This was on Reddit written by the woman it happened to as a young girl, so she doesn't know what her dad might have done, just that she was stalked by this man, then it suddenly stopped after she saw her dad with the gun.

@@user-tf4lk4fm7i Yeah, there's no way that he knew how many people were in the house and what they were doing in each room. This is 70s, people don't have cameras in the house so he doesn't have access to any surveillance that would give him such knowledge. So it would mean that he basically needed to be in the house at that moment literally checking the house and each room. There's just no way. He always knew all the details about everything and for him to know that he would have to regularly check the house, sneak past multiple members each time and then run back home or to the payphone and hope the same people were in the same rooms when he is talking to the father and telling him all the details. And seeing how this story came from reddit from some random woman, it's fake or grossly exaggerated.

In New Zealand where I grew up we had the White Pages which was the Residential Listings, they contained family names, addresses and phone numbers.. (Crazy to think that).. Blue Pages was Business Listings, Names of Business Owners and addresses and phone numbers, then we had the Yellow Pages which was still considered Business Listings but were more comprehensive and like an advertisement I guess.. like miniature posters.. crazy to think how much information was readily available for creeps to access..

The parents are bad parents. If you KNOW someone is stalking your child and you leave them at home alone after not even a month later….like chill. Protect your children. They are clearly still scared even if nothing was gonna happen (which it clearly did) but even if nothing came of it they are very much still scared. Who does that

You know for a fact someone has stalked your underage child and it’s been not even a month and your leave them alone at home……to me that’s bad parenting. I wouldn’t feel comfortable, let alone the child in question. Just no.
