scouting teams from the sidelines, players involved in LLC's with said analyst, a LB coach fired for interfering with investigations, then when confronted your whiney admins and fanbase entertain the idea of taking their ball and leaving the conference, on top of all this, UofM has played the softest schedule of any of the 4 CFP teams. HERES THE TRUTH, UofM WANTED FSU BECAUSE ITS A MUCH EASIER GAME! SO please Rich Eisen kindly shut up and just be grateful your alma mater is even in the playoff.
Context: ACC vs SEC 6-4. Vanderbilt and South Caroling 3 wins. FSU beat #4 in SEC, beat Florida 5-7 (barely). That's 4 wins. Kentucky #8 in SEC beat Louisville ACC runner up 38-31 a week ago. Please, context matters.
The "best" had a losing record against the ACC this season
He is just upset because he knows Michigan is about to get crushed again. They were so wanting another Iowa offensive team in there 😂😂😂😂
Lol Bama could def get blown out too. Ppl have collective amnesia and forgot they needed a miracle to beat an average Auburn team
They should end their season and declare themselves national champions.
😂we can't do that but that sounds amazing! 😂
why? That wont change anything and makes them look petty
Yeah! That'll show the CFP committee.
@@DabsDad No, it makes them look like they have integrity.
Did Chris Brockman just say the BCS always got it right? Really? Hey Chris, you have a few calls holding for you...
Miami on line 2000
Oregon on line 2001
USC on line 2003
Auburn on line 2004
Please explain to them how the BCS always got it right. 🤦
Why is everyone complaining now? In 2004, an undefeated Auburn didn’t get a shot at the National Championship, UCF went undefeated a few years ago and didn’t get into the playoffs. This stuff happens all the time. It’s College Football. If this was the BCS era, it would be Washington vs Michigan in the National Championship game.
This was gonna happen sooner or later. 5 power conf n 4 cfp spots
This year makes the perfect case for the expanded playoff. The NCAA is a f'n joke. Pat McAfee hit the nail on the head.
If it were up to the SEC it would be a 12 team playoff this year. The ACC did this to themselves.
What did DOUCHAfee say?
@@thehappiestgilmore2977why does not one talk about this, it was literally the acc who didn’t want to expand it
@@harryburnett4928 They also don’t want to talk about the Michigan cheating scandal…🤫
Rich is nervous about Bama lol
Roll Tide! Herp Derp.
nobody. scared. of. sisterwives.
I am a Georgia and SEC fan and I believe that FSU could have beat Louisville 100-0 but the playoff committee wasn't going to leave the SEC out even though they should have.1)Michigan 2)Washington 3)Florida State 4)Texas should have been the four in this year
Also had we still been under BCS...FSU still wouldnt have gotten in. Itd be michigan and washington.
Also BCS left out an undefeated auburn sec champ in favor of Oklahoma who got curb stomped by USC in 2005
Rich wanted the easy game for Michigan. The dude is on something
So, you're saying that the FSU defense isn't legit?
@@quentincampbell612Didn't look so hot against Boston College and Clemson. If Dabo Sweeney had a place kicker that was decent, Tigers beat the Seminoles in Death Valley.
@@clottadams5028 ok,and how does that impact whether or not Florida State should be in the playoffs?
@@clottadams5028 ok,and how does that impact whether or not Florida State should be in the playoffs?
@@quentincampbell612nah FSU will get dog walked by Georgia
It’s an invitational based on tv ratings. It’s not a playoff
Exactly! The Carson wentz & Nick foles analogy is a perfect
If FSU was the best, the backup qb wasn't convincing, throwing only 55yrds against a Louisville team. If he did that against Louisville, what's to say he will stink against michigan?
"Nobody wants to watch a 40 point playoff game" my guy in the 9 years of playoffs there have been only 4 competitive semifinal games. Also Michigan isn't putting 40 on FSU's defense in 8 quarters
