Some of my fondest memories as a kid were the swap meets and antique tractor shows. Was like Disney World for a farm kid like me.

    Toby
I remember in 2010 when we were in MN, I read a newspaper article about unusual extended warm weather in October and how it could so quickly change overnight. The article compared the then conditions with a similar October about 20 years earlier when a serious cold snap trapped so many unprepared and several people died from exposure.
Hence the rule in MN: " Never go out without your coat, your hat and your gloves. "
Best regards from Albion Park, NSW, Australia.

Glad to finally meet you in person toby! The Co-op in the early part of the video actually came from just down the road from me that was sold by a family friend that recently went to the nursing home. I did manage to snag the PTO shaft for my 10-20 on the way out of the show grounds, had a great time despite someone coating my truck with mud from getting stuck beside me. 🙄 Already excited for next years swap meet!

Swap meets are a blast. Used to make the 4 hour trip west over the mountains to the Lebanon Valley Speedway swapmeet every Halloween weekend. It was the same deal, saw everything from 80° & bright sun to 15° & snowing. Had a lot of memorable trips from 8 people, a quick change rear & a pile of body parts in an LTD wagon to disassembling & packing a whole center steer modified into a 1/2 ton pickup. Good times for sure!

It was great to meet you at the swap. I can't say I've seen anything like that weather for the few years I've been going to Le Sueur, but the rain, the wind, and even a belly flop in the mud aren't near enough to scare me away. There's always awesome stuff to look at and purchase, and even greater people with unique stories to talk to. I'll definitely be back next year!

Mud, wind, and lots of rain, all contributed to a LOT of fun! We found a few treasures and got to meet some nice people, we'll be back. Keep up the great work, we really enjoy the channel.

I think if I remember right the Moline plows had the solid D-Ring on the plow and the trip hitch actually bolted to the tractor drawbar, which was opposite to most models of plows. I could be wrong though.

That "JD" sprocket is not exactly from the Martha Stewart Collection, but it looked like it would hold the heat fine on a windy, cold day. Not so practical for backpack camping. I loved your exchange with the guy at the gate. He yelled 'Squatch" like they used to yell "Norm" on Cheers. It's always a good day when you meet someone new and you're able to have a chat and a laugh.
