I still think the 4060 is the way to go, but if money is tight, the 4050 would suffice!
Currently have the ASUS TUF A15 RTX 4060 model
Was a little more expensive than some of its competing models BUT it's a surprisingly balanced powerhouse that does many things I want it to do, amazing battery life and decent performance in general. I mean there may be laptops of a similar or close price range that might have better raw performance but it fills many niche requirements I need it for, and it's been pretty awesome to tune for temps and performance

Im thinking about buying the Lenovo Legion 5 slim 14.5" OLED with the 7840hs and the RTX4060 1TB. My only complaint is that it uses soldered ram and can't upgrade. But I can order with 32gb instead of 16gb... Best Buy has it on sale for $1049 (but the 16gb model)

Hello brother I want a laptop to take to university and gaming too, I dontcare much about weight but battery backup is imp so which lap should i buy IdeaPad gaming 3 16gb ryzen 5 6600h rtx3050 for 58k, acer aspire 7(2023) i5 12450h rtx 3040 for 60k or I'm getting asus tuf f17 (2022) 16gb 1tb ssd i5 11400h rtx3050 for 40k. So should i invest around 18k-20k more and get the new laps or I can go with tuf I heard battery backup of it is very very bad. And I watched a video of aspire and the gaming test wasn't good cuz of tgp so if there's no battery backup difference in IdeaPad and aspire I would like to go with IdeaPad because of gaming performance. Better to chose Bravo 15 with R7735HS for overall performance. Video/photo editing (well on external display cuz sRGB space) and a bit higher FPS in CPU demanding games.
I have one and except display isn't good for serious graphics work it's fine piece of balanced HW and battery life.

hey bro , you have 2 vids about this laptop , in one of them which was recorded 10months ago you showed that this laptop would run forza 5 with no dlss no fg no rtx , only 92 fps , but in this video yoy showed that the same laptop would run the same game with rtx on 92 fps agaaain !!! im suspecion about honestility in your work. !
Forza horizon ray tracing is included in preset, it automatically turns on according to graphics preset like upto medium settings it turns off at high settings it sets at medium, on ultra and extreme settings it sets to high and ray tracing was on in that video also, check settings in old video carefully
