My favourite Dux story is about what happened to the sword he won in Kumite. Apparently, he sold it to buy kidnapped orphans from pirates in the Philippines.
I guess he can travel to the Bahamas for personal glory, but can't travel to the Phillipines to ninja some pirates and save some kids. He's lucky they never took the money and killed the kids anyways.
I do this with all the awards I win. But I only deal in more "mature" orphans in the 30-45 range. Point them my way if you hear about any that need saving. I'm starting to build a Waco style compound with all my wives
The footage was real, I remember breaking in to an old shidoshi's house with him when I was younger to steal a katana, he showed it to me afterwards. Luckily, the shidoshi didn't call de caps.
This interview was a living 80’s Black Belt magazine back page ad. Complete with head band and wrist band set for those who paid their membership fee of $19.99.
I'm from the Caribbean. All islands have different but similar cultures. There's no way a tournament of that caliber could be held secretly on a small Caribbean island, because of how closely knitted island life is the kumite news would have spread
@@maxlumens9085 me too man! Woah, crazy. 1576.great year. Remember buck skin Betty? Big teeth, big booted, pirate wench?! Well, everything was going great one night, she was kneeling down to 'accidentally' clean some rum she just spilled on my long John's, when I leaned in her ear n told her I was gonna Dim Mak her in a minute. She left with a smile, but returned with the kumite police. The romance went out of it there n then... Good times!
I'm surprised Frank's allowed to even talk about it given his CIA operative status and Medal of Honor recipient. A very important guy in American history.
Bloodsport was a decent fantasy movie based upon the fantasies Dux created in his mind. Most legitimate martial artists in the world can watch Dux perform any of his Bullshido and know that he’s full of it. Nothing his does looks clean, smooth, or skilled. He reminds me of the folks that learn their fake skills from the internet.
Bro he still hold fastest knockout with a ko and fastest kick with a ko to this day and he was young early 20s Nd he grew up in Japan a d was trained some bad as dude but yeh I see what yo mean but he is nearly 70 in the vids that you see online nowadays cuz age will effect you up for sure so never take your youth for granted cuz after 35 uts all downhill anyhu got to say he was literally the hardest guy on the planet at one point and that ain't to be sniffed at. The kumite was like a mma pre mma k1 tournament without any rules so it drew a crowd of hard Nutts so yeh he was pretty bad ass. Bloodsport was epic mate watching that when it came out as a child it was fantastical but watching it know its all spot on apart from the exploding bricks but the script scene selection and even the music and actors and styles of ma used was top draw. Best Western Easter filmed martial arts film in my book mate. Respect brother.
It was so decent that this channel mentions it on almost every video I have watched. No matter what dux had a movie made and van damme was the actor. Good for them.

I listened to this, very carefully. I think Sky Benson is the perfect example of someone who idolizes their teacher so much, they fall into line with their B.S. No disrespect intended toward Sky, he seems like a really nice person, but this is kind of nuts. Streets of Rage 2 is the best beat-em-up of all time. Final Fight doesn't have shit on it.
This guys credibility immediately declined for me when I realized he was in front of a green screen pretending to be in a nice house. I loved this interview though. Anything adding to the mystique of Frank Dux makes me feel like a kid again. Well done!
He’s old school. Guys like him, Steven Segal and Frank Duc are relics from the 1970s-1980s. Back then, you can claim to travel the world, train under ancient masters and learn forbidden “death touches”. There was no internet and no way to trace someone’s lineage. Anyone can lie back then. So much fraud and con artists in the martial arts world back then.
In 1980, Dux told Black Belt that his fight record so far was 321 wins, one loss and seven draws,[8] though in 2014 he told AXS TV that he had retired with a fight record of 329 wins, zero losses.
Frank Dux was so great that he trained somebody else to show the world what he did a few years before. I always wondered why an unknown at the time (Van Damme) had to play the character to show what you would think Dux could still do! Is it because Van Damme's stage presents, and badass leg speed made the story of Frank Dux look better than he actually was?
Of course the footage was stolen, just like the kumite sword was sold to pay a pirate ransom, and his special forces military record was deleted to discredit him.
I've done underground fighting and have been to underground fights. I can assure you, they are not Kumites. They are just backyard fights. By Franks standard, Kimbo is a Kumite Master!!
In my opinion, does not matter to me if Frank Dux DID or DID NOT fabricate his Kumite experience....it's because of him and his (idea) that we have one of the greatest JCVD movies ever..BLOODSPORT!
I agree. Don “the dragon” Wilson was consistently bashing Dux on FB and I chimed in saying what you said about who cares, I love what Bloodsport did for me and my life…Don didn’t like what I had to say and neither did his page supporters
@@tripinvest8160 his beef isn't even with Dux, he's always had this thing about Van Damme. some people say had Van Damme stayed in karate longer instead of going off to Hollywood to pursue acting, he wanted to challenge him. Don was a kickboxing champion, and just like in Boxing everyone wants a challenge especially back then. but Van Damme was in semi contact which is a point style, get as a many points as you can for 3 rounds. he won a couple, but he also loss one or two. it was in Europe though, once he got into acting he had an easier transition than Don the Dragon got, so some people say there's some jealousy there. Asians do get the shaft sometimes in Hollywood, but i gotta be honest he's not that good of an actor. say what you want about Van Damme, he looks like he's made for movies. he wasn't that good either starting out, but he got better from Kickboxer on. there's never been a movie with Don the Dragon i found all that interesting, however i do have some respect for the guy, because he was legit back in his prime, but these days he looks for anything to grip about.
Turns out Frank was the first man on the moon, he just let Neal take the credit because he was working as a super-secret undercover CIA operative trying to catch the Easter bunny.
Nobody ever asks who was operating the camera that filmed Armstrong's first steps on the moon. It was Frank Dux. He jumped out and hovered, to give the honor of the first step to Neil. A true and humble hero, Frank is.
Great video, I won't leave a negative comment on this man because honestly, I'm still learning about the Dux controversy I will remain neutral until I know further facts. I made this mistake in the past regarding other martial arts celebrities and will not repeat it again. This is a great thread.
This reeks of 1980s pre-internet Karate goofiness. Imagine goons breaking into a dojo to steal fight tapes, or a sensei so skilled that he knows how to escape 7 different Gracie JuiJitsu holds (after they they are hooked in). It just sounds like pre-internet stupidity.
Agreed but these clowns don't understand how silly they sound. Never adjusted to post-internet lying - and they don't need to! They've still got their verrrrrrrrry ignorant demographic.
Once a decent lock or hold is on properly, i doubt it can be easily escaped from at all. Such 'escapes' could only be possible prior to the lock being fully 'on'. In which case its not escaping at all. Its more like evading or countering.
I grew up in a bad neighborhood, I probably watched 300 street fights before I got out of high school. Then I started drinking and hanging in bars, almost every fight went the same way. The bigger or stronger guy might get tagged a couple of times , then they got hold of the other guy and got them on the ground and beat on them until they gave up. No fancy boxing or karate etc, and I even knew a couple of guys who boxed and did well in the Golden Gloves. It's really hard to box when the other guy won't let go of you.
It's even harder to get a hold of someone that can actually box. Almost impossible if the person has absolutely no training. And if they do by the time they do grab someone that can box they're either too tired or hurt to do anything.
Didn't somebody debunk Dux's story just mathematically? I can't exactly remember. There would've been 1024 participants in the tournament if it was held the way Dux described.
Dude you can easily debunk his story by the simple fact that Kumite is a Japanese word for "open sparring" against a live opponent, and that in Hong Kong, they speak Cantonese and not Japanese....so why in the hell would the people of Hong Kong who do not speak Japanese call their underground fighting tournament "the Kumite"???? Like not only has Frank proven he's a fraud but he's proven how extremely ignorant he is of Asian countries, languages and cultures
@@cyborgchicken3502 Not to mention if he was the sole heir to a style passed down through generations (which was effective enough to let him win such a tournament), he would try to preserve it at all costs - not found an off shoot discipline he named after himself.
Let me get this straight. Somebody infiltrated a Ninja school, stole artifacts and secret VHS locked in a safe. That IS ninjitsu. Somebody ninjitsued a ninjitsu school?
If only they were taught by a _real_ Shinobi like *Diamond Dave* AKA *West Virginia Ninja.* He has a strict policy on not Ninjuring people who don't need to be ninjured!
@@amk8411 lol I know who you are talking about but the name Diamond dave makes me think of Van Halen singer David Lee Roth (who is in real life a martial artist)
This guy vouching for Frank Dux danced around directly answering any questions. If he was being interrogated by the Police he would immediately be regarded with suspicion. This reminds me of Bruce Tegner and Dillman. I am 72 years old and remember the dates I was in High School, the Navy , College etc. This guy was squirming and backtracking !
I did a ninjistu class. We trained as slow as possible so that we could learn how close to let some strike graze off of you. It's a psychological system. You gain your opponents confidence and leave them believing that your going down. It leaves them open for a counter. The slow system works your memory faster than repetition does. If you're tired of getting hit try it. Take a free class if you can.
Ninjistu is not a martial art that has any real life use. Come to a boxing and grappling gym if you wanna learn to fight. Letting shots graze off you is called slipping punches and I'm sure a good boxing gym can teach you that art far better then a ninjitsu gym.
Just work with a slip bag and spar I'm sorry but drills won't teach you how to slip punches like using a slip bag and sparing you have to know how to slip punches when pressure is applied.
If Dux wants to be a real Koga Ninja, then I say, let him! I still remember being a kid, and my mom telling me, that I wasnt REALLY a member of The Ghostbusters. And that The Ghostbusters didnt REALLY exist.. That stuff hurts man!! I imagine Frank Dux kinda going through the same deal. :(
They tried to say Jean-Claud Vandamn was a fake. I remember an article in blackbeltagazine aboud Vandamn being a fraud. Turns out, Vandamn is a martial arts prodigy.
Van Damme isn't claiming to have won a super secret tournament that absolutely no-one can or will corroborate. And I honestly don't know the truth about JCVD but if it was in a magazine it must be true, right?
Traditional DimMak not only involved kinetic energy. It also involved what part of the body to attack and when that part of the body was vulnerable to the point where, even the time of day could affect the effectiveness of the technique. It could also have a delayed affect to where it could take hours or even days to do it's damage. Crazy!
I am a bit skeptical. I do not believe that "Gracie Jiujitsu" guys were just destroyed, seven of who happened to be at Frank Dux seminar? I think this may have been a Kyoshu Pressure Point seminar, and volunteers, while being hit in the throat, chin, and back of the head, were KOed. I actually attended several of these events myself back in the day. ALL KOed volunteers just stood there and allowed instructors to pound them. (Example: George Dillman BS). In 1984, I was 12. I am 49 now. How old is this man? Also, many (not all) of the breaking demos of the 80s were rigged, including bottle breaking which was basically sugar glass smashing. At the same time, Gracie BJJ practitioners had The Gracie Challenge. If you beat them at NO RULES, no PADS, no TIME LIMIT fights, you got 5K. Groin strikes were allowed. Everything was recorded. None of Dux's victories were recorded. The ones he says were, mysteriously got "stolen". I have traveled through multiple seminars in 90s and 2000s, all also recorded (many are probably on TH-cam now). I have seen BJJ guys at many seminars, always respectful, but always cooperating with the teacher running the show. None of the pressure points that I witnessed (in Ryuku Kenpo or Kyoshu) would work against a same sized, resisting grappler or hard style fighter (boxer, kickboxers, mma fighters, etc.) Dux looks tough. He looks aggressive. He looks like he definitely knows how to fight. No doubt he can beat up an average guy, or even many traditional martial artists. I'm sure he had some tough students (rough guys who like to mix it up) as well. But his claims were false.
Inhad a channel like this but way better had eveyone from segal to dux to jcvd all at a round table. And 100s of other legends in martial arts and film I have it in my personal collection and never released it to the public. After I die it will be worth more money so I hope to release it after my death.
Dux Ryu, North Hollywood Dojo, was located at Magnolia Blvd. and Whitsett Ave. The school Sky, is referring to was called "Shadow Warriors School , or something like that? It was owned by one of Dux past students. It was located at Coldwater canyon and Victory Blvd.
For me it all comes down to being an American and if was as good as he states, he'd easily be a legendary martial artist in the US, Dojo's all over the country and a Hollywood star. I don't need to look at video's or read the 100th version of the truth. If he was authentic, that's what would have happened.
Sky Benson covering for his Shidoshi makes him a stand up guy, but it doesn't make him truthful. The amount of equivocation Sky was engaging in on the subject of Dux and his claims is pretty revealing.
Yep. He's basically providing cover and trying to save face. His story is complete bullshido, regardless of how admirably he is standing up for his Sensei/Shidoshi/Master.
Frank dux is speaking the truth, i am ogre, he got me my Harley Davidson headband back. To bad i missed the whole kumite because of the head injury. The people in the hosptital told me i got hurt in a car crash. But dux told me i travelled to Japan to fight kumite and i got Amnesia from a knock out from the former champ. But dux beat him for me. Great Guy.
No one, including myself wants to "bash frank". His lies and now the lies of his student forces lifelong, knowledgeable, martial artists to speak the truth. If and when Frank and his minions stop lying, we can all get back to studying and teaching the martial arts. This has been unpleasant for everyone involved and Frank should stop making false claims, admit his deceptions, and ask for forgiveness. We all want him to become a better man, who deserves respect for accepting the consequences and makes an effort to repent.
I agree with you Don Wilson, no one wants to bash Frank but no one wants to hear his lies either. he needs to man up to all his false claims and to stop his hate and threats to others.
Preach Don! Everyone that corroborates Dux's madness should be ashamed of themselves. This is just Ninja Dillman. You can meet a Frank Dux on every bus in a major city. Absolute madness.
Yeah man. It's been out there forever. I met Frank Dux and comedically fan stalked him for a whole weekend in San Antonio (2014 maybe?) at one of those hall of fame weekend long banquet things. He handled my bs well, I have to say. There were several big names that attended and Frank Dux got to speak (a lot of people got to speak). So he's up there on stage and you could tell that he was so relieved and thankful because of how nice everybody was considering all the "Dux drama". He was very aware that everyone in the audience (maybe 300?) new all about the drama going as far back as the late 80's. Dux looked like a great weight had been lifted. Now I'm not saying he's a saint. But I'm not saying he's the devil, either. I found the Dux fight footage back in in 2013 and it looked a lot like any other tournament footage from the 1960's. I came up under the Texas blood and guts guys who were from the 60's and 70's. My main instructor (and father figure), Roy Kurban, never missed an opportunity to be extremely hard on us. So I do know what those older tournaments looked like. I don't know where the Dux fights took place but the footage doesn't exactly make him look like a liar or a punk. Sure, you can even find a few of MY tournament fights online, but watching a few fights isn't all that definitive. There's a hell of a lot more to me, as a competent real world martial artist, than what you might see online. So I think there's probably more to Dux, as well. Me? I could give two shits what some guy, who's never been in a street fight or in real combat, thinks about my capabilities. All I ask is that if you're gonna talk shit then back it up. I don't live in a karate movie. I'm not going to train for six months to hem up some duchebag in the ring and then look over to see how happy Mr. Miyagi is. Maybe Dux is the same way. Maybe not. All I know is that, after meeting him, I didn't hate the guy like I did in the 90's. As it relates to "based on a true story" people need to grow the hell up. "Based on a true story" is NEVER actually true. Not one movie. Hey man, ask any combat vet and they'll tell you that they very easily see through bs and especially through the first world naivete that infects almost everything with a penis here in the states. Hell I was naive too. Until I wasn't. Smitty OUT
I will say, I definitely applaud Viking Samurai for having the integrity to seek out both sides of the Dux story. The one thing I CAN say in Dux's defense is that Rickson Gracie--who is indisputably legit--has never released the footage of himself trouncing Yoji Anjo behind closed doors. He simply showed the footage to the Japanese media when Anjo lied about what happened but never showed it to the public. So, it does happen that legit fighters with legit accomplishments will hold back on releasing footage of themselves competing.
Did the gracie's ever admit they jumped a catch wrestler 3 on 1 with pipes when they couldnt beat him? True story. Also did they cop to setting up the first 3 UFCs to win so that they could promote their martial arts. They are just as bad.
@@billgober2 Well, give the Gracies credit for having Ken Shamrock in the first UFC; they easily could have set up a tournament with no other submission-grapplers. Instead, they put Royce in with an excellent submission-grappler who was also bigger and stronger than Royce and a much better striker. The UFC was intended as a Gracie marketing scheme, but you have to give them credit for throwing Shamrock in there. It was wrong that he couldn't wear his wrestling shoes, whereas Royce could wear and use his gi, but it is still impressive that they brought him in.
@@kforcer Who was this excellent submission grappler you speak of? The only people Ken submitted were guys with no grappling. He was a pro wrestler that looked comic bookish in his speedo. He was there to get beat.
@@williamsmith8790 No, man. He submitted Masakatsu Funaki, one of the best submission grapplers in the world at the time. He was the top guy in the nascent Pancrase organization at the time, where everyone trained grappling intensively, at a time when almost body was doing it. If you wanted to seek out people who knew their toe-holds, heel-hooks and kneebars, there was no better place to go during that time than the Pancrase gyms in Japan. Even today, the guard that Funaki innovated--called the k-guard by modern competitors--is a successful and popular technique. And you see tons of his leglock entries and setups being used at the top level. I personally think Funaki would have done better than Ken against Royce, as Funaki had studied footage of the Gracies and took them seriously, whereas Ken by his own admission was unimpressed with them. But Shamrock beat Funaki so he was the top guy in Pancrase at the time. And bringing him was something Royce definitely didn't have to do.
What does the Japanese word kumite mean? Kumite (Japanese: 組手, literally "grappling hands") is one of the three main sections of karate training, along with kata and kihon. ... Kumite can be used to develop a particular technique or a skill (e.g. effectively judging and adjusting one's distance from one's opponent) or it can be done in competition.
16:50 the Ninja got Ninjaed. I was thinkin if he fought 80 people in one day that not all of them can be heavyweight so he must’ve fought guys who were a lot smaller than him. Is that really a victory?
If Dux had actual footage of the Kumite, he woulda been the first person to showcase it....."too brutal".....lol.....just like the Dim Mak ......only Josh Fabia is capable of mastering such a move.
Frank Dux lives in Martha Lake, Washington. I met him and his girlfriend while on a service call. We talked about the Kumite and he said he just steamrolled the guy and kept hitting him. He said it wasn't glamorous like the movie portrayed. My son cleaned some shrubbery from his house for a couple 30 min sessions. Good guy and what a small world
@ 21:45 about the Seminar where Frank gets out of a bunch of holds from BJJ stylist; does anyone have the actual footage? and are these actual BJJ stylist or Frank's students?
Frank's student, Tew I think, got taken down and choked out by a BJJ beginner. So, I doubt Frank got out of BJJ submissions. Proof: th-cam.com/video/V4BsSBnYsek/w-d-xo.html
Dux is telling the truth I was one of the pirates Frank Dux took down our entire pirate crew (all 70 of us) he taught us a lesson we never forget. Thank you frank.
If Dux was really doing all this stuff, you'd think that he would be circulating a few videos to attempt to salvage whatever is left of his reputation. The BJJ story alone would go a long way if there was video of it. I really try to keep an open mind with things but I'm going to have to remain a skeptic as far as Dux is concerned.
I know underground fight clubs used to exist and they were real bloodsports where people died. Its not exactly the kind of footage you post on youtube screaming 'hey guys, look at me'! That would be the equivalent of uploading your weekends with the Cartel, the FBI will come for you and so will the Cartels lol. Seriously the equivalent of a snuff film without snuff being the actual intention. Believe it or not they were always illegal, not just today.
Please Please Please show me some footage of him getting out of BJJ submissions just a couple of years ago. If footage of this exist and he does this then I will be a believer, however if he is rolling against a black belt, I want to know the black belts name and where he got his belt.
So basically the kumite was a TH-cam street fight video but dux called it the kumite. This guy seems like a nice guy and he's definitely not trying to bs anyone
At best, it sounds like he came across some pre-internet version of StreetBeefs - just a few guys in a park or something agreeing to a friendly fight for the fun of it. Maybe he even asked what they were doing and they said "kumite" which just means "sparring" in Japanese. Then his fantasy and delusion took it from there...
So this is a true story, I joined Dux Ryu Ninjitsu as a 11 year old kid back in 1992, I never made it very far but I went to the dojo for several months. The older guys there would sometimes talk about the kumite footage. One time they were watching it on VHS a TV in one of the rooms in kind of the office area of the dojo, I walked in and they told me to leave because it was too brutal and they didn't want me to watch it, so I never got a look at it. But I did hear about it. 🤷♂️
Dim (touch) Mak (a meridian point) or is a term that derives when old masters got into fights but went home and died or died on the way. Known as Dim Mak in the West, the phrase literally means "to touch a point" but is often translated as "death touch". It's sometime called poison hands but to simplify it's really just at the time doctors weren't readily available. So if someone got into a fight and they had a hemorage or blood lot and it wasn't diagnosed they would pass away. Or they had some heart issue or lung issue and the strike aggrsvated it. Because friends and family couldn't explain it they attributes it to the strike they suffered. Someone with not a good name or skill would then capitalize on that rumor and say they taught the "Dim Mak". People were intrigued and went to learn it. Then it became secretive and so on. It was a lot of hype for things that happen today. Only they didn't have an EMS to call. Westerners like to hear about mysterious Asian practices and so the westerner fall into the trap of this secretive practice. Itbreallybwasnt secretive until westerners showed up. The old masters disnt want to shafe their art with the "enemy" and many of them went underground. Some were good. Some werent. But either wsy; Dim Mak isnt what people think. Its just funny to see it STILL being romanticized.
There was a Kyoshu master who fought in UFC. He thought he could utilize his pressure point KO knowledge against Remko Pardoe (misspelling name). Remko was Holland Judo Champion. NO PRESSURE POINT WORKED. It is all a bunch of BS spread out by con men. The Pressure Point master tried striking pressure point of the Judoka. He was taken down with ease and lost within a few minutes.

The inmense narrative employed to save Dux's back is what I call: loyalty. Nothing makes sense, but he keeps pushing; yeah! he did awesome things, well, actually not actually fights, but demostrations of how to knock out people in México. I think you viking were very respectful, sure Sky deserves it, but the whole thing was funny as hell. Next thing: walking on thin-water. Hilarious!
Grab the knee with your trapped arm, tucking your head as you pull your arm up between the thigh and your neck...Short, quick breaths will help with the feeling of your head about to explode, and hopefully they will feel you slipping and switch to your arm or let go...Easier said than done haha, but if you're stronger than most, you could also just drop him on his head...
@@dragondon also how UTTERLY irresponsible it is. Are all of these people not familiar with science or medicine? We don't live in a f'ing 80s movie. Frank Dux was so great that he trained somebody else to show the world what he did a few years before. Once a decent lock or hold is on properly, i doubt it can be easily escaped from at all. Such 'escapes' could only be possible prior to the lock being fully 'on'. In which case its not escaping at all. Its more like evading or countering.
Yes you are correct but HEY .. its good entertainment still to hear how long and deep they can go with the BS

Traditional DimMak not only involved kinetic energy.
It also involved what part of the body to attack and when that part of the body was vulnerable to the point where, even the time of day could affect the effectiveness of the technique. It could also have a delayed affect to where it could take hours or even days to do it's damage. Crazy!
I DimMakked your mom
You, umm…. You believe that?

@@kforcer ,I agree with that
@@kforcer Who was this excellent submission grappler you speak of?

So basically the kumite was a TH-cam street fight video but dux called it the kumite. This guy seems like a nice guy and he's definitely not trying to bs anyone
Dux will explain it more thoroughly in a future video.
@@VikingSamurai I would love that, thank you
After each of his 56 consecutive knockouts, Dux shouted: "World Star!"
At best, it sounds like he came across some pre-internet version of StreetBeefs - just a few guys in a park or something agreeing to a friendly fight for the fun of it. Maybe he even asked what they were doing and they said "kumite" which just means "sparring" in Japanese. Then his fantasy and delusion took it from there...
just like the original moon landing footage, telemetry data etc went missing
I love how he's fair and listens and asks questions, like it might be real! lol
Frank Dux and Seagal went back in time and taught Ip Man too.
Good to hear!
Legendary stuff man. Why didn’t you stick with it beyond a few months?
Was satch ur sensei?
Yeah, there are lots of things you can say to get rid of a kid, so you can keep watching porn.
Great content as always
By strange coincidence, there's a similar term in the West - 'dim mark'- which refers to people that are gullible enough to fall for the con.
點穴 dim mak isnt "touch point" it's point and hole
Wrong. Tell that to my students Bear trap Williams.
Or tiger Williams. Or. Apache Williams. Who trained under the tutelage of Randy Tutelage born in Okinawa
4 of the greats.
22:17 So he doesn't take his shades off when he is on the mat grappling with people?
They did have stealth training outdoor classes available. Also firearms, Scuba, and others.
Hilarious!
Frank Dux vs Charlie Zelenoff would be epic.
Why is it always Mexico these fights always end up in Mexico for some reason
I was there when Liu Kang got invited to mortal kombat but he refused cause he needed to train with Dux first
Great content fair play to you for having both sides of the debate…… but Sky didn’t convince me about Dux
I doubt he convince anyone hell i think he was trying to convince himself but he seems all confused.
@@johnnysticks772 I thought that especially when he was thinking about dates for things.
Frank Dux needs to do a tutorial on how to escape the triangle choke if he was so good at breaking out of them.
This was cringe-worthy Viking.
This is mcdojo talk he's doing. I believe all your subscribers feel the same way that guy is full of it
Dux claims over 50 consecutive KO's and this guy says, he watched Frank KO 180 martial artists at his seminar!!! Who would pay for that???
@@dragondon also how UTTERLY irresponsible it is. Are all of these people not familiar with science or medicine? We don't live in a f'ing 80s movie. You can't just get "knocked out" and call it a day. 180 people? Even if mildly concussed, if this really happened, some of those people would have lifelong ramifications.
His whole channel is cringe
Any story of a ninja defeating a samurai was a ninja running up behind a samurai in the dark and cutting their throat from behind.
I'm sure the actual tactics have been adopted by people like the CIA. My favorite part of In The Line of Fire was the description from the neighbors.
Depending on who you ask, he's between 5'8" and 6'2" 140 to 180lbs.....
Age?
Late twenties to early forties.
ninja were samurai
@@TheLateScottBaio correct
@@TheLateScottBaio sorry my friend but no. Samurai were soldiers/warriors. Ninjas were assassins/hitmen. Samurai would fight you at noon and ninja would cut your throat while you're in the outhouse.
@@twistedtrailerparktales2126 how long have you lived in Japan?
@@twistedtrailerparktales2126 you might want to look into who I am
Is it possible that was kind of similar to streetbeefs when they do it on backyards or things like that
the OLD Video on tape sound more like the END Fight in the movie "HARD TIMES"
I remember the Dux Ryu Studio, was broken into and robbed around 1982or 83? It sounds like it has happened on more than one occasion. Unfortunately, both of his studios were in fairly high crime areas. 🙁
even just listening and watching this guy, one of franks "top students", its obvious what great trained fighters they all were..
😂
Either the Gracie guys were likely white belts or they were lying. It's doubtful Frank could get out of 9 fully sunk in holds by skilled grapplers. People studying for decades would fail at that.
Meh. Jiu jutsu hs rules against biting, eye gouging, ball grabbing...a finger up the asshole...a 50 buck bribe to let go. Or he just paid some stooges. There are people who claim he tried to pay them to lie about him.
Exactly, can you imagine Dux getting out of a locked in choke or any hold by Rickson Gracie??🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Wouldn't happen.
@@ashscott6068 Even with no rules if you're starting from a full locked in hold or choke either something is snapping or you're going unconscious. You'd be surprised how little time it takes to go unconscious when blood flow is cut off, it's literal seconds. I lean more like this was a setup then anything.
Bite the guy no more holds end of story.
agreed not even doubtful Id bet my life its not true...dux is what..in is mid to late 60s this supposed to happen 4 yrs ago...maybe they are confusing not tapping n graices letting go so they wouldn't kill him accidently ..
with dux getting out of hold
Very interesting you put out very good content my friend
I love the Seinfeld cut ins. Your timing is perfect!
I really don’t buy anything this guy or Dux is saying. If you want to interview an actual warrior, check out Paul Cale. He has 7 black belts and currently trains police and military units around the world.
yet Dux would wipe his ass with this dude. Better show some hespect
@@smokescreenOG 😂 I doubt it
Thank goodness the Viking samurai can see through this
Sky Benson is a very cool guy. I actually spoke to him a few months ago about the possibility of me training at his dojo in LA. Pretty much all of Dux's students I've met have been very nice to me and some of them got some serious skills. Also he came to my town last year and my BJJ teacher got to hang out with him, only had good things to say about the whole experience.
Thanks for sharing!
Nice.
So how long did it take you for the blackbelt?
Ehhm....
