More deliciousness, I sure do love me some sweet & Sauer! I think Sig makes some of the sexiest 1911's on the market. Plus, they are priced good, especially for the quality they bring. I hadn't heard of this one until now, and I'm in love! I have to say I also like to have a decent amount of LPI on the front strap. I think I might have to find one of these in 357 Sig, I love that round! Thanks for sharing another awesome pistol, there is nothing not to like about that beauty. That Scorpion is no ugly cousin either, but that Emperor just takes the cake!
@fumasterchu 12 Back when, I was a huge fan of the P226 and P220. Since that time Sig has put out some great products. MPX, MCX line etc. If it weren't for the P320 debocal they'd be tops.
Nice review. I'm looking at getting a fastback Emporer Scorpion. I have the Full Size Scorpion and Emperor Scorpion 1911's, and never had an issue with them. I love them as much as my Kimber Desert Warrior and SOC Warrior 1911's. The nice thing about Sig is their 1911's are pretty budget friendly with the tight tolerances and reliability of a higher end 1911 maker.
@H. Baker I agree Sig 1911s are very budget friendly with good quality even though Sig is not known for their 1911s. Thanks for watching, greatly appreciated!
@Durhamite77 I like the Nightmare Carry also but it wasn't in the store. Like you said Sigs are very reliable 1911s. Thanks for watching, greatly appreciated.
I really enjoyed your review and discussion of this 1911 pistol. I am looking to get a commander sized 1911 and it seems like a nice package along with as you pointed you a standard slide shape instead of the normal Sig shape which can make holster hard to find sometimes. Thanks and I am going to sub your channel.
I have the same gun and love it and love the weight. Dry firing isn’t going to hurt it at all. The part you referred to as the magazine release is the slide lock but great review
@Robert Little Thanks, I bet those grips great. I see people with VZ tan grips. I'll see what I'll do about the grips later. Thanks for watching, greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the review..are you still happy with it? Was thinking of picking this up..also, if you don't mind, how much did you pay for this fine firearm?
@Kevin Mulligan I still love it, it's one of my carry 1911s. The cost was 850. When they first came they were 990, 200 below MSRP. Check around, my experience with Sig is once a new firearm is out a year the price drops greatly. Thanks for watching, greatly appreciated!
@BROJAK HORSEMALE There several schools of thoughts on dry firing. Some believe you can damage or break the firearm pin if you don't have a snap inside the chamber. There are some firearms that it will happen to. Newer firearms like this one shouldn't matter but it's best to have a snap cap. Some manufacturers will say you should use snap caps, some will say no problem. Check the manual. Thanks for watching, greatly appreciated!
Had one of these awhile ago but it was grey in color miss that gun target selling it as they don't make them anymore so pissed at myself cause I always wanted a rare gun that's not in stock and it slipped threw my hands..I got a video on my page if you wanna check it out.. Anyway beauty you got

@fumasterchu 12 All 1911s should come standard with front strap 25 to 35 LPI checkering.

I have a similar version..the 5.11 edition and it is my favorite 1911 for conceal carry.
@MegaMan That's a nice version limited edition, awesome! Thanks for watching, greatly appreciated! 👍
@@KeanonGilliamSlang369 excellent review...keep it up sir.
Beautiful!
Beautiful Pistol. Yeah I like the contrast of the Tan and Black.
@Shootin' with Uncle Dan Thank you. I love 1911s
Good review. Looking to get one to go with my sig ultra tu tone.
@Ruth Ford Hope you find one soon. That two ton you have must really look nice. Thanks for watching, greatly appreciated!
I own the Sig Nightmare Carry and Sigs are very reliable 1911s...mine has about 500 rounds and zero malfunctions
@Durhamite77 I like the Nightmare Carry also but it wasn't in the store. Like you said Sigs are very reliable 1911s. Thanks for watching, greatly appreciated.

@Firelord360 That's called me getting tongue tied lol. Yes, love this firearm, the way it shoots etc. Thanks for watching, greatly appreciated 👍
Where its 4.2 inch would that still make it compatible to carry in a 4.25” holster?
@Eric Pleau Yes it would be because it's based off the commander length frame. Thanks for watching, greatly appreciate it.
Stainless Steel slide & frame. I also own one of these; I replaced grips with hogue green grips!

@@KeanonGilliamSlang369 thank you..they are around $1050 now.. probably due to everyone scooping up guns nowadays
Why would you get negative comments about dry firing it? Is it a taboo?

@@KeanonGilliamSlang369 Oh man, I dry fire mine all the time, maybe I'll buy a snap cap.
@@knifetoucher I dry fire sometimes without the snap cap to check function. Dry fire practice I use snap caps.
Sportsman's Warehouse has this in 10mm. For now, it's just a Sportsman's exclusive.
@Allan G Really, thanks I'll look into it, always wanted a 10mm
Price ?
@paul michaud When I bought mine pre pandemic it was $987 but now if I see them here and thee $1100

512TEXAS GEAR I hate when that happens. You sell a firearm and regret it later. I'll definitely will check that video out!
Wow I like it it's a nice-looking gun
@Taurus Pt111 G2 Thanks, took a while to find. Thanks for watching, greatly appreciated.
Guardian vs this???
@tomglpn Yes did a video on the two. People like match ups even though it can be a slaughter at times.
