seen you cutting that exhaust had my arse twitching as i knew it was going to kick back, had a boy work with me using a 9" angle grinder with no guard kick back and hit himself in the throat, from that day it's always been safety first

Great video, there are very few videos on TH-cam showing this process. Crazy that the standard exhaust is in one piece from the cat. I just swapped a cat on a 1L MK7 Fiesta absolute nightmare on axle stands on the front drive. Its done now and passed the MOT though so all good.
I own a 1.0 Ecoboost fiesta. Moving onto the ST scene in October once my insurance runs out. Can't wait to add mods like these
I have just got delivered 3x power flex bushes for the hangers , Mountune cat back Been on for 3 yrs but notice the rubber on original is flexing to much now knock knock ? Who is there ? Banging 😂
Mine started doing that, swapped the 2 at the backbox because that was where the sound was and did nowt. Got the one at the cat changed and it's made a world of difference.
Be a bit worried about the closeness of the top of the tail pipes to the bumper. My Mongoose tailpipe gets proper hot and I wouldn't want it as close as this for fear of melting the fucker. Great vid again Steve and loving the dog shit at 12:53 🤣💩💩💩

I paid for a cross over pipe for a 2016 1.0
eco boost pipe for a focus, 1 vac pipe was
on a wrong angle, the over vac pipe had weld
in the hole and prim and sec hoses just fit.
I had too rework an expensive part. Avoid

Hi , that happened to a mate of mine, the exhaust grabbed the grinder disk and spat the grinder out and cut straight down his jaw and through his wind pipe very lucky to be alive
Thats very worrying. I use a face shield but it could still cut through that. I don't think il use it again on an exhaust.

Do you know what diameter the standard cat is? I have a Mountune sports cat which is a 2.5" exit and wonder if I'd need the converter gasket like you used. I assume the Milltek is a 3" system, hence the issue?

Be careful with the welds, I've had 3 miltek systems and all failed at the welding

Halfords black Ford exhaust rubbers are nice and hard I have two fitted to the back box on mine
I used them on mine but they started perishing pretty quick
