- I review my ownership of a 2021 Gen6 Kawasaki ZX10R. I talk some of mods I've made, reliability and satisfaction with the motorcycle leading into street and track content directly comparing performance to other bikes. This bike was purchased during Covid19 pandemic and options were limited for both the bike and upgrades. Initially i tuned this bike with a Power Commander 5 and an Arrow 3/4 system composed of a muffler and link pipe. Bike made 168hp on the dyno and though restrictions were in place the bike rode well aside from some throttle jerkiness. Rolling into 2022 Woolich software opened up tuning options and more exhaust and other parts became available. I elected to use the M4 full system in stainless steel. USA made and a bit more affordable than Titanium. Bike tunes smooth and over 200hp on dyno achieving that standard most strive for with modern liter bikes. Iva added crash protection, rider fitment parts and a host of cosmetic updates moving into 2023. Stay tuned lots of comparative road content of the bike in a slew of different situations.

Looks awesome! I’m surprised you don’t have case covers too. Really appreciate all you and Ricardos knowledge and help with these Gen 6 bikes! You are helping a ton of people!
Elected not to at this point...yet.
Nice work Mr Hand
Looks awesome 😎
Really glad I found your channel. Value for money and reliability keeps bringing me back to the ZX10R.
Feel in love the leaked 2024 all black model and have watch almost all your ZX10R content, best I’ve seen, really inspired me to seriously looking to pull the trigger on that model.
Question how many years do they typically run a particular generation, this case gen 6 before you think they’d release gen 7?
Hard to say. The bike has been great from Kawi. I would say it has a few more years of life left.
2021-Present Gen 6
2016-20 Gen 5
2011-15 Gen 4
2008-10 Gen 3
2006-07 Gen 2
2004-05 Gen 1
good content right here bro, really solid
More to come!
That's a clean bike. Nicely done.
Thanks!
Good stuff
Thanks man. Will only get better once spring comes and stays and i put together some good on the bike content.
What sprockets and chain specs did you purchase? Thanks
Do you have any tips on how I can make this bike more comfortable to ride??? Always wanted to own a superbike but man after few hours of riding my back and right knee are killing me. My previous bikes were all naked and the seating position was upright.
Rearsets are typically a good start. Can lower them and move forward or rearward some.
Babide i dont know the spelling i think from dragonball 😅 ride safe man
How many m8les on it?
Can you please share the information about your rear seat cowl, and the vinyl decal you have on it. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!! 😊
Inline4designs did the logo. Cowl off ebay and paint from Color Rite.
I'm not a Kawasaki lover, not a hater either, it just wouldn't be my first choice but... Yours looks nice. Really nice. Especiallllllly with M4 can (Leo is another one to go with ZX10R).
Good looking bike. 👍
Thank you. Indeed Pro and Cons to each platform. In end I have settled on the Kawi and am generally satisfied.
why this wouldn't be your first choice???
Hi,
Good bike and good job. What is its mileage.
6k
do you have a link to the knockoff mirrors? Been trying to find a pair that don't have absolutely awful reviews
I will try dig one up
More information on your seat cowl please. What eBay supplier did you get it from? Does it rattle? Where did you get your decal from your seat cowl is better than the Kawasaki original well done
It's an ebay one I painted and had the decal custom made. It doesn't rattle and color Rite Paint is perfect match
May I have a link please?
@@cain772 for cowl or paint?
Mate you have missed the biggest upgrade for your bike. Get light wheels, you will see how much more nimble it makes the bike feel. The stock wheels are cast anchors.
Have had light wheels on my RSV4 and Panigale. Perhaps for expensively track use one could pick up on benefits of such in chicane or esses, but for street use especially in Michigan USA the cost of them simply not worth it (to me). $2,500 is a good many sets of fresh tires that I can feel. Now on a flip note I will agree the stock wheels look like shit. Hahaah
Did you change the sprocket sizes?
No I did not. I find oem ratio good all around.

How many miles on it?

I have sc project on mine and it is too damn loud!
Yea, I started with an Arrow....off it went, lol
Really appreciated you’re knowledgeable experience & breakdown in details of all your videos, have a 2023 ZX10-R that I’m trying to get Dino & flashed can you please send me Ricardo’s address & phone number to shop in New Jersey Thanks greatly appreciated.
Motor Mall is the shop
@@NoBSZone Thanks greatly appreciated looking forward to all your great content & videos on the Gen 6 Kawasaki ZX10-R keep up the great work 🙏🏼
So if you had to do a mail in ECU flash who would you go with if you can’t say here I’ll give you my email address.
I was going to go with Chris Moore or 2 wheel dyno works
I did the BT Moto BS before not really wanting to go down that road again. Money making scheme.
Thanks again
I really push for going to a tuner. But from things I'm seeing from Nate I would point you his direction. There is mote than just running 100% etv to get a number and Nate gets important of on on throttle being a track person.
Keep in mind I understand it's a business but many tuners simply won't do a mail in. The two I'm directly and indirect involved with will not. All that said...hell make a road trip...a vaca out of it and schedule a tune with a reputable tuner. Hope that helps
@@NoBSZone thanks for the info, I completely agree with going to a tuner there is nothing near me I would have to go to LA but their 4 hrs from where I live in Visalia 40 miles south of Fresno.
I have more mafia flash on my R1 and I can tell it needs to be better dialed in. Mail in flashes are impossible to be perfect as elevation changes and all bikes are different.
