How would resetting the ECU back to stock work after a MAXD out map has been installed? Do you just install the original file again as explained in 5:30 onwards?
Correct - for most cars you can just use the FULL ORIGINAL file to flash a car back to stock (as that is a stock map) - and the car will be returned to stock. Some models do require a recovery file, but this isn't too often.
Hello, i will receive MAXD Out Flash Programmer for my Ford Fiesta MK8 1.0 95 hp 2020 today, and i would like to know if the after reading the ECU stock file, is the car able to drive again waiting for your email containing the new remap file? Hi guys, I have the 2r maxd out kit, with 2files, I also have the original file, I don't daily drive with the 2r file only if I track the car or drag events, so majority of the time the car is just on the stage 2 file, so when I change between stage 2 and stage 2r file, must I load the original file first and then the 2r as for about a year now, I just load the 2r file when I need it and then just load the normal stage 2 file when I daily drive the car
Hello, if you were sent just the 2R file that means your ECU was on the same calibration to our remap files, so no need to change it. 95% of cars we remap have a different ECU version so they get 2 files instead of 1

1) Don't hold the clutch and press the start button (igniton on), press again without pushing the pedal = igniton off.
When you read the cars ecu at the start the 2 files that it gives you is that the original?
After you download the ecu file and send it off can you still drive the car and how long is response time roughly
Yes you can, and usually 24-48 hours, some custom files, or files for newer ECUs may take a little longer

Correct, the full original file you receive from us has to go on first before the map file.

I was only sent the 2r file and not the original? So I thought f it and put the 2r map on. Everything seems fine

How can I go from Stage 1R back to the Stock Map?
Install your original map, or e-mail pumaspeedfiles@yahoo.com for an original file. Include your order number and a read of your ECU.
Can you not get this fitted in store?
You can yes, we can do workshop fitted maps, or we can send the tuning boxes out for people to do this at home
