When it comes to classic martial arts film and even that culture and era of HK martial arts films in general, it doesn't get any better than Bey Logan, he was there, he lived it. I was so pumped to see this interview !
Well, I never really doubted that an undergroud fighting tournament could exist, I just doubt the scale(thousands of participants) and that Dux beat 300(or whatever his claim is) opponents in a row, it's silliness.
Yeah I agree. The tournament was more than likely did exist. The record that Dux beat 300 opponents in a row, was clearly not. Nobody could do that, even if there were tons of records. Heck, not even the great Miyamoto Musashi beat 300 opponents during his time.
So the actual “kumite” in Hong Kong, the way that Bey Logan described it, looked more like the underground fights in Danny The Dog (aka Unleashed) and the Channing Tatum movie, Fighting. Basically underground fights in local spots where people can bet on.

It was brought to my attention that another long time Hong Kong resident, one Dick Bleeder, has come out to state categorically that no events similar to The Kumite were ever held in Hong Kong. This gentleman has lived here longer than I, but doesn't speak or write Chinese, has never practiced kung fu, never had any real involvement with the local underworld and doesn't even know that many people in the local Hong Kong film community. (At least, none he can persuade to sit down for a video interview....) In the wake of my discussion with David, several kung fu players from the era have written to me to corroborate that these kinds of informal underground matches did happen, and we know that Benny Urquidez took part in one. Of course, these events were not called 'The Kumite' and were not held in anywhere that looked like the tournament hall in 'Bloodsport'. As to why more people haven't come out to talk about them, they have, but in Chinese (which Bleeder and his buddies don't speak). I never heard confirmed reports of any foreigners competing in these illegal matches, but it's always possible. The late Roy Horan was involved in a 'death match' that was arranged to take place at Golden Harvest studios in 1977. Producer Ng See-yuen booked a stage for a ten-minute bare hand match between the Korean Wong Jang-lee and local Chinese kung fu fighter Cheng Kei-ying. Both men signed 'Fearless' style waivers stating that they would not hold the other responsible for injury or death. The match was only called off after Cheng's wife got scared on his behalf and called the police. Do you really think this was the one and only time in Hong Kong martial arts history that such an event was staged? Looner can say what he likes about me (behind my back), because I'm not that important of a figure, but please don't insult or comment on the history of a Chinese martial community that you have never been a part of.
Wow Mr. Logan. I’ve been a massive fan of Bey since late 90’s/early 2000 He used to do audio commentary on the Hong Kong Legend dvd’s and Cine-Asia and the US releases his (inside) information about the actors film’s location behind the scenes was amazing
With all the madness going on in this world, I never thought it was too crazy that there is a kung fu tournament lmao. We have the UFC and various other things these days that are pretty much a corporatised kumite. If you watch older UFC where it wasn't commercially known that BJJ was so strong in the meta, and it all changed, it was exactly like a kumite.
There is real footage out there of Saenchai doing illegal kickboxing in Thailand. I'm willing to believe the Kumite is real. I heard stories that some young Japanese grandmaster beat 100 dudes by himself. Heard Mas Oyama took part in the Kumite too and he would kill people regularly (he invented kyoukoushin karate and was known to have a punch so strong it would cause permanent internal injuries and death) and it's these stories I don't really believe lmao

According to Frank's accounts, "The Kumite" was held in Nassau, Bahamas in 1975, not in Hong Kong like we see in the film. If that’s the case it would’ve had nothing to do with the Triads or Hong Kong. I don’t doubt there were underground tournaments that may have been used for recruiting purposes but that’s not what Frank has stated.
I agree that Frank never participated in any underground fights, but the story Benny the Jet tells reminds us those illegal underground fights are for real. They are out there.

Frank Dux was basically the early prototype of Steven Seagal. Also it ironic that Bloodsport that was supposed to be Frank "real life story" played by JCVD who actually is believable martial artist and even challenged Steven a fight after talking smack about JC (which Stevie chickened out)
Yeah like Seagal was choked out and shit himself ? Was all a lie, just rumors that get passed around as true stories. Gene Lebell the guy who everyone thinks choked out Seagal even admitted it was a lie one time and he has been known to make up lots of stories throughout his life. Part of his act especially when he was a professional wrestler. What is funny is everyone online wants to bring that up about Seagal being a coward and backing down from JCVD but no one mentions the time JCVD got his ass kicked in a club by his former bodyguard who was a boxer/martial artist as well as a biker in the Hell's Angels - Chuck Zito. One punch and JCVD was on the floor. Everytime JCVD tried to get up he would hit him again to drop him. He eventually curled up in a ball and had no fight left in him. He lost that fight and not ounce did he throw a single punch or kick to defend himself.
@@punisher7772 That's because JCVD is an actor/body builder who did martial arts for body development. He never acted or pretended to be the guy he played on TV. Which is why he had a bodyguard in the first place. A far cry from Seagal who actually pretends to be the tough guy he plays on TV
@@UrbanDefenseSystems disagree, JCVD had competed in some kickboxing matches and won a few Karate tournaments to my knowledge but I don't believe he was ever a champion. And you can disagree with me all you want but Seagal is for real. He is pretty good at the martial arts and Aikido is not the only art he attained a rank in. Whether or not the stories of him getting in a fight with Yakuza is true or not I will bet out of most of the martial arts action stars he is one of the few who could actually defend himself and put up a good fight on the street. I can tell just by the way he moves his hands he could seriously hurt someone if he wanted to. Only one way to truly find out, like I always tell other people if you think he's not for real throw a punch at him and see what happens.
I don’t see how it wouldn’t be real. There is a instagram page now that has underground fights. So these things still go on today in some way. Much different then what it once was I’m sure, but a group of Martial Artist getting together and fighting, why wouldn’t that be true.
Great interview ..I remember the impact magazine ,combat and martial arts illustrated magazines ..back then in the late 80s and 90s we never had Internet so the only way to find out what martial arts films were coming out were these magazines ..I still have a lot of the impact magazines I actually have issue 2 which covered and promoted the releases of terminator 2 and double impact
I can actually believe real life Kumites existed. But Frank Dux truly exhagerrated it to a make believe hero level which he had NOTHING to do with. Benny Uriquez even told us all of his secret fight to the death that he didnt know he had accepted! Im sure they must have been ultimate gambling in those matches.

Viking Samurai it was excellent to watch the three hours interview, session that you had with the legendary Bey Logan! I bought many of the Hong Kong Legends DVDs 📀 where I first came to know about him, through his video commentaries about most of the Hong Kong films, on the Hong Kong Legends catalogue. He has mentioned in the Bruce Lee related, Hong Kong Legends label films, such as Game Of Death 2 where he interviewed Hwang Jang Lee's American Taekwando student and university teacher (Dr. Roy Horan) who was in Game Of Death 2, also in Jackie Chan's Drunken Master 1 film, where Roy Horan himself spoke about a possibility a challenge match (Kumite), while in South Korea, where they were filming part of the film. They both talk about such challenge match possibility, where he Dr. Roy Horan accidentally knocked out for real, one of the South Korean martial arts henchmen in the film and South Korean soldiers who while on a break saw it happen, while they were filming the scene on a location. In such films such as Game Death 2 and other Bruce Lee related films, Bey Logan in his Hong Kong Legends audio commentaries, mentioned the infamous rooftop challenge matches, that Bruce Lee himself as a youth, would take part in Hong Kong, in his youth prior to going to the USA to study and so forth. Bey Logan mentioned that on the set of Enter The Dragon, a number of the film's martial arts 🥋 extras or Mr. Han's henchmen were both Kung Fu exponents or triads who would at times challenge Bruce Lee to real, unscripted, non film real Kumite, no rules fights. Even in Bruce Lee documentaries, Fred Weintraub whom if I am not mistaken was one of the producers of Enter The Dragon, please do not quote me, used to write back to his wife back home in the USA at that time, the challenge matches that he saw Bruce Lee fight in on the set of Enter The Dragon, even Bolo Yeung told stories of Bruce Lee cleaning them up. Please when you have Bey Logan ask him about the Hong Kong rooftop challenge matches (Kumite) between various triad members, who would often also be Kung Fu practitioners. Especially the ongoing feuds between Choy Lee Fut Kung Fu and Wing Chun Kung Fu (Bruce Lee's main foundation) schools. With all due respect to Bey Logan, I believe with so much things discussed, in over three hours of so with your live podcast with him, he forgot to mention the infamous Hong Kong (Kumite sort to speak) rooftop challenge matches, between rival martial arts schools, triads and so forth in Hong Kong rooftops, which ties into one of your interviews with Frank Dux, where he was telling you, how during filming of Bloodsport with Jean Claude Van Damme, he was telling him that challenge matches in Hong Kong, at times would have transpired on the edge of buildings, on rooftops, from what I remember him vaguely saying about his choreography involvement in the Bloodsport film himself. Looking forward to seeing further sessions, between you and Mr. Bey Logan, if only you could get the formidably outstanding and legendary Donnie Yen himself, here on your Viking Samurai TH-cam channel, given that Bey Logan is very good friends with him, just wishful thinking on my part😂😅. People used to (and still do) have real fights in the dojo. Fighting the instructor, etc. That doesn't equate to a "competition". It was just fighting - i.e. challenges. And why would a HK competition be called by the Japanese word "kumite".
Lol exactly there would be no " kumite" in china. Maybe some underground fights but I highly doubt people from all the world went there. The way China was back then foreigners wouldnt be allowed to something like that.
The Kumite may be real, I expect that to be real because there is a history of that kind of thing, but everything Frank Dux said he did was not. Almost every Kung Fu school I have seen is full of very weird and socially awkward types. Like nerdy people and kids who are a little too into Asian stuff like comics and anime and other stuff. The students are usually like that or total hippies and new agers. People who don't fight or want to fight or even spar much. Just weird stuff. I have never seen a Kung Fu gym with people actually training hard like in Sanda Sanshou or like that even. I just saw a Tai Chi Bagua type demo the other day and it was really bad.
Depends on who you train with. Some are truly amazing out there and 100 percent legit, and yet very low key. Others are clowns that may have never fought in their life.
Hmmmm...it seems like someone is confused. Bey Logan claims the "Kumite" happened in "Hong Kong" and Frank Dux claims it happened in the Bahamas. Since Frank is a former Champion, we should accept his version of the "truth" regarding The Kumite's venue.
Can someone explain to me just one thing? Why would anyone in China, where all people speak Chinese, name a tournament a "Kumite", which is a Japanese term/word for "Fight"? Especially if we know the historical relationship between China and Japan and how much the Chinese dislike the Japanese?!
"The Kumite" did not exist. What did exist was the freestyle fight circuit tournaments in Hong Kong in the 1970s. This is known. In fact, Ron Van Clief fought in a few of them.
So it was real. The actual fights, but did Frank Dux actually took a part in them, or he is just telling stories? Like, from one side he probably lied about it a little bit because, if those tournaments were illegal, then it could get him in to a trouble. But from the other side, he could just made it up that he took a part in those tournaments. So there is 50 - 50 feeling about his story. But hearing, from somebody who speaks the truth, that these tournaments were real, is kinda like a relief. Because, at least about something Frank Dux didn't lied. All tho, even after this information, people will think that it is all a lie because... well, ego and stuff. Because trolls never go to school, they just trying to make people angry to have fun and satisfy their ego. And you know what, Viking Samurai, WE NEED TO BRING Donnie Yen to your channel. Cause maybe he got something to share about all this stuff himself. And I'm sure that he does, so bring him on. That will blow your channel up for sure, and you will get more people to watch your content.

Bey Logan's and Benny Urquidez's testimony holds more weight than Frank Dux. Underground fights surely do happen, but I doubt it is as organized as Frank Dux makes it out to be. Like Bey Logan said, it is often triad run and basically people a little drunk, a little bored, and they're like, lets do this! In short, Bey Logan and Benny Urquidez: truth! Frank Dux: smells like BS. Just imagine how in America, the Mafia would possibly have underground boxing fights and gamble on it. Thats very plausible right? I think it would be interesting if @Viking Samurai can get Mr. Mark Houghton on, for his experience in HK, if he is willing to share about such fights he was involved in. His sifu is the great Lau Kar Leung afterall.
OMG why does the Frank Dux still get a platform? He knows it's not real. Bloodsport is a classic! There many great martial artists and military heros who are honest and never get a platform.
The kumite used to happen in Tianjin and they had only the greatest competitors. It became illegal and then it happened in Okinawa. It became illegal and the it happened in Ottawa Canada. It became illegal and it became the UFC and then the MMA. It never happened in Tibet or Hong Kong. Frank Dux never fought a kumite. There were however many illegal no holds barred illegal fights many places but the kumite is a rumble only for the best. Never in Hong Kong. All no holds barred fighting competition are not the kumite.
I think if people knew what goes on at the parties of wealthy bankers and politicians, the blood sport thing isn't that far fetched, in fact I would argue that it is far more believable than what actually goes on in some of the dungeons under certain studios. No Idea if what Frank said is or isn't true as I believe we all describe the same painting with different words. Can Frank fight? Yes. Is he a good person? Well, I am kind of clairvoyant and so yes he is a good person. But I believe he has some unique mental traits that make him unique and as a result people misunderstand his uniqueness as deception. I mean stuff like dimentia and alzheimer's, Asperger's and ADHD etc. People struggle to express and to comprehend but they try their best to express what they believe. Sometimes I'm meaning to say stuff like Tuesday but I say Saturday. Or I call my cat by the name of my family member and call my family member by my cat's name. It happens to a lot of us. I believe Franks story could be true, but it's such an amazing idea that most of us visualize what he is saying by using our imagination to visualize it: and that can make it seem hard to believe. And if the story teller has a unique mind or way of expressing their thoughts: it can be hard to feel comfortable believing them. But I'd rather give him the benefit of the doubt. I'd believe Frank Dux before I vote for any current president.
Under ground fighting has always happened all over the world especially when mobs are involved.. I lived in Taiwan from 1967 to 1980 and have heard tales about the secret Lei-Tai... But if we trace back, every major civilization always had fights sanctioned or not.... However, I think Frank Dux heard about these matches and maybe even watched some... I doubt he ever partipated and used what he saw and heard and was able to sell himself some fascinating story to gullible producers... But maybe the producers knew the BS but knew it would make some major money... Bey Logan is a legend and so is Benny The Jet... If they share something... I would believe them more than I would ever Frank Dux...
Title is misleading. It was just some drunk guys sparring next to a restaurant not a so called " Kumite " match. And not even really sparring it sounds like it was just some guys messing around and being macho, trying to prove themselves which does not qualify as a fight.
Well, it was two trained fighters being coerced into a match by a Triad boss. So the 'kumite' elements were there in microcosm! But maybe that's too much of a leap for some...

I do like this channel and it's all interesting. And I loved Combat Magazine as a kid.. BUT even though Bey "says" they happened it's still unprovable. It's still "I say it happened and if you don't believe me well you just don't know man" that's not evidence. I'm with him that arranged fights probably did happen because we see all over youtube with gypsy boxing but that's as certain as I or anyone else can be without evidence but regular arranged tournaments....held all over the world that experts, train for...?! Combat Magazine! Hehehe that brings back some memories. The editor - I forget his name - solid judo guy. He had another magazine as well. Although in those days they got away with a lot in Combat... Sometimes a really good feature on Steve Morris or someone. But always the irritating regulars: dim mak weirdos, George Dillman no-touch small circle, etc. Still, that magazine was NEVER boring! Always a movie review or 2 as well. A few lessons that Bauer Media could learn from that magazine.

Any woman could have easily beaten Frank Dux because they're amazing, apparently. Better than Men in every way, or so we are being told every minute in the current era...
They should bring a legit kumite style fighting sport back a legal sanctioned one no rules fighting with no weight class and use what ever style you want that way whoever wins really is the best in the world and there is no question, cant say well he is the best at 120lbs and so and so is the best at 170lbs, and so and so is the best at 200lbs, no there is only one best in the world.

In the wake of my discussion with David, several kung fu players from the era have written to me to corroborate that these kinds of informal underground matches did happen, and we know that Benny Urquidez took part in one. Of course, these events were not called 'The Kumite' and were not held in anywhere that looked like the tournament hall in 'Bloodsport'. As to why more people haven't come out to talk about them, they have, but in Chinese (which Bleeder and his buddies don't speak). I never heard confirmed reports of any foreigners competing in these illegal matches, but it's always possible. The late Roy Horan was involved in a 'death match' that was arranged to take place at Golden Harvest studios in 1977. Producer Ng See-yuen booked a stage for a ten-minute bare hand match between the Korean Wong Jang-lee and local Chinese kung fu fighter Cheng Kei-ying. Both men signed 'Fearless' style waivers stating that they would not hold the other responsible for injury or death. The match was only called off after Cheng's wife got scared on his behalf and called the police. Do you really think this was the one and only time in Hong Kong martial arts history that such an event was staged? Looner can say what he likes about me (behind my back), because I'm not that important of a figure, but please don't insult or comment on the history of a Chinese martial community that you have never been a part of.

With all the madness going on in this world, I never thought it was too crazy that there is a kung fu tournament lmao. We have the UFC and various other things these days that are pretty much a corporatised kumite. If you watch older UFC where it wasn't commercially known that BJJ was so strong in the meta, and it all changed, it was exactly like a kumite.

According to Frank's accounts, "The Kumite" was held in Nassau, Bahamas in 1975, not in Hong Kong like we see in the film. If that’s the case it would’ve had nothing to do with the Triads or Hong Kong. I don’t doubt there were underground tournaments that may have been used for recruiting purposes but that’s not what Frank has stated.
And, of course, we know how honest Frank Dux is.....

Gene Lebell the guy who everyone thinks choked out Seagal even admitted it was a lie one time and he has been known to make up lots of stories throughout his life. What is funny is everyone online wants to bring that up about Seagal being a coward and backing down from JCVD but no one mentions the time JCVD got his ass kicked in a club by his former bodyguard who was a boxer/martial artist as well as a biker in the Hell's Angels - Chuck Zito. One punch and JCVD was on the floor. Everytime JCVD tried to get up he would hit him again to drop him. He eventually curled up in a ball and had no fight left in him. He lost that fight and not ounce did he throw a single punch or kick to defend himself.

And you can disagree with me all you want but Seagal is for real. He is pretty good at the martial arts and Aikido is not the only art he attained a rank in. Whether or not the stories of him getting in a fight with Yakuza is true or not I will bet out of most of the martial arts action stars he is one of the few who could actually defend himself and put up a good fight on the street. I can tell just by the way he moves his hands he could seriously hurt someone if he wanted to. Only one way to truly find out, like I always tell other people if you think he's not for real throw a punch at him and see what happens.

I bought many of the Hong Kong Legends DVDs 📀 where I first came to know about him, through his video commentaries about most of the Hong Kong films, on the Hong Kong Legends catalogue.
He has mentioned in the Bruce Lee related, Hong Kong Legends label films, such as Game Of Death 2 where he interviewed Hwang Jang Lee's American Taekwando student and university teacher (Dr. Roy Horan) who was in Game Of Death 2, also in Jackie Chan's Drunken Master 1 film, where Roy Horan himself spoke about a possibility a challenge match (Kumite), while in South Korea, where they were filming part of the film.
They both talk about such challenge match possibility, where he Dr. Roy Horan accidentally knocked out for real, one of the South Korean martial arts henchmen in the film and South Korean soldiers who while on a break saw it happen, while they were filming the scene on a location. In such films such as Game Death 2 and other Bruce Lee related films, Bey Logan in his Hong Kong Legends audio commentaries, mentioned the infamous rooftop challenge matches, that Bruce Lee himself as a youth, would take part in Hong Kong, in his youth prior to going to the USA to study and so forth.
Bey Logan mentioned that on the set of Enter The Dragon, a number of the film's martial arts 🥋 extras or Mr. Han's henchmen were both Kung Fu exponents or triads who would at times challenge Bruce Lee to real, unscripted, non film real Kumite, no rules fights. Even in Bruce Lee documentaries, Fred Weintraub whom if I am not mistaken was one of the producers of Enter The Dragon, please do not quote me, used to write back to his wife back home in the USA at that time, the challenge matches that he saw Bruce Lee fight in on the set of Enter The Dragon, even Bolo Yeung told stories of Bruce Lee cleaning them up.
Please when you have Bey Logan ask him about the Hong Kong rooftop challenge matches (Kumite) between various triad members, who would often also be Kung Fu practitioners. Especially the ongoing feuds between Choy Lee Fut Kung Fu and Wing Chun Kung Fu (Bruce Lee's main foundation) schools.
With all due respect to Bey Logan, I believe with so much things discussed, in over three hours of so with your live podcast with him, he forgot to mention the infamous Hong Kong (Kumite sort to speak) rooftop challenge matches, between rival martial arts schools, triads and so forth in Hong Kong rooftops, which ties into one of your interviews with Frank Dux, where he was telling you, how during filming of Bloodsport with Jean Claude Van Damme, he was telling him that challenge matches in Hong Kong, at times would have transpired on the edge of buildings, on rooftops, from what I remember him vaguely saying about his choreography involvement in the Bloodsport film himself.
Looking forward to seeing further sessions, between you and Mr. Bey Logan, if only you could get the formidably outstanding and legendary Donnie Yen himself, here on your Viking Samurai TH-cam channel, given that Bey Logan is very good friends with him, just wishful thinking on my part😂😅. People used to (and still do) have real fights in the dojo. Fighting the instructor, etc. That doesn't equate to a "competition". It was just fighting - i.e. challenges. And why would a HK competition be called by the Japanese word "kumite".

Almost every Kung Fu school I have seen is full of very weird and socially awkward types. Like nerdy people and kids who are a little too into Asian stuff like comics and anime and other stuff. The students are usually like that or total hippies and new agers. People who don't fight or want to fight or even spar much. Just weird stuff. I have never seen a Kung Fu gym with people actually training hard like in Sanda Sanshou or like that even. I just saw a Tai Chi Bagua type demo the other day and it was really bad.
Depends on who you train with. Some are truly amazing out there and 100 percent legit, and yet very low key. Others are clowns that may have never fought in their life.

"The Kumite" did not exist. What did exist was the freestyle fight circuit tournaments in Hong Kong in the 1970s. This is known. In fact, Ron Van Clief fought in a few of them.
So it was real. The actual fights, but did Frank Dux actually took a part in them, or he is just telling stories? Like, from one side he probably lied about it a little bit because, if those tournaments were illegal, then it could get him in to a trouble. But from the other side, he could just made it up that he took a part in those tournaments. So there is 50 - 50 feeling about his story. But hearing, from somebody who speaks the truth, that these tournaments were real, is kinda like a relief. Because, at least about something Frank Dux didn't lied. All tho, even after this information, people will think that it is all a lie because... well, ego and stuff. Because trolls never go to school, they just trying to make people angry to have fun and satisfy their ego.
And you know what, Viking Samurai, WE NEED TO BRING Donnie Yen to your channel. Cause maybe he got something to share about all this stuff himself. And I'm sure that he does, so bring him on. That will blow your channel up for sure, and you will get more people to watch your content.

The kumite used to happen in Tianjin and they had only the greatest competitors. It became illegal and then it happened in Okinawa. It became illegal and the it happened in Ottawa Canada. It became illegal and it became the UFC and then the MMA. It never happened in Tibet or Hong Kong. Frank Dux never fought a kumite. There were however many illegal no holds barred illegal fights many places but the kumite is a rumble only for the best. Never in Hong Kong. All no holds barred fighting competition are not the kumite.

I think if people knew what goes on at the parties of wealthy bankers and politicians, the blood sport thing isn't that far fetched, in fact I would argue that it is far more believable than what actually goes on in some of the dungeons under certain studios. No Idea if what Frank said is or isn't true as I believe we all describe the same painting with different words. Can Frank fight? Yes. Is he a good person? Well, I am kind of clairvoyant and so yes he is a good person. But I believe he has some unique mental traits that make him unique and as a result people misunderstand his uniqueness as deception. I mean stuff like dimentia and alzheimer's, Asperger's and ADHD etc. People struggle to express and to comprehend but they try their best to express what they believe. Sometimes I'm meaning to say stuff like Tuesday but I say Saturday. Or I call my cat by the name of my family member and call my family member by my cat's name. It happens to a lot of us. I believe Franks story could be true, but it's such an amazing idea that most of us visualize what he is saying by using our imagination to visualize it: and that can make it seem hard to believe. And if the story teller has a unique mind or way of expressing their thoughts: it can be hard to feel comfortable believing them. But I'd rather give him the benefit of the doubt. I'd believe Frank Dux before I vote for any current president.

Combat Magazine! Hehehe that brings back some memories. The editor - I forget his name - solid judo guy. He had another magazine as well. Although in those days they got away with a lot in Combat... Sometimes a really good feature on Steve Morris or someone. But always the irritating regulars: dim mak weirdos, George Dillman no-touch small circle, etc. Still, that magazine was NEVER boring! Always a movie review or 2 as well. A few lessons that Bauer Media could learn from that magazine.

They should bring a legit kumite style fighting sport back a legal sanctioned one no rules fighting with no weight class and use what ever style you want that way whoever wins really is the best in the world and there is no question, cant say well he is the best at 120lbs and so and so is the best at 170lbs, and so and so is the best at 200lbs, no there is only one best in the world.
