    ABSOLUTELY AWESOME video!!!!!
    I knew how to taketh the bolt assembly , and the extractor, but not the rest.
    I needed to take mine apart because I was having rounds hang up on the cycling of the action.
    With your video, I was able to replace the carrier (solved the issue), put in a brass follower, and know how to install a safety when I find one (mine is a JM stamped 1894 in 44 Mag/Spec from '92 and the previous owner put in a safety delete that looks like a screw on both sides).
    Again FABULOUS video!!!! I hate "help" videos where someone is "rambling" before doing it. LOL

      Thank you very much for the kind words David. I'm glad I can help you and I'm glad there are people like you on this planet who appreciate my work.
      My Marlin is also JM stamped, and it was produced in 2009, chambered in 357 magnum. Enjoy shooting your Marlin and thanks again for your kind words.

    Well done, just got one of these fully disassembled. This will help a lot to put it back together. The kitty was a nice touch! (Mine love to help out, which can result in missing parts!)

    Nice riffle, and thank you for the great video! It looks like u trimmed your mag tube spring, I've been thinking of doing this to make my 1894 easier to load. I've also tore out my loading gate and pried it a little to weaken it, it seamed to help.

    • @RustyWynne
      @RustyWynne 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +glockbenelli1 The carrier assembly has a riveted pin. Mine broke/came out. So I have to replace the carrier assembly. As it turns out I can't get just the pin/spring. I have to replace the whole carrier.

    • @CROSSFIRE_TACTICS_SOFIA
      @CROSSFIRE_TACTICS_SOFIA  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Check brownells.com - they have part for Marlin rifles. Where are you from my friend?

    • @RustyWynne
      @RustyWynne 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +glockbenelli1 I saw that... however, this part is out of stock. I found the manual. It has a number to call for parts. I'm going to give that a try. Thanks for the pointer though.

    is the "blot locking block" aluminum? Iv had issues with my henry with that and the two-piece firing pin. Sent it to Henry and still hasn't fixed the issue after replacing the aluminum block and the two piece firing pin. constant missfires

    • @CROSSFIRE_TACTICS_SOFIA
      @CROSSFIRE_TACTICS_SOFIA  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The whole block is made of steel ...I shot the original two-piece firing pin for a very long with no problems! I replaced it when it broke with one-piece pin to increase my shooting speed. I also replaced all springs with Wolff Rifle Performance Pak.

    Nice video man! Hey I just bought this rifle new and the trigger has several milimeters of play back and forth. No matter whether the gun is loaded or unloaded, cocked or uncocked, it is wobbly. Is this normal for that gun? I mean it still shoots fin, but it feels kinda cheap...

    • @CROSSFIRE_TACTICS_SOFIA
      @CROSSFIRE_TACTICS_SOFIA  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is nornal for that rifle.... do not worry! There is aftermarket trigger called "marlin happy trigger" by wild wesr guns, but it is very expensive..... shoot your rifle and have fun with it.... if some day you got an extra money, buy a happy trigger and that's all. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment. Watch this video, it is mine also.... th-cam.com/video/BjHXoHzKl8s/w-d-xo.html

    So there is no barrel tenant under the barrel band on the wooden forearm? Just the screw for the band that runs in the channel that’s in the barrel?

      Marlin stopped making these in .357/.38. You can still buy the 1894 in .44 magnum.

    Is the cork on the lever a trigger stop?

    • @CROSSFIRE_TACTICS_SOFIA
      @CROSSFIRE_TACTICS_SOFIA  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it is............This is a very ugly thing but it works. This ugly piece of cork eliminates the overload of the trigger and improves my accuracy. I tried it for a few weeks to make sure it works and I replaced it with adjustment screw made by me.

    • @CROSSFIRE_TACTICS_SOFIA
      @CROSSFIRE_TACTICS_SOFIA  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hahah....... yes it is..... This ugly piece of cork does a great job. I stuck it on the trigger to figure out can I increased accuracy of the rifle, if I eliminate trigger over travel. This ugly thing did a great job. I used it for a few weeks, and then I drill the trigger and set adjusting screw on it.

      What is JM stamped???

    • @22lrmarksman18
      @22lrmarksman18 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      NUCLEAR STUDIO if it has a “JM“ stamped on the barrel it just means it's an original Marlin. Back in 2007 Remington bought the Marlin company and all the Remington made Marlins don't have the “JM“ stamped on the barrel. It's just a way to tell if it's an original Marlin or a Remington made Marlin

    • @22lrmarksman18
      @22lrmarksman18 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      JM stands for John Marlin

    • @CROSSFIRE_TACTICS_SOFIA
      @CROSSFIRE_TACTICS_SOFIA  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh, I did not know that! Thank you for this information! In Europe, we know far less about US weapons, than the Americans and that's normal to be that way.
      So, I checked my Marin and got a JM stamped on the barrel near the receiver (two very small letters that I had not noticed until now). The serial number on the rifle starts with 91 and it was produced in 2009 apparently! Thank you again for revealing the secrets of my Marin for me.
