@@VSG117it contradicts Prometheus itself because you can see a mural of a Xenomorph in the chamber where the black goo vials are. David didn't create them. They lost control of the black substance and it just spreads wherever it wants. I think the Queen came out of the space jockey as the ship was leaving and it crashed on this moon as a result.
What the last commenter said, David did not create the xenomorph, he merely discovered them and “perfected” them as we know the alien today. If you were paying close attention in Prometheus you would have noticed that there was a relic dedicated to the xenomorph on the Engineer’s ship, showcasing they’ve existed before David, Shaw and the rest of the crew landed on LV223
Just to settle a few myths running in the comments: David didn't make the Xenos. The wall of the chamber in Prometheus shows a Xenomorph. Which is there long before David ever existed. David experiments on Shaw between Prometheus and Covenant in an attempt to create something different, he's just experimenting. The black goo needs to be implemented in order to merge genetically with the host. It's in the embryo the facehuggers carry as well. If it meets a humanoid directly, it kills them. You don't get a traditional Xeno. In Prometheus it met a worm first, off their boot (watch it again closely) which is why we get the invertebrate lineage leading to the octopus facehugger thing. But guess what, it merged with a humanoid and at that point created a Xenomorph. Different lineage, same kind of creature, David did nothing but drop a bit of the substance in a drink. The Xenomorphs are the end result of evolution and reproduction which the engineers lost control of. My question has always been, wtf happened to the thing that emerged from the apace jockey?! I think it's the Queen in Aliens. I think that's where the ship was leaving from as the chest bursting happened and the Queen got away. The ship then crashed on the moon.
It's definitely not the queen since Prometheus takes place on a completely different planet. As far as the mural goes, it shows a creature that resembles a xenomorph, but considering davids whole character arc revolves around creating what is in his eyes as the perfect creature and throughout covenant the closest we get to is a praetomorph. Which is like almost a xeno but still not the same and before that it was neomorphs. So at least to me, it seems that unless david copied the engineers homework to make the perfect creature that was already created (which would undo two movies worth of character writing/ development). It would seem that david is at least responsible for 90% of the research and development of the xenos. Still so many questions unanswered with romulus and unfortunately this video and this comment section gets no closer either.
Anyone who wants to get an insight into Alien lore should take a look into the Alien RPG, which is bound to lore and has very clear statements about all these things. There is not much specifcially about LV-426, but about the Engineers and the pathogen, aka Black Goo. In the Building Better Worlds sourcebook there's direct statements about Engineers creating the Xenomorphs thousand of years ago and worship of a creature they called Destroying Angels. Since LV-223 is in the same system and basically next door, I think the derelict Engineer ship came from there and crashed on LV-426.
We really need to see the Space Jockey in the next Prequel movie, to finally confirm what many fans long suspected. That Engineer's and Space Jockey's were not the same thing, and the latter was really the key to everything. Great analysis!

The real question is what is the black goo and where it comes from and what is its purpose. Was it created by the engineers to create life and as a weapon? did they find it or created it?
The black goo in the beginning of Prometheus that the Engineer takes, it creates Life, it was the Blood of a “Deacon” wish the Engineer warship like there “God” because that was they only way for there race to not Die off. They lost there way to have children’s, they evolved. Once they ran out of the Blood(Black Goo) to create life, they created there own syntactic with there technology, and created Death and it Destroy. In the end it’s a Cycle of Mortals and “God’s” trying out smart Death.
Ive always had a theory that I never actually talked about. So, we know the Ovamorphs(eggs) are literally created by either cocoons with bio in them(humans, etc) not by a queen like Cameron says.... What if these eggs were the Engineer crew and they simply became infected with one of their Black Goo substances.. which turned them.?
Actually in the original Alien script from Dan O'Bannon which dates back to 1976 what we now know as the Xenomorph was native to LV-426 and the space jockey/engineer was simply a race of explores kinda like Kirk and Picard from Star Trek They came across this world, in which they found a Pyramid structure like the one shown in Prometheus. We really need the third movie in the prequel series to try this together and answer some very basic questions. It's not clear from the current movies, at all, if LV-426 had anything besides the derelict ship on it when it was found in the first movie. It's not clear, at all, that it was a laboratory, though you could theorize it. And even more important than that, how much did the corporation know of everything that was going on after the events of Prometheus? It seems that we're given very little, but something important that David (posing as Walter) apparently had reported back to earth after the events of Covenant. But had David (as David) reported back to the corporation after the death of Weyland in between the events of Prometheus and Covenant? It'd appear from Alien, Aliens, and Alien 3 that the corporation new SOMETHING was going on before the events of Alien. But was it just general curiosity at what had happened to the Prometheus expedition and Covenant colonization; or had they known something more detailed not revealed in any of the movies? I think even Alien seems to point to the latter, but we need that explanation.
I agree. The question is what Ash better said his programmers knew about LV 426 that made them stop the Nostromo there. And who initiated the signal Nostromo caught? Ripley said it looked like a warning instead of a SOS. So it couldn't be made by Weyland
@@kerstin4516 I basically accept that the ship crashed there thousands of years before and the signal is something the crew of the derelict set off before everything went totally haywire on it. And also if they'd discovered from David or any of their own follow-up missions about the Engineers being hostile and their bioweapons. There was a short film put out on about 2 years after Covenant that they'd sent a factfinding mission to Paradise and someone found David's lab. But we're only shown one person, and it's heavily implied that they died before they were found or got back to their ship, which opens up a whole bunch of other questions like what happened to the rest of THIS crew? Question ,was the xenomorph recovered cocooned, floating in space, retrieved before or after the events chronicled in "Alien: Resurrection" or do I have to eject that one along with Alien 3?
The Xenomorph XX121 are the “Destroying Angels”. The Engineers didn’t create them. They created the “pathogen” (AO-3959X.91-15) from the mutagenic excretions the xeno’s use to mutate biological matter into Ovomorphs and evolve into other types of xenos, like Crushers, Praetorians and Queens. The Engineers were attempting to recreate the Destroying Angels they worshipped and evolve themselves into perfect beings. This led them to create the Fulfremmen (aka, the perfected). The resulting war with the fulfremmen nearly destroyed both species. -Alien RPG Core Rulebook and Building Better Worlds “Some hives have been found to contain diluted derivative pools of Chemical A0-3959X.91-15, likely secreted by the Xenomorphs themselves and used to perform genetic alterations on hosts in order to make them more suitable for the production of the type of Chestbursters the hive needs most.” -Core Rulebook, pg. 315
We def did some learning in Prometheus. It expanded the scope of the franchise. Covenant of Trash though? Too bad we didn't get a proper sequel to Prometheus.
Gotdamnit I hope we get a film fully about the Engineers and their storyline. Fine...mention the xenomorphs..even show them. But give us the Engineers. Has so much potential. If done right it can be the best sci-fi film imho. Let Spaiht take off with it. If only lol... Not too hopeful though

Sometimes, you dont have to know the origins of a species because this ruined the franchise. Why couldn't the engineers just crash on the planet where the aliens lived, a creature capable of living in harsh environments
@@randomdaveUKI believe David perfected the being we saw in the mural. In Alien convenant we can see the experiments he did, like the neomorph which is a step before the xenomorph. I think the xenomorph we see in Covenant is not the final evolution as the one we see in the original Alien. But, this is a movie, prone to writer’s mistakes or change of ideas.
Well i guess not many things can be said since Prometheus & Covenant have already curved what's coming. Creativity is a sin according to this movies, it seems what humans tried to do with the David android series the same thing the engineers tried to do with humans. It's creativity control at it's worst probably. Walter android seemed to be less capable for creation than David, maybe humanity was a Walter - like experiment of the engineers in a far more larger and complicated scale. But if this scenario or something close to that is what is going on, then why the engineers seem to be keeping a low profile? Coming to thing of it their planet was not exactly the most cheerful place to live in. Storms that can take days, weeks & months to stop? Communication maybe wasn't exactly their thing since this planet is difficult to be traced as a planet that supports life and even more sentient beings. Was this planet the original planet they were living? Or this "Paradise" was a planet they escaped to protect themselves from something even more dangerous that was hunting them. Engineers are been described as "Fallen Angels" from Ridley Scott what could be their "sin"? Could they have conquered the three dimensional world & were ready to make the next step becoming 4,5 or 6 dimensional beings? But if this is true maybe some other entities were already there not agreeing with this development. The story would make more sense if we have in mind the "All Tomorrows”, a fascinating science fiction work by C. M. Kosemen. Maybe something similar is going on with this "Engineer - Star People".
Its just a moviefrancise... not history or something thats carved into stone in cave 10000 Years ago... im a fan of the movies but they are just entertainment. People take this all too serious and do videos of speculations what happened on LV426 or what the engineers were thinking or other shit from movies... This reminds me on history class in school... what would people think when they find this stuff 2000 years later...
What people don't understand terminator is part of the same universe and cyberdyne is one of the corperstion running earth. They create the synthetics and sent the humans off world to host the xenomorphs to finish off humanity. And perfect the xenomorphs and black goo. All Canon
I like to think of the origins of the xenomorphs as something very ancient, like the spacejockey race that were likely decimated by the xenomorphs they dicovered perhaps over millions of years ago that took place long before even that of the engineers. LIke humans on earth the engineers to me are like explorers that had a head start earlier than humans maybe by several thousand years and like the WY corporation's discovery of the xenomorph they started to experiment on the xenos for potential weapons development and bio-engineering studies. The xenos likely exterminated the engineer race when they brought some of them to their homeworld for further experimentation. Only a few of them are left that managed to escape or were not around at the time when the cataclysm occured. Now the humans are making the same mistake as WY brings to earth the xenomorphs for the same reasons. One other thing is that the spacejockey race is not likely the engineer race since the jockeys are way larger than the engineers and had a different shaped head and body structure. It is likely that the engineers in their travels discovered several derelict jockey ships and the dead crew and also the xeno eggs it contained and they were able to repair the ships for their own use and it's navigational charts may have led it to the xeno homeworld. The jockey derelict ship on LV-426 was not discovered by the engineers since it was too far away from them at the time to detect it's warning beacon.

Romulus takes place about 20yrs after Alien & 37yrs before Aliens.
i wish they would of continued davids and engineer story
-Alien RPG Core Rulebook and Building Better Worlds
“Some hives have been found to contain diluted derivative pools of Chemical A0-3959X.91-15, likely secreted by the Xenomorphs themselves and used to perform genetic alterations on hosts in order to make them more suitable for the production of the type of Chestbursters the hive needs most.”
-Core Rulebook, pg. 315
Nice vid. Just say LV 4 2 6. Four hundred and twenty six sounds weird.
Fossilized remains huh...
I am wondering if any of this you post fan fiction or mostly book and also movie info?
these AI generated videos are cool, good stuff
We def did some learning in Prometheus. It expanded the scope of the franchise. Covenant of Trash though? Too bad we didn't get a proper sequel to Prometheus.
The first xenomorph was in the prequels
No it wasn't lmfao. It was David's version.
I truly believe the xenomorphs evolved from a lesser species to defend n conquer more just my thoughts n opinions
What I think he says at the end of the video… well, the planet is called LV-426, not LV four hundred twenty six. Errrr.
i think there are secrets to be discovered on both lv-426 and lv-223/6
Look like a vanilla coated raisin 😂
*Reading W-Y company orders on screen....* Obtain overmorph sample at all cost....extra bonus if successful....ponders next move from bridge of company ship....
I think that you dont need to keep saying LV 4 hundred 26, LV-426 is just fine
Swine Ash!😮
AI script. AI narration. AI images.
And...
Romulus. Meh…. 🤷🏻♂️ Aliens 1 through 4 best ones.💪🏼
3 and 4 are dogshit. Promethus, covenant and Romulus shit all over them
Sometimes, you dont have to know the origins of a species because this ruined the franchise. Why couldn't the engineers just crash on the planet where the aliens lived, a creature capable of living in harsh environments
AI. LV Four HUNDRED Twenty Six? How about LV Four Two Six?
Really smart-ass, isn't that not the same thing ? 🙄
Hate the AI generated images man.
Maybe he'll stop being them now that he knows you hate them. Let us see your next video
The AI voice is worse.
Remember my alita battle angel vs predator idea 😁🫡
I will do it, but I need to think first about the storyline, place of event, etc..
GÊNERO: darth vader
Great video but it took me out of the vibe every time you said “LV four hundred twenty six”. Just say four two six
Same shit man LV four hundred twenty six or LV four two six, you can pronounce it as you wish
Four hundred twenty six 😂😂
I enjoyed the video but I hate the fact that it sounds like it's using AI for the voiceover.
Did the Engineers create the Xenomorphs or did the Android ???
David the Android did. I don’t think this guy has seen Alien covenant.
@@distantworlds3308 why is there a Xenomorph mural on the wall in Prometheus then?
@@randomdaveUKI believe David perfected the being we saw in the mural. In Alien convenant we can see the experiments he did, like the neomorph which is a step before the xenomorph. I think the xenomorph we see in Covenant is not the final evolution as the one we see in the original Alien. But, this is a movie, prone to writer’s mistakes or change of ideas.
If we had a good movie about colonists from LV 426 and their terrible end ...
I almost stopped watching because he kept saying four hundred twenty six
And you should...
M. Kosemen.
Maybe something similar is going on with this "Engineer - Star People".
yup deffently need a movie that takes place before prometheus
All Canon
Your source?
Damm
United states colonial marines!?!? nope just the Colonial Marines thanks!
Actually 🤓☝🏻United Space Systems Colonial Marines
Y'all don't know anything
Why use AI to narrate, sounds stupid
He shall burn all the fat on the altar as he burned the fat of the fellowship offering - LV426
The engineers didn't create the xenos, David did. As a way to play God and create a perfect being
Yea David did. Just because Ridley Scott didn't like the AVP universe and spitefully did it to make it non canon
No he didn't. Watch Prometheus again.
There's a Xenomorph mural on the wall. This is before Covenant
@@randomdaveUK you're right! I forgot about that
Alien and Aliens. 👍
All others. 🤮
This has to be written by AI. David made the aliens. This is not a mystery.
Dave didn't make the alien he copied the blueprint of the engineers
@@mikehough9818correct.
David didn't make them. The wall of the chamber in Prometheus shows a Xenomorph.
David experiments on Shaw between Prometheus and Covenant in an attempt to create something.
The black goo just merges genetically with the host. It's in the embryo the facehuggers carry as well.
If it meets a humanoid, you'll get a traditional Xeno.
In Prometheus it met a worm first, off their boot (watch it again closely) which is why we get the invertebrate lineage
So the video told us fuck all
Aliens was the best film for me in the whole Aline Universe , they need to make another action film like that again, not copy it but quite a bit of action please with a great story , want to see the next film in the time line, the next film after Alien: Covenant
