If you are sending money to someone you have never met, you are not being scammed, you are a willing victim who isn't very bright.
100%
Where's the scam?
More like a complete idiot.
Way to victim blame
Yes n no because some times you don't know you are being scammed
All people are vulnerable. If you are so bright, next time a virus, germ bacteria takes advantage of you, ask yourself why you weren't BRIGHT enough to protect yourself better.
4 young women with no moral compass.
4 clueless boyfriends
4 maybe more
Here's the harsh truth. That Filipina that you are talking to online, most likely has a Filipino boyfriend or is talking to multiple guys. The phone scam is as old as time and is still alive. A fool and his money will soon part ways.
A fool and his money will soon part ways. I have heard that b4
Not always, some are faithful once you demonstrate commitment to her. Then, there's the other size of the equation ... many men are likewise chatting with multiple ladies
@txtworld if you reexamine my statement, you will see I said "most likely " This implies most of the time, but it leaves room for some who have genuine intentions and are only talking to one guy. But generally speaking, these girls are talking to multiple guys, especially if you meet them from a dating site. Of course, they are guys who are talking to multiple women, I'm not disputing that, but the topic of the video is about Filipinas doing scams and scammers tend to have multiple victims, which will be men in this case.
If i had a buck for every time a girl said to me i cant message u i’m using my friend/sister/ cousins phone…
@@mikesphilippineretirement We all need that fool and his money quote playing repeatedly in our heads nonstop. 😂
Simple scam playing out in front of you Mike. Thanks for the heads up.😊
it was interesting to watch
They’re certainly not stupid, Mike! It does remind a person of organized crime. Thanks for the heads up! Expert manipulators!
cute and smart will get you every time
Don't send Money Guys if she really likes you and is genuinely interested she won't ask for money.
very true
It is wise to be a “cheap Charlie”.
maybe but I can not be one
I'd rather be a cheap Charlie than be a Stupid Sammy
You fell for it eight or nine times? It's a good thing you met Janet or you'd probably be broke by now
@LeroyJenkins-nn5go LOL Sorry Mike not laughing at ya, am laughing with ya
yes and 2 times for Janet I still fall for it
Lying for money is theft and fraud, pure and simple. It’s a crime, even in the Philippines. Is the victim responsible for the criminal’s actions? No, never.
most guys will never turn anyone in for scamming them as the will have to much shame to come forward
I totally agree, Mike: But lying to obtain money is and always will be a crime.
silly comment
@@JamesIsHereRightNow Whats your point
My point is that while men should never idiotically send money to women they don’t know and have never met, doing that in no way excuses the scammers’ criminal conduct.
Theft - the taking of money under false pretenses - is a crime.
"I bought 8 or 9 phones," another adult that's clueless as a 6 year old .
When I first met my wife and offered to help, her mama said no. Quite refreshing!
Clever girls, Mike. A Filipina tried to scam me back when I was on a dating site. But she only showed me a photo of a cracked phone screen and claimed it was her phone that was broken. I asked how are you talking to me if your phone is broken? She said she's using her sister's phone. I didn't fall for that. I said that I'll fix her phone when I meet her. She lost interest in me after that.
HI Mike and Janet ❤️. These girls are slick and good at what they do. Thanks for exposing these scammers. That restaurant San Rival is delicious and the moon Cafe is good too. Missing Dumagete...😊
Miss you also Herb take care always
But who just sends a woman they never met maybe $1000 for a phone??? Are there that many desperate men around.
These guys sound more like Sugar Daddys, instead of boy friends.
being a sponsors is more like it
hahaha. so many comment and none of them make any sense .. speaking of morons maybe look in the mirror ROBERT
Good evening of course you saw a scam! And those same girls probably have 5 or 6 guys on facebook and stuff in line and they'll be going to different malls in different places poem different scams on them too. Anything for $$
it big money here
Great video .. Thanks for uploading 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for the video.
you're welcome!
Don’t think you are responsible for their happiness. If you don’t send any money then someone else will. The world is full of lonely men. I know a guy who is on benefits but still sends money to a girl in the Philippines because he craves the company and loves to hear those magic words. “ I love you”
This is so interesting and I’m absolutely impressed!! Thank you!! Peace ☮️
Impressed...that you
Hey Mike, just recently in Dumaguete, my gf has a friend who just celebrated a birthday. Another overseas friend ordered some flowers, chocolates and balloons for the birthday. Needless to say, the flowers, chocolates and balloons never showed up on the day of the birthday. My gf who realized that they are scammers, called them and pretended to order flowers. The woman on the phone said that she needed a deposit. My gf told the woman that she could meet her and give her the money. The woman showed up with a man on a motorbike and they were caught on CCTV cameras and my gf took pictures and videos of them. My gf reported them to the police and provided the police with the videos and pictures. So, scammers are indeed in Dumaguete. Take extra care and precautions whenever buying anything from someone online or over the phone.
they are in every city
If she's not right next to you on the regular and accompanying you at night, don't give money for any reason.
If you wonder if a girl did this, do this. Wait until she sends you a screenshot. Check the pixel dimensions of the image and compare it to the screen size of the phone you bought. If there’s a mismatch, you know something’s up. I bought an iPhone 13 for a Filipina, but I noticed her screenshots had the dimensions of an iPhone X. I later learned she pawned the iPhone 13 the day after I gave it to her.
All that work And what did you do then?
@@mikesphilippineretirement I disappeared for a month but then gave her a second chance like an idiot. She continues to lie and try to extract as much money as possible. My guard is up though, thanks in part to your videos. She’s not changing. I realize I probably need to move on. Will do when I get the willpower. It’s hard. She has the most amazing figure lol.
@@mrkcur ouch .Sad.. that's a P70K phone you "bought" her. She would be lucky to make that much in 3 months
So you’re saying they got my transfer! Thank god 🙏
thank you for sharing your detail information about this scam
welcome. I saw it first hand
No fool like an old fool.................not scammed, willingly giving away money.
A dollar for every time I have heard that. hahaha but so true
I’m actually leaving for the Philippines tomorrow morning. I am looking forward to it and hope to check out your town as well. Thanks for all the pointers. 🙂
Have fun!
Keep your guard up. These girls have a high level of street smarts
I had a girl ask me for money right away, and I told her, that asking for money right away was just as offencive to me, as me asking her for sex right way, There is no diffence.
thank you for sharing that
HI MIKE , Great video. I think the BEST approach to meeting a FILIPINA or other female from any country is BOOTS ON THE GROUND.
Is it possible that a FILIPINA may be running a SCHOOL for SCAMMING ?
It may be possible that the cell phone guy or girl working there let the girls open an expensive phone box , for a kickback.
Well if these scammers were here in the USA , as MIGRANTS , they would get FREE EVERYTHING...
As always , THANK YOU
GOD BLESS CIAO
not a school but they share it with friend and cousins
You will never run out of material with so many simps in this world.
I can just talk about what I have seen or been part of to have plenty to talk about
@RobertSweatman you still here
Great, They were Very Creative
Another scam?
Mike,
I joined the dating site Christian Filipino last month and was inundated with messages from Filipinas. I thought I had set a strict criteria and was communicating with several highly educated Filipinas. One Filipina in her mid-30s and stunning was a great conversationalist. After about a week she inquired my monthly income and then requested $232 for a birthday cake. Her birthday was in several days and she wanted to throw herself a party. Fairly expensive cakes in the Philippines.
I of course ended all communication with her.
Hadn’t heard of the birthday scam from any bloggers.
I am not knocking Christian Filipina site, they are constantly pulling down scammer profiles.
Their customer service is outstanding.
Cheers
Hilarious, can not believe that people will do that. Just say no to sending money if you have never met them before. Thanks for sharing this Mike. Guys need to know these things. Thanks for the video, Janet and Mike...Jim
Thanks Jim
In the West, money talks. In SE Asia, money SCREAMS!
I think they are a scammer ring. I bet no phones were purchased. Somehow the broken phone will start working again. Miracles happen.
god will take care of everything
Best way to protect yourself is to NEVER date online! NEVER become a LDR boyfriend. Dating apps are full of girls who won't turn down money from several guys. They know how to play the game and a gullible foreigner pays for the show.
Ty very much
you're welcome
Excellent video. Interesting scam.
Thanks for watching and your comment
No. I would never send money to anyone.
That is so bad that they take advantage.
some who send money sometime also try to take advantage of the girls
Well said Mike use common sense but if these girls can get 20or 50 thousand pesos out of a mug good luck to them
they keep on trying Peter
This is almost unbelievable. Bless your heart.
this one is very true
Anyone who's been there for more than a few weeks knows that this is a common way for girls to make money.
Scamming in pinas is very well and alive, and an integral part of the society. my issue is that the so called good Filipinas also know of these scams and go along with this behavior.
I saw a comment from someone who said they have lived in Asia for 17 yrs - Said Vietnam much less prone to people doing scams like this . . .
and you believe them? Really
I must say - Vietnam has a lot of scammers- scamming each other and expats-
But my experience is the women in Vietnam are very honest, sincere and loving-
And the Filapina’s are much more likely to scam a guy.
Just my experience.
just sad to see why young girls would do this. i thought they are very conservative and religious so why they are doing this is beyond belief
easy money
@@mikesphilippineretirement very true.
They are doing it because it's very easy. Conservative and religious is a thing of the past for most of the younger generation. These girls all have access to social media where they share "techniques" on how to strip the bank accounts of gullible and desperate foreigners. It's the easiest way to make a lot of money in SE Asia.
You saved a lot of guys a lot of money. Well done
thanks John
I am a Sugar Daddy living in the Philippines and my wife is a Sugar Baby. Very obvious and true. Every foreigner and filipina are also the same. Is love involved? Of course you love each other and make love hopefully every day, but for any foreigner to say he is not in a Sugar Daddy and Sugar Baby relationship is delusional.
Sorry to hear that you have never experienced real love with a Filipina
I guess we all have to harden our heart and be suspicious of these things. Thanks for a great vlog.
Thanks Bruce
It's surprising how many Filipinas don't believe in hell.
many do not. I do not believe in Hell as you call it
@RobertSweatman I think your need help in finding your way...sorry no one cares about you and you have no one to talk to so you came to my Channel and hope to make new friends
I explained that to an asian girl that tried to scam me on cripto, I told her. You will have to pay account to God for scamming people and that her eternal life will be in hell.
Since I have been here I have seen a significant divide around age 25. Women younger than that are badly addicted to their devices and social media. You would never have any meaningful conversation or relationship with them . Sex, maybe. Good sex, unlikely. A distant and distracted addict "GF", almost guaranteed.
so under 25 is just about sex so I can understand why they scam guys
@@mikesphilippineretirement So you think that older expats are coming here because they enjoy the deep meaningful discussions they have with their early 20's GF? Honestly Mike.
you have deep meaningful discussions with a 40 year old Filipina?
@@mikesphilippineretirement LOL. fair enough Mike. But I do think that older people, including Filipinas, are generally less addicted to their devices.
If nothing else don’t send the full amount make them earn some of the money.
hahaha good luck
@@mikesphilippineretirement I have done it it has worked so far
They don't have to earn anything because there are plenty of fools who'll take your place.
My attitude is they were surviving before I came along and they should be able to survive after I came along!
buying a phone is not to save a life it is for the guy to have someone to talk to
lol… that makes sense. I have had several girls message me on WhatsApp, and me wondering where they even got my number. 👍🏻
They grab it from WhatsApp, that happens to me as well
Getting tricked-up by these girls, I know this is also prevalent in the provinces of Peru as well. Not so much Mexico however. As a a guy you just need to stand your ground and tell them 'not until we meet in person'.
sound good
I've bought one phone for a Thai lady in Pattaya.
It was second hand and cheap and she definitely earned that phone 😁😁
what did she do for you? Did you scam her into sex for an old phone?
@@mikesphilippineretirement haha...no.
The most polite way to say this is....her getting the phone was in response to an extraordinary pleasant experience for me during a wonderful holiday...way back in 2007.
all sesx is transactionsl .....men ALWAYS pay for it
When getting to know them, presume 50% of what is coming out of their mouths are lies. Keep your guard up. In time, you will know if you are dealing with a truth teller.
thanks for sharing
1 of many scams unfortunately by young ladies with no morals!! They should be ashamed of themselves. Pretty pathetic!! Thanks Mike 👍. Blessings 🙏🌺🌸🌼
thanks for the comment
They are cashing in on their youth and beauty. It's the easiest way to make money there.
Depends. Buying then a few gifts and little to nothing more for a few great weeks is a great deal on a vacation. An American woman is far more expensive even if she is your "loving" gf or wife.
Wouldn’t it be nice if the guy said I will send money tomorrow and didn’t send the money.
I tell them I need ride to the bank so wait, next day they ask again and I make up another excuse.
I would have walked up to them and said shame on each of you. Remember GOD IS WATCHING YOU!!!
You bought 8 or 9 phones? Wow!
not at one time
If you bought that many phones for girls, someone needs to beat you.
you going to do that!!!
@@mikesphilippineretirement Are you joking? Because I was. But really that's being the biggest idiot buying all those phones.
Simps who send money are fools.
still waiting for someone to tell me what a simp is
@@mikesphilippineretirement too much to type. I can explain it over a beer when I am in Duma next month. :)
Haha...so funny this scam culture in Philippines
It does not matter who the girl is or who the guy is if a young girl goes with a 60-year-old foreigner she is only after money
Old + Lonely + Desperate = Walking ATM
Stay away from that area if you feel those women are full of SCAM.. Scammers are all over the world.. Be careful anywhere you go..
..mafia..hahahah
that was funny
Sad part is these young girls will never be fit for a long term relationship. They had let deception, lies to enter into there hearts and lost any and all character that a traditional filipina has. They are ruining it for the Good filipinas.
I think they help the good Filipinas as when a man friends a good honest girl he holds on tight
There must be plenty of guys in the West spending a ton of money on girls they've never met. I our province, MOST younger girls have SEVERAL online boyfriends throwing money at them. There's a reason why you see so many well-dressed girls in the malls with designer bags and expensive jewelry eating at expensive restaurants. They are cashing in on their youth and beauty. Collecting online boyfriends is their job.
they are working the system
@@mikesphilippineretirement Many sexless, desperate and gullible men enable them. Those men are the ones who created and continue that "system" ;-).
I’ve been asked, many times, by many women, from several regions around the world. I haven’t even bought my own Wife a new phone 😂🤣
I always wondered if some of the women on dating sites were reading from the same script 🤔
Christine was completely different from all of the women I met online! As we told you, in February, she never asked me for anything but my Love.
they teach that in high school. hahaha
There are plenty groups on social media where "scamming techniques" are discussed. Any girl who watches TikTok or Instagram will be exposed to it. Most of the girls are getting their "entertainment" from these apps. Go figure!
"But honey, I dropped my phone somewhere and now I can't find it. I left it on the jeepney, a snatcher took it, my sister needed it for her college studies. I had to borrow my friend's phone just to call you, but it's ok. honey, I don't need a new phone." (ah... makes you feel so guilty, di ba?) Your response: " It's ok honey, we'll just get you a new phone. (for the umpteenth time) I mean we can't chat if you don't have a phone" Correct response: It's ok honey, my other gf has a nice phone that she paid for all by herself, Bye!..😂 Lol!
funny
Some guys just want to feel pain. 🤣
or just a big heart
Hey mike, dumb question kind of not related. Do you make all your own AI art thumbnails or do you hire it out? Thanks!. Enjoy the content. Live your best life!
Make my own
hello Mike it happend to me almost i was talking to a girl in the phillepine first it was just chatting bud after a wile she start asking me for a litlle money not mutsh just some to fill up here load not knowing i did ofcours after a some weeks i ask here to video call so i can see here in real live wel here comes the exusses lucky me i am not stupit turn out she was a scammer and listen for all volowers youtube helps thx Mike for the info👌👍
greetz from holland
Mike come on dude. These SCAMS have moved from the sick Grandparents and Carabao to the latest Samsung & iPhone. Hahaha😅😆🤣😂
I think it starts with load, then a phone. and later the big ask. Step by step
I bought a new S21 before I came over recently. I also brought my still new-looking S10e as a backup, or if a girl asks for a new phone. (taps forehead and nods)
i started with 5 phones here down to 4 and I did buy 2 new ones
Sending enough load so a Filipina can chat is not unreasonable. If she asks or hints she "needs" a phone then this is not someone you want in your life.
Who is so desperate they send money to a Filipina they never met? It's simple, you can't buy love.
many try
Hi Mike, how did you feel after finding out what they did, and you bought lots over the years lol amazing how easy it is
how open the girl are about talking about it in public. I'm not shocked anymore about small scams here in the Philippines
When I moved to the Philippines I told all the girls I met that I was looking for a woman with 3 or 4 LDR. I found a few with 2. They would ask why? I told them if you already have a LDR you have your own money.
you're joking
@@mikesphilippineretirement Nope I enjoyed the money they would send. The women would spend time with me because they wanted too, not because they had to. Most of the time the LDR would never show up, if he did that’s ok there are plenty more looking for companionship which a LDR does not offer. I would encourage them to find multiple LDR’s. Some had husbands, fiancées, boyfriends, all good. Kinda like when I was in the Infantry when the Cavalry went out the wife’s and girlfriends would be on prowl, and vis versa.
Did you buy your new iPhone in Phillipines and does it have physical SIM card slots or esim? Thank you
I got the I Phone 14 Pro Max and it has a slot for 2 sim cards
Thank you 🙏🏼
As of now only iPhones sold in the US are e-sim only. Even in Canada they're still sold with regular physical sim slots
Thank you. I don’t want esim. More expensive and way more complicated.
Off-topic question I heard that the six month visa extension in the Philippines no longer exist. Is that true? Can you still get one online? I also heard that visa costs have gone way up. A good topic for your next video and information that I need, because I will be returning to the Philippines in a couple of months.
check out the live stream with Heidi I will have May 10 8pm EST.
Is not just for a phone, asking to give for anything is stupid. We all? Speak for yourself Mike. Would never throw that kinda money to an unknown. 😂
my video my words....lighten up Brain
Mike? Europe is not farther. Its actually nearer.
I'm from the most western point of Europe.
Next land is newfoundland.
It's 5000 miles to butuan.
My fastest time to get there from my door in ireland to my door in mindanao was 26 hours.
A very interesting video Mike. Well done.
That was actually very entertaining and hopefully it will open the eyes of a few guys.
Best regards to you and Janet
ok my mistake
They do this in the USA too. See: sugar babies
Hi Mike, it looks like they make a video of an expensive phone box and then get the boyfriend to send the money for that phone, but then purchase a phone that is cheaper. They keep the remainder of the money for themselves and pretend they have bought the expensive phone by showing the boyfriend the expensive box. Not difficult to Figure out! 😊 have a great day!
Nope never haha , they would ask but I would say that I’m not there and hopefully we’ll meet if not it’s ok .
good reply to them asking
The very first scam attempt. Later it was a washer/dryer, then "I need antibiotics". Both funny and disappointing.
someone who has not been to the Philippines they ask for so many other things washer and dryer is never on the list
If you're in a committed boots on the ground relationship buying a phone is one thing but to someone you've likely never met in person? Come on, that's another story and sounds like desperation to get her attention AKA simping
AKA simping
It is only a scam if they don't buy the new phone with the money. So if they are getting money for a phone they already own, then yes it is a scam. Don't share your facebook with a filipina as they have many accounts and will only show you their one account that they want you to see.
thanks for sharing
Watch out for the medical scam, papa sick in the hospital need money, need medicine, roof leaking, need money for school,
yes that is later
You forgot the Carabao 🤣😆🤣
im not a negative person but, theres not much in se asia and phillippines that i havent seen in my 10 years of living there. theres many good things about that part of the world.
yes of course
Try playing a game on them and not paying. Guaranteed they will disappear and never return
I will not play with them
If I give money to a girl, she needs to give me a very good time in return. No good time for me, no money for the girl.
Man, please stop simping and giving your hard earned money away for nothing but sweet dreams and endless hopes.
so your scamming the girl for sex with a little money. How much sex does she have to give you for you to buy her a phone...or ..do you just promise the phone and take the sex and run
Hi Mike. So how can you tell if the girl is scamming you or if she legit needs a phone? Or is your advice not to give her a phone regardless of her story/situation she is telling you. I get that saying “to give within your means” but its still a shitty feeling when you get scammed.
You can tell by going there and checking things out yourself.
boots on the ground. But it is up to you and be prepared to be scammed
Yes i made 3 times the mistake and 3 times with one girl my fist time online 6 months ago it’s like a game from them but it’s stupid on me
live and learn and when you find the one for you hold on tight
Hey Mike Id like to make a suggestion please maybe foreigners would like to know news on big things that are happening over here to learn more about the country that are thinking that coming to. Like the thing is with this week the americans are out with the philippines coast guard in the chinese are attempting to surround taiwan with coast guard boat! The americans have been taking shots at old boats out in the sea and stop blowing up chinese warship that was out of service or something outness c i think it was yesterday. And just an idea have a great week
I once had a person on Facebook claiming to be a Filipina try to get money out of me after a couple of days of talking. She told me her father is a Fisherman, but got injured and can't work, and wanted P2,000 for the electricity. I went back and forth with this, then I thought to myself this is a scam, so I blocked that Profile, then the people in a group chat on messenger tried to guilt trip me by asking why I didn't give her the money as a "Christmas gift"? Yeah, let's conveniently use the time for Christmas as an excuse to willingly give up my money to someone I haven't met in person. 🙄🙄🙄
This was the only time someone claiming to be from the Philippines tries to separate me from my money, I know better. This was in December of 2018, the same time I started talking to my ex, the one I met in July of 2019.
It doesn't matter how much money it is someone is trying to get out of you, it's the principle that it's not a good reason for you to give up your money to someone you don't know.
thanks for sharing

I had two teenagers attempt to open my backpack going down the escalator at Robinson Mall. In line at Robinson Market while in line also an attempt.
Most often it involves ladyboys taking extra long time at the checking out area. So be aware of getting bumped into. Immediately check for your wallet.
Best advice is to stop sending money until you meet in person. What's the big rush? You don't know the ladies personal habits or much else.
