1schwererziehbar1 yeah your giving your opinion, you never answered me. Id say by now....your full of shit....but that statement just like yours is an opinion.
When something harmless is judged the same as ACTUAL harmful extremes, it frequently encourages what would be harmless behavior to become harmful out of cognitive dissonance. It was the negative attitude towards homosexuality that killed him. If he could have still value himself during his love life, he might of cared enough about himself to keep it safe.
Richard Smith...It wasn't a "negative attitude toward homosexuality" that killed LIberace, it was AIDS. This is just a fact, like it or not. I think it's a shame that this stellar entertainer has become defined by his sexuality, which really was his own business, and which he never openly flaunted to his adoring fans. Personally, I think the guy was a class act and don't really feel the fact that he was gay is relevant to his value as a beloved celebrity.
The clean strike of the keys without hitting the others at 16th to the bar, is freaking outstanding. He was a great piano player. Give him his props...he deserves it.

It doesn't happen very often but every now and then the world is graced with a wonderful talent. Liberace had the power to make us all smile and when he played the piano he made the world a better place. The world is sadder with his passing but I am sure he is rocking in heaven.
Liberace was the happiest performer. His smile and laughter were so genuine and he truly seemed like he was the happiest person. How can anyone not smile if he was smiling? It was like he could never not smile. Liberace can really play a piano and he is such a GREAT showman........I love to listen to him. I went to Nursing School at St. Francis Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA where he was a patient at one time and he told the story of how nice the Nuns were to him that he gave money to the hospital and they built a big lobby that was beautiful and you had to go through his lobby to get to Nursing classes.................what an honor it was for me to know that I walked everyday through his lobby.

Growing up in the 60s, I had seen Liberace on many talk shows. It wasn’t until I saw him in a movie about 30 years ago called “Sincerely Yours” about a concert pianist, that I became aware of his talent. He was for sure a tortured soul that had more talent in his baby finger, than most people in their whole bodies. Thanks to youtube the performers of the past are memorialized in our hearts and minds. I have enjoyed reading the comments, so I too must comment. I have followed Liberace all my life from the fifties until his death. In all that time, besides being the ultimate performer, he has been a total gentleman and great human being at all times. And he took excellent care of his mother!
When I was a kid, Liberace used to have a programme on a Sunday afternoon. My Mum and my Aunt used to sit and watch it and told me and my cousins to keep quiet. Will never forget those days, Liberace was fantastic, (never saw his brother George)

a friend did some work at his house in vegas, he said he was friendly funny he would send my friend and his wife tickets for his shows, making sure they had great seats and he always came by table after show and would sit and talk for a while.
He appeared to be a genuinely nice person. I dislike all the rude comments about him. His sexuality had nothing to do with his musical talent, and wonderful entertaining capabilities!!
Today, 2019, Liberace is long dead, but finding this video reminded me of what a really great entertainer he was, supposedly the greatest piano player whoever lived, definitely a very handsome man with a likeable personality. and Liberace was the most flamboyant entertainer whoever took stage...anywhere. Today, I enjoy watching Liberace perform, the same way I did back in the day, but even more so now...thanks to TH-cam, I get to replay this video until my hand cramps and I'm totally exhausted.
You never saw Liberace without that amazing dimpled smile and loving what he did best! I saw him on, “What’s my line” a looooong time ago and the panel figure out who he was very quickly. Not too many back then could play like he did and receive wild receptions wherever he appeared.
He was a great pianist along with being a flamboyant entertainer. I used to find it amusing that his brother George was so reserved as he accompanied him on the violin. Opposite personalities but both outstanding musicians.
He was a super, if not the best pianist and entertainer, but his best ability was like most of old Hollywood, he worshipped his audience. His talent and memory will last for many years
Oh liberace what talent you have.. you're a genius in that piano and that wonderful personality to go along with it... what a wonderful entertainer you were..you are the best piano player I've ever seen wow!!! I will say it again genius!! May you rip🥰
My Grandmother, used to watch him everytime he was on Television. It was before we talked about gay. She had no idea, and wouldn't have even been able to define the word.
People knew. They just didn't care. These days, it gets blank stares because these days, they'd make a special announcement about their private life and expect attention for that instead of for their talent.
Oct 2020 and this still lives on so powerfully, absolute talent to the fullest. I really hope liberace knows where ever he is what joy he brought to the world with a gift from god like he had. 🎹🎹❤❤🇬🇧🇬🇧🙏🙏❤❤🎵🎵👍👍🎹🎹

Its ridiculous that one of the only piano progidies of this generation is foreshadowed by him being gay and flamboyant. Who gives a shit? He was a freaking amazing piano player
He is not a piano genius like Sviatoslav Richter or Martha Argerich. He is a business genius, though. He understood his target audience really well and what they waited from him: a outrageous pile of kitsch and bad taste.
Michel Baes Although it is generally acknowledged that he had the talent to become a great concert pianist he chose a more prosperous, lucrative avenue to success that complimented his style and character
He was my early inspiration to pick up on the B-3. He amazed people for half a century and long after his death. I am pleased we still have parts of him performing in his best years.

He appeared to be a genuinely nice person. I dislike all the rude comments about him. His sexuality had nothing to do with his musical talent, and wonderful entertaining capabilities!!
What a great entertainer/pianist!
You know that he worked very hard on all parts of his act.
Very impressive, indeed.
The GREAT Liberace!
Man, Liberace was just fabulous! What an incredible person and entertainer.
Plus de 50 ans après,ont ne se lasse pas de l'exhibition de ce phénoménal ARTISTE
Put aside the controversy of his life and you have left a pure entertainment genius !!..
+Rich Palmieri
Maybe you need a lot of controversy in your life to become a genius entertainer.
These days, the mention that an entertainer is gay would get blank stares. Those days are over, no point in bringing it up anymore.
My Grandmother, used to watch him everytime he was on Television. It was before we talked about gay. She had no idea, and wouldn't have even been able to define the word.
I suspect the majority of his audience were oblivious to his lifestyle ...but nonetheless, no denying that he was a great musician and entertainer
People knew. They just didn't care. These days, it gets blank stares because these days, they'd make a special announcement about their private life and expect attention for that instead of for their talent.
Absolutely effortless and the way Liberace's fingers glide over the keys is a sight to behold.
I said it to another video of him and I'm gonna say it to this video. He is the absolute ultimate pianist!!! No one was ever or will ever be better than him. Wish he was still alive!!!
I never really listened to him play the piano before, and he's better than imagined he would be. Damn, that's great playing.
This video proves that too much of a good thing is wonderful!
LOL he LOVED saying that in all his concerts!
absolutely incredible playing!!!!
Liberace the wonderful showman, and also a great piano player, especially when he gets to the Classical part of his show.
Again, showing why Liberace was the king of showmenship!
I think he was the happiest when performing. I saw him in person and really enjoyed his show. I used to run home from school to watch his show and Bandstand. I took piano lessons back then. Miss him.
The greatest american pianist at his time, with a strong classical formation as concertist! An outstanding amazing person! Merci beaucoup from Paris France
Van Cliburn might argue with you on that.
I was a child when he died. I didn't know he was so great. True talent!
I actually grew up watching Liberace on TV and he inspired me to teach myself how to play piano!😍
i watch this every few weeks & it gladdens the heart to see so many younger people just having a look & commenting :)
liberace was amazing. i am sure he started out as a child prodigy. i heard that he actually bought the piano that chopin played on. and if that was not enough, he also purchased the piano franz listz wrote his famous songs on. what a sweet man he was and he gave joy to a lot of people through his entertainment.
What a performer and showman---and yes, he could certainly play the piano!💕
Definitely the dance swing of Liberace. Wunderbar!!!! Viva!!! Magnifique!!!
Rest in peace Liberace you always be remembered as the greatest piano player in the world and you always be remembered as the piano Elvis to me you are but you always be remembered as the best piano player in the 50 60 70s and 80syou'll never be forgotten as your name is Liberace and is God's hope will hold y your kind soul and say you are not just a good piano player you are never forgotten as the as Liberace and there's only one perfect Liberace in this world that will live forever and his soul will live at his music balloon that is the Liberace that was buried in Hollywood forever
Its ridiculous that one of the only piano progidies of this generation is foreshadowed by him being gay and flamboyant. Who gives a shit? He was a freaking amazing piano player
I agree. Liberace was a fantastic pianist, and one hell of a showman. How cares if he was gay? It didn't matter.
+Jonathan Felosi YEA I CONCUR! Who the fuck cares? I feel bad that Liberace's name is ruined just because of his sexuality!
Do you know how many pianos Liberace had? Nobody does but we all know he had organs up the ass!
I never get tired of him. Never. RIP great man.
The greatest piano player that ever lived. Period. Ask any concert pianist who's the greatest. Liberace..
He was my early inspiration to pick up on the B-3. He amazed people for half a century and long after his death. I am pleased we still have parts of him performing in his best years.
