It’s not about hogging the ball, it’s about who has the dominate comfortable forehand side (in the case for Blake). It’s easier if the ball comes through the middle for the righty forehand volley to take it. For Jack’s case I don’t see him doing that that much, plus he’s always been known as a good doubles player and volleyer.
I think singles is a little more exciting to watch. Doubles always turns into these dink fests and although not bad when playing it isn't fun to watch.
When the score was 8:10 and Sharapova and Blake were serving, they weren't given the point to make it 8:11, but the game was simply continued so that Graf and Sock made it 9:10
Pickleball pros don't make much. The number one player makes around 2.5 million a year with sponsorships, the number 1 female surely is close to 2 million. But 3-5 are probably lucky to get $200K a year. Lower than top 10 is lucky to break even.
Of course bcoz they are being paid to make pickle ball more popular. At the end, the pickle ball players might earn more if the sport becomes more popular

This is tennis for kids ,l have nothing against it to use it for kids ,my opinion as former proplayer! Padel tennis is the same but it's much faster then this and u need more skills to be good! 😂
