You absolutely must have this group try a slow cooker--a larger crockpot. It is an energy saver-- both physical and electricity. It also keeps food warm once cooked.
I love my air fryer, everybody needs one. It was nice to see Mustafa eat something, if he sees what's in it, he eats! But c'mon, cousin, you cannot cook two goats in the time it takes to make fries!! LOL!!

Air friers are amazing! After I burned my hands off (2nd degree not completely off lol) a few years ago in a kitchen fire with oil I got an air frier and I use it almost every day. I vastly prefer it a microwave for reheating leftovers as well!

I had opened my front door as I came down the stairs, after grabbing the wok of oil and it igniting on me and burning my hands I ran a couple steps and yeeted the entire pan out the open front door into the snow. I then went in and stomped and smothered the rest of them with towels and my feet.

They design air fryers with a bucket like a deep fryer so that you can throw in a whole pile of food, but it just doesn’t cook well so you end up needing to lay everything flat in one layer leaving on,y a small surface area cause it’s a bucket. Instead, get an air fryer that’s more like a toaster oven, but with the fan above the top elements.
I have both types. I like the bucket type. Its smaller area and cooks faster. Just have to pull bucket out and shake food around, flip it. Then put it back in. Then everything gets cooked more evenly. Even when cooking on a flat surface one should rearrange the food half way thru the process.
They also make one with a rotating basket in it. It's great for doing a small batch of something, and it cooks very evenly because it's turning the whole time. I still prefer the bucket kind though. Just give it a shake half way through cooking.
@@nateman10 Thats a good idea! I have a slicer for veggies and stuff. Can slice potatoes, make potato hash also. But still need to peel prior. Unless i want the skin included -which is good on a baked potato, but not necessarily what I want with mashed or hash. I might have to look for a apple peeler! And might be helpful prior to juicing apples. Maybe less mess.
@@ambera4002 I have a egg shaped air fryer and a PowerXL multi device. Its a microwave, airfryer and toaster oven in one. I end up using the egg shape one more often. Easier to prep and go. With PowerXL. Have to use a baking cooling rake like shelf. And while it works, its larger than egg air fryer so takes longer to heat up.
I’m so happy for them. Hoping they can use in their homes. I’m learning and enjoying our air fryer that my husband and I received at Christmas 2021-from our son. I think it’s wonderful that you continue to bring new technology to the participants

Micromatic! That's a Chinese brand that's become common throughout Asia. They started by selling those multi-colored giant umbrellas commonly found in public markets. They're not the best when it comes to quality, but they're very affordable. Air frying is a godsend for many people. If you can afford one, get one, it's a wiser choice over frying although some foods are still better when oil-fried.

@@chefnedarque Yes, definitely! In fact, if food is overcooked in an air fyer then it actually becomes way too crispy. If you like your food crispy, an air fryer is a must have.
The funny thing is that air fryers/convection ovens are to some extent just a modern version of old-fashioned hearth/chimney cooking... it's easier to get a consistent temperature, but it's the same idea of getting hot air moving over the food at a steady rate without directly touching the heat source.
