What I admired most was when Dyson was talking to the brothers about their black sisters. It's true that black women have always been in their corners. Black people have been voting our interest since we could vote. Thank you Dr. Dyson for explaining that to this show. Charlamane clearly doesn't have a good grip in civics, history, or politics, he comes off as emotional, and not a critical thinker. This is where I am. Registered independent because I don't want the Democrats to see me as a vote in the bag. I'm hesitant to enable a Trump presidency as a protest, but we're getting to the point where we need more pressure on Democrats.
Minimizing black folks voting choices to "swag" and "letting rappers out of jail" is superficial, offensive and belittling. Black people are constantly told to vote for democrats while our material conditions have yet to change. I don't support Trump or most Republicans but Democrats aren't above reproach. We need to continue to challenge them and make them EARN our votes. The fearmongering is old and tired.

MED is 65. What are we going do when people like him go to glory? He had Candance Owens, Nikki Haley and others on his show - people who have said or done things detrimental to black people and YET he could not give an intelligent response or pushback.
