When I got a hold of this record, I tried to listen to it daily till now and it is 2022. I guess I’ll be doing it for the rest of my life. I find PEACE in your songs. Thank you so much.
Pros do it to you and leave you wanting more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is awesome. S&G always sounded better to me live because it was just Paul on guitar. Especially on this song, where the studio accompaniment is a distraction IMO.
One of the greatest things about technology is the clarity of which you can now hear music - two wonderful voices that beautifully compliment one another so unbelievably well ❤️
The best duo ever. Their harmonies were unbelievable. They touched me to the core of my soul with every song. My favorite will always be Old Friends. But all their songs were phenomenal.❤
MORE THRILLING THAN HEMORRHOIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was born in '73, and I bieve the readon I have such clear memories of my life from a year old till now is the soundtrack within me. I was mesmerized by Simon and Garfunkel' s voices and songs. Even though I had no knowledge of the world or life itself, I felt like I understood the songs and their importance from a very young age.
I have to say I prefer David Bowie’s version (during The Concert for NYC). It was, naturally, not sung in an upbeat way and, as a result, was far more moving.

My favourite S&G song and this has got to be the best live performance of it!

And I don't even know the name of the girl from Berkeley I met in Barcelona in July 1968, but this always reminds me of her.

This is a great rendition. Thanks for posting it.
I love this song. I brought the original album when I was a kid 55 years ago.

This is a great live take, thanks for posting
Arts voice pealing. Just makes the song great.
Excelente. Me encanta las canciones de Simon y Garfunkel.
Excellent live version. Besides, as a guitarist myself I fully understand how difficult it is to play guitar accompaniment like what Paul did here.
Me too, very soothing, the young of today who are contemplating suicide should listen to these guys

lol
Covered by Yes in their early days. I put this excellent version and a live version from 1971 by Yes in my "Yes Live" playlist. Thanks for the upload!
I listen to song over and over. S&G's greatest song!
Great days , great times, make love not war.
so utterly sublime x
Oh my heart

The accompaniment was terrible though as far as i remember lol
@@RoughlyArtisticIt was to refer to the bleakness of the world after 911 IMHO
