  • This quick installation video shows users how to take apart your Marlin lever-action rifle so that you can install the Ranger Point Precision Marlin Trigger.
    Drop in Marlin lever-action trigger reduces trigger pull weight, removes flop; broader, flatter trigger face and angle for a more natural and comfortable trigger pull.
    * Approx 3.5# with factory hammer spring
    * Enhanced one-piece trigger's face is .080" broader, flatter, and mildly serrated for a non-slip, comfortable pull
    * Improved trigger face angle for a more natural pull
    * Eliminates infamous "Marlin trigger flop"
    * Precision cut, nitrided tool steel sear for lifetime durability
    * Your choice of 3 hard anodized trigger finishes-- silver, black, and red.
    Marlin 1894 Calibers: .218 Bee, .22 Magnum, .25-20 Winchester, .32-20 Winchester, .32 H&R Magnum, .38 Special, .357 Magnum, .41 Magnum, .44-40 Winchester, .44 Special, .44 Magnum, 44 RIPSAW, .45 Colt

    Very good takedown demonstration. You are a braver man than I disassembling a rifle on that picnic table. I guarantee I’d lose something…

    Great job doing this video. Precise, to the point with no added BS,' ummm's' aaa's, eh's etc. Nice that the camera was with you every step of the way.

    • @RangerPointPrecision

      @@lessummers5738 Yes! The Marlin 30AS works with ALL of the same parts EXCEPT the forearm uses an end cap vs a barrel band.

    Excellent video. Could you have also replaced the loading gate without removing the bolt?

    Great video. Watch it all the way thru first if you want to use a bit of lock tite. My trigger is much better, similar to new bolt actions.

    Is this process applicable to the Ruger Marlins?

    • @RangerPointPrecision
      @RangerPointPrecision  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Very much so. We've only seen the trigger have issues in the super early Ruger made Marlins. Now, they're golden.

    Hey Ranger Point,
    Are guys gonna do a marlin conversion for the 350 legend?

    The cross pin that holds the trigger shoe to that tiny spring fell out out my trigger. Now the trigger shoe flops around just like the stock one. It's not even press fit in. Just a very loose fit that relies on that tiny little spring to keep some tension on it. There's gotta be a better design, guys. Why not make a one-piece trigger? Why does it have to be two pieces? Or use a stiffer spring so that cross pin doesn't fall out. Or use a roll pin so it stays in tight. I think a one-piece design would be better though. That would eliminate any flop fore/aft AND it would eliminate any trigger takeup AND it would eliminate complexity AND it would eliminate any risk of the sear/trigger shoe separating.

      Hello, the design of the Marlin makes the two piece design necessary. We can fix your trigger if you mail it back in. Email us at support at rangerpointprecision dot com.

    Is this the same process for the 1895 SBL 45-70?

    • @RangerPointPrecision
      @RangerPointPrecision  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yep! All Marlin centerfire rifles (336, 444, 1894, 1895, etc) use the same trigger.

      @@RangerPointPrecision thank you very much for the quick reply! So it would be the same exact trigger replacement for a 336 Dark series 30-30 and an 1895 SBL 45-70? I notice the website says that the Wolf hammer springs are not in stock. Do you know when they'll be back in stock?? I'd like to swap both the hammer springs and triggers in both Marlins. -Alex
