A good 1911 is priceless and flawless in operation, a good clean and grease job now and then is all that’s needed. Sigsauer, Springfield Armory, Ruger, Taurus, Smith & Wesson are all good. Other 1911 manufacturers like Kimber and Dan Wesson are over priced for the same mol-spec design. Also in my opinion some MIM parts are no disadvantage.

Thanks for the detailed reviewed. I randomly found and picked this pistol up last week here in Texas. I found it to be perfect for me in its imperfections.
interesting point on the grips. I notice myself I care more about the front strap and back strap because I don't really squeeze laterally on the grip. My grip squeezes more front to back and since I cannot really squeeze with my palm without thinking about it, my grip on the side is more passive.
Just sold my motorcycle and looking to buy a gun. Came across this gun and I am sorta in love with this gun. Really contemplating buying this. Thanks for the review.

I bought one, and it's by far my favorite firearm. The balance is perfect. I love finish. I shoot this better than all of my 1911's.the curved grips fit my large hands.

very attractive pistol. It is a little sad that most 1911 clones from the companies that I appreciate heavily concentrate on 45 ACP ( which I do not like) and almost never produce 40 SW which I prefer. Fortunately they all make 10 mm pistols which I love.

Sig 1911's are pretty awesome. The trigger will smooth out with use. You really don't want a target trigger on a carry pistol IMHO. Another nice pistol!

I know my Sig 1911 TACOPS Carry is very accurate and runs Chip McCormick 10 rnd mags perfectly.
