How did you figure out that one was male and the other female? It’s so fascinating - I thought plants weren’t either or, and that’s how they propagate themselves.
You’re so knowledgeable about the scientific process of them and I always learn something new from your videos!!
These are euphorbias that I haven’t seen before, so interesting! Do you grow them from seed?
    Thank you for sharing! 💜💚🪴🌵

      Thank you for visiting!
I got the male years ago not knowing anything about it (him?), and then I bought a female. I don't have them from seeds.

@@przyrodawmieszkaniu2887 It would be so cool if you could get seeds from them!

I had five Eu. obesa plants, grown from seed. After for years they produce flowers for the first time. And all were male.

Interesting! This will suggest that the sex of the plant is determined via environmental factors. Somehow here - there are amost exclusively females, my male is very lonely.

@@przyrodawmieszkaniu2887 Maybe it was just coincidence. I sold them and bought new seeds. Now I have to wait for their first flowers. Two or three years.

@@Neidhard-von-Blaufels This is super fascinating, crocodile's sex depends on the temperature of the incubation of the egg. Something like that (what? temperature? soil? light? ... ?) might determine the sex of E. obesa.
