- May 10, 2013 - A new workout favorite of mine... going from a quick step reactive phase to gaining momentum through a flight of hurdles as the spacing widens. Love the challenge this workout presents.. it has you focusing on technique, reactive skills, and being explosive into, through and off the hurdle to gain momentum through the increased spacing to gain and maintain a nice 3-step rhythm to that of race pace.
The Workout
6 over 8 hurdles
Recovery 3-5 minutes/ reps with 5 being towards the end of workout to help maintain quality of performance. Or simply the fitness level of the athlete dictates recovery needed.
