Frank is proof of one thing. Always stick to your story (stories) no matter what. And Never ever, ever, ever admit that they are a lie. The guy has endurance I’ll give him that.
endurance of cluster B personality yes) I'm pretty sure Frank is very tired most of the time, because he have to remember which lies covers which lie covers which lie etc lies are like hydra you know, imagine remembering all that...
@@edmondlau511 Yes, but think about the beatings he must have taken in The Kumite; those beatings must have caused a lot of brain damage that induced mental illness. Imagine what his fight against Chong Li was like. Also, we don't even know what kind of damage he endured when he saved all of those orphans in the Philippines because nobody ever made a movie about it.
@@astrobullivant5908 The whole story was made up. There was no "Kumite." I went to a secret fight that you will never know about because it's secret, so you have to take my word for it.
The interviewer's face of incredulity is priceless, it is also observed how Frank becomes uncomfortable trying to explain how he doesn't even have a photo of Tanaka.
I appreciate your style of interviewing, you ask questions and occasionally for clarification but you allow the guest to answer leaving the viewers to decide if it's fiction or fact. Well done sir!
That's true, but common courtesy isn't very common anymore and it seems as if more and more so called interviewers would rather just get in a yelling match arguing or talk over everyone to hear their own jokes.
I always thought a prequel where Senzo Tanaka was the main character and shows how he got his sword would have been better than seeing a sequel to bloodsport
A prequel would certainly be awesome with a young Tanaka, but a sequel would have been even better. Frank Dux in the movie was some kind of special ops soldier so a sequel could have featured him on a secret mission where of course he'd encounter bad guys. Remember what Ogre, err, I mean Jackson said to Frank at the end, "If you ever need me, I'll be there." He could have been in the sequel too either for a cameo or as one of the main characters. The possibilities are endless, and it would have been action-packed!!
I was fairly open to Dux' explanations in the first two interviews. This one brought me back to reality. His relationship to Tanaka changes everytime he interviews. He is pretty much proving his book was bogus, even though most people already knew.
@@oddeddie4184 Lets start with the first 30 seconds... Did Dux meet Tanaka after breaking into his house or was he introduced by another martial artist as an experienced grappler, who already had tournament victories under his belt?

This is all new to me. So, Tanaka met Frank at a jujitsu tournament Frank was competing in. When and where was this tournament? Who did Frank compete against? Who did Frank win and lose against? Who was teaching Frank jujitsu at this time? Where are the trophies, plaques, & awards Frank won at his tournament? Who else was at this tournament that can testify to Frank's participation? (I'll bet they're all conveniently dead) Where are the pictures of Frank at the tournament?
Ive practiced martial arts for 30 years , won plenty of tournaments back in the 90's there is no evidence of this apart from a couple of people I still know who remembered it. Based on my experience I dubt there would be much evidence to support frank dux as most of it was in the 70's unless you were chuck noris or bruce lee no one really got to hear about your exploits.
@@winge-dogjones2492 Dux's claims are at least on par with Norris and Lee's achievements though. The major flaw in his story is what jujitsu tournament? Japanese jujitsu is a non competitive art and has no competitions. And bjj was most certainly not in america at the time. This guy is such a liar.
It would be interesting to hear Dux response to his videos on breaking bulletproof glass that was obviously plexiglass and shattering a bottle with his palm that was obviously a movie prop sugar glass bottle. It would also be interesting to hear his explanation of his military service.
Yes it's True, The organizer of the martial arts festival of Paris Bercy 1993 confirmed in an interview that everything was fake . It was bottle of sugar and plexiglass for the bulletproof
I don't think I ever heard Frank give a straight answer not even when it comes to techniques or stances or styles I'm just watching these interviews to honor Senzo Samurai viking for making this happen
@@paleo704 A "trophy" for a "secret" competition? Who are you supposed to show it to and explain where and how you won it if it's "secret"? Frank is a walking-talking contradiction. He claims no other competitors admit they fought in the event because it was "illegal" in the countries where the fights took place??? But, he seems to have no problem posting his over 300 win, 0 loss record with over 50 consecutive KO's!!!!! Every martial artist, whether it be a boxer, wrestler, mma guy, Tae Kwon do, whatever- is eager to demonstrate their techniques. When talking about techniques they can only go so long with trying to tell you before they want to show you, at least a little- at least a hint of the technique, via physical demonstration. Whether it be standing up and throwing a punch, or showing how one should block, or sitting and gesturing to illustrate their point. At some point at some level they want to show you and not just tell you. Except Frank Dux.
@@phantomoftheveganflatland6148 I'm a troll for not blindly believing? Is this a martial artist or a religion? You mean like the seminar in Mexico where he knocked out a bunch of people according to Sky Benson? Oh wait, did Sky tell us, or show us? Hint- there's no video. From what I've gathered, every bit of actual instruction given at Frank's dojos, has come from other actual martial artists that he hired to teach his students.
@@vultureguy33 Yes, and didnt he not pay that one dude .. Zane? Who kicked Duxs ass later? Specifically for that reason? What comes to the few teaching of Frank there is. I dont really get "ninja master" or "Kumite champion" from it.
@@phantomoftheveganflatland6148 and now we have video of one of the seminars. Check freaking mate! As I just posted on the Sky Benson video (and I'll repost it here and only here, since it's so on point): Hey everyone... we have video! And it pretty much proves Sky is full of it and that Frank Dux is a phony. Here's video of Frank teaching one of his seminars: th-cam.com/video/mHWrnvzk2zQ/w-d-xo.html That's part 1, there's also a part 2 here th-cam.com/video/gfbOIPsspk4/w-d-xo.html So where is all this battle testing and sparring that supposedly occurs? Sky describes a style of training that is 1000 times more physical than what is actually happening. As I commented here, there, and elsewhere, Frank is 95 percent tell, 5 percent show. And just look at how he carries himself and the mannerisms, is that how real fighters carry themselves? Or is that the way a guy who sits on the couch all day dreaming up stories would move around? He never moves at any kind of real fighting speed, demonstrates extremely little (would rather write things out with his marker than show it), does a lot of static posing but no in motion footwork or any hitting a bag or anything. Explain this to us Sky- where is all the punching and kicking of people and bags that you said primarily occurs? Remember in that other video Sky says he saw him knock out what, like 80 people at a seminar? He doesn't even hit anything period. And VikingS, I luv ya bro, but I've been commenting on your vids like crazy, would love to get a single response from you. But either way, this is one of my favorite channels and I plan to stay subscribed and keep digging all your content.
Problem with all of this for me is him tying it into military service. He was USMC Reservist. No foul there but to claim you were recruited to do this and that is bullshit. “Files are Classified” works on Civilians but real military vets know better. Also if he was as deadly as he claims why not show off some of his skill as a marksman? A ninja would not train in hand to hand techniques while dismissing use of the weapons on the day/era? Even a run of the mill Marine or Soldier can shoot well enough to prove this point not to even mention guys who are actual operators. For me it’s 100% bullshit. All of it. Guy could not have beat a couch potato in a street fight
He beat all these fighters in the so called Kumite but from what I hear didn't do so well against Zane Fraizer. If he had all these quick knock outs Zane should have been a piece of cake for him.
He was kicked out for "flighty ideas" basically, he was kicked out cause he was fuckin dilusional, he lied about the Medal Of Honor among others, it's all BS, all be debunked as well.
Out of all his bullshit claims, faking his military status is probably the worst offense. I'm really starting to question Viking Samurai's sanity for backing this guy up. There is no need to give con artists a platform like this.
@@Rolls7 it's interesting just to hear what bullshit Dux says but I agree. Even after all the other people he interviewed , including Don Wilson who didn't look happy at all , he seems to be falling for the many tall tales of this fraud. Well considering he never gave you a yes or no answer. I don't think he is being honest. He skirted around your questions about him and Tanaka. I mean, you asked em if he lived close and frank, "he lives in many places".
Yes its true! Senzo Tanaka did train him but not with martial arts but with bondage bukake. Hence why he had to blur out his traumatic experience and change what happened. Just look at bloodsport the clues are there

No he retired in 1980 when his age was 24 and 300 fight he never won any single tournament. He fought not only Kumite of Bahama in 1975,he fought most of the fights in Japan and Taiwan.Apart from that he included fight not from open tournament, challenged him other Dojos and those fights also included. No person can win 300 matches in a single tournament and he never claimed it Don.
It was not kickboxing matches Don,it was Kumite and a man can easily fought 20 fights in day as it exists 1.5 to 2 minutes.Don't underestimate without proper knowledge about Kumite.Even you can check 100 man Kyokushin Kumite. You can't compare apples to oranges.
I really think Frank just glorified his sparring sessions. I have no doubts he was trained to some degree but he over hyped everything. I've had fighters over the years, who I know that did exhibition fights and to hear them talk about it, you'd think they went 12 rounds with Tyson.
Just like how Rickson Gracie counted all of his Jiu-jitsu matches and rolls as fights to give him 400 wins. When in actuality he might have had 10 real fights total.
Frank was usually two times bigger than any of his opponents, similar to Steven Seagal in his recorded matches; moreover, He could blast through anyone with a fierce not seen twice in any other match. It was as if he mastered the opponents body movements before they were made…. He was like a mirror… their shadow…. A shadow so big it swallowed them. Frank is now coming out of the swallow from the very shadow he created. The final stage of any black belt is “one” masters himself. He’s back and he’s got the “glow”. He is the last black dragon! Team Dux!
Interesting that Frank brought up body mechanics and individualism in a style of Martial Arts. The founder of Ishinryu originally had twist punches but decided that that was too much of a motion and changed it to a rising punch. Twist punches are still found in kata but not in the "charts" in my experience or who I studied under. I was always taught if you can't do a technique a specific way then modify it. I was always told "make it work for you". It's my understanding that the toe ripping kick was modified to the heel thrust kick because most Americans couldn't bend just their big toe down. After several years, I could do the traditional toe ripping kick because I practiced for hours a day just bending my big toe down. I am fascinated by the history of all Martial Arts and the changes that were made.
Martial arts are just that - art - but fighting is fighting and in its pure form is ugly and not so beautiful like what you see people doing all the time .
Isshinryu never used a twist punches in the martial arts for 40 years charts 1 and 2 uses a vertical fist in every kata if someone is teaching isshinryu with a twist punch he is not isshinryu teacher may be a black belt in isshinryu and used a twist punch from other martial arts but not isshinryu.
Hi!! These just keep getting better!!!! Really enjoyed that one! Can’t wait to see the next video and you really deserve a lot more subs and viewers. Incredible content! Thanks
I loved this movie as a kid and it was so disappointing to find out that none of his story can really be confirmed. The more and more you look into it, it just seems like this guy is a great storyteller. The biggest problem with his whole story is that there is literally nobody else on the earth that can confirm any of it. How is that possible? His story has changed so much through the years in different interviews.
The version in the movie is the story he told to me and to Black Belt Magazine. If that's not the way it actually went down, he had ample opportunities in the intervening 40 years to correct the story. He's obviously read all the criticisms over the years, and worked out a new scenario to rectify all those "misperceptions." This newest scenario, reasonable as it may seem, is still bullshit. There is no proof whatsoever, of any version.

Yeah. And the grey area gets even bigger with Eastern martial arts, cus MOST of them were probably started by guys who never actually saw the combat they claimed they did. And when it's Ninjutsu, it's a whole different kettle of fish again, cus deception is kinda the whole POINT. But I still think it's about time Dux just says "Yeah, I lied, but I lied to create womething new and to keep something old alive, and Dux Ryu itself isn't a lie, because it absolutely exists. Whether it's effective or not isn't hugely important. Most classical martial arts aren't. Especially today.
I'm glad you addressed the whole body language thing, it's a ridiculous "pseudo-science" like you say. It's extremely circumstantial and subject to personal perceptions so I really don't know why anyone still subscribes to that concept. I'm with Don Wilson, Sheldon Lettich, and JCVD as far as Dux is concerned, but I do appreciate you taking the time to address the body language myth.
Why would anyone need body language to understand being 19 years old and never having won a single major tournament but training, like in the "Karate Kid" with an Traditional Japanese Karate Master, you can, in one event, amass an over 300 win undefeated record against the Greatest Martial Arts Fighters in the World! Hello, Viking Samurai. I've never seen an interview with Frank Dux, that's on this level. You're doing a great job, with these vids, these interviews you do. Keep them coming.🔥🔥🔥👍👍 TERRANCE OUT
Frank dux would say the CIA taught him how to read body language. Trump would say "im the best at reading body language, I know body language better than anyone on the earth". Both of them have something in common
Hmm, some double talk there. Saying one minute belts aren't worth anything and that's why they just use levels, and then when you question him on it he says they do use belts.
A good example of distraction. You ask a question and see how he can parry the question with a discussion that’s similar or related but not the actual question. That was a common ground of a discussion of belt systems and ‘style’ differences not in depth about tanaka. I get the feeling you’re playing softball and letting him do this for not wanting to upset him during the interview. 🥷
Softball works. Let the subject speak. Hardball interviewing doesn't work when the subject isn't being paid, isn't gaining anything, and can just pull the connection at a moment's notice, and even claim later that their internet went out. If you press Dux, he'll just repeat predictable excuses. If you let him talk, maybe he starts throwing in new embellishments. It's not like he deserves to be crucified. Dude just lied about being a CIA ninja. Who the Hell hasn't done that at least once? What reason would Dux have for agreeing to an interview where everything he says will be challenged? I'm sure he'd do it, but I'm sure the fee would be very high.
I met Dr Masaaki Hatsumi in 2004, and stayed at his house a while. He's the Grandmaster of Ninjutsu. I asked him about Frank and he'd never heard of him.
He's the grand Master of bujinkan ninjutso. Shoto Tanamura is grand Master of genbukan ninpo buguei. The only reason you know more about hatsumi is because he americanized ninjutso with correspondence ninjutso courses and shit. Before the internet. Hatsumi was more business minded

Bloodsport = A fighting movie, written by a fake fighter (Dux), performed by a real fighter(JCVD), re-enacting fake fights! LOL!!! Only in America. (Still an entertaining move no doubt)
Well like it or not Bloodsport picked up the torch that was lit by Enter the Dragon. Americans like Bruce Lee, Frank Dux, and Chuck Norris did more for exposing martial arts knowledge to the world than anyone else. They were all devoted to their art and carried that knowledge with openness to those that were interested in the martial arts.
Dux was real fighter and JCVD is not comparable though I respect JCVD.Dux way ahead as a martial artist and fighter than JCVD but JCVD also was a fighter and real but not as Dux level.

There is only ONE reliable way to tell if someone is lying: The thing they said, turns out not to be true. Your body doesn't know if you're lying. There is zero physiological evidence of dishonesty, only of discomfort. Which may, or may not be because you're lying. People can lie with zero signs, and people can show all the signs of stress, while telling the truth. It all depends on their personality and what consequences they might face, and how they feel about those potential consequences.
I'm so glad you talked about having your own spin on a technique. I cannot tell you how many times I have felt discouraged training because my kick or punch or throw didn't look literally exactly like someone else's. I remember my first TKD class I took literally after years before I received a yellow belt. I felt really chastised because my roundhouse wasn't like everyone else's. Of course I should know (considering I was training with a karate video not to long before)Ty for this interview, I feel better about my training.

This interview continues to get better and better! Take fans through the legal fight with JCVD, surviving the famous attack with brass knuckles. Dive deeper on surviving brain surgery and how martial science helped in Dux’s recovery. Dux should have a film or documentary on what life has been like for a USA Diplomat and martial arts legend. Sounds like a perfect gig for the Viking Samurai to host. Thank you sir. 🙌🏻
I knew the instant Frank mentioned Count Dante in the last video that he'd explain it all away by saying there were two Black Dragon Societies, just as when pressed about the Kumite he'd no doubt say Dante's Kumite was sanctioned by his own BDFS, not the ancient one of which Tanaka was a member.
The real black dragons were an anti government group in Japan that wanted to reinstitute the Shogunate. It's a historical thing. They did exist but being some martial arts mafia wasnt their mo.
Count Dante trained Frank Dux in the ancient art of bullshitsu, The black dragon society showed their appreciation of Dux by buying him a plastic trophy from poundland and a magical dissappearing katana
Tiger Tanaka the Japanese secret service honcho in "You Only Live Twice" with Sean Connery. Great movie by the way. Ashida Kim, Lawrence Day, Rev. Miskell, Irving Soto........all those buffoons from the so called Black Dragon Fighting Society worship Frank as the real deal. Grown men living in a fantasy, or living in a Twinkie.
He seems like a harmless individual. Very insecure though. I did watch more videos on him from other youtubers which strengthened what I already suspected and My opinion doesn’t change. I very much agreed with the video titled “the fictitious life of frank dux” it pretty much summed it up for me. You have to worry about someone who dresses in a gi that mimics a teenage mutant ninja turtle. He’s earned a decent living I guess from continuing the legend as long as he can but I think even he wasn’t expecting the power of the internet would ever be able to derail and debunk his stories. The truth always catches up with you. Always. Frank is a narcissist and craves attention and wants to be liked and loved and seen as a messiah or guru. Again, a complicated character with a talent for tall tales. Harmless guy though.
Dux would absolutely refuse to do an interview of that nature. He's probably aware of the questions before hand or made it clear he'll cut the interview off if he doesn't like the questions. I know Steven Seagal does that.
If you're Viking Samurai it's gotta be a tightrope walk. You come at him too hard too fast and you risk losing him as a guest before the interview even gets a chance to go anywhere. Come at him too soft and there's no point to the interview. So the balancing act is to keep him talking while also throwing some counter points at him to get him to cover some ground we haven't heard him address before. And part of why so many of us love this channel is because VikingS isn't just mindlessly parroting everyone else's talking points (that generally tend to shit on our childhood heros).
@@wantutosigh1117 that's fair. Just saying how I can sort of see it from his perspective. But yes as a viewer I'm with you, about what we'd rather see here. No because there is no proof Senzo Tanka even knew martial arts let alone was a master. The only evidence he existed are some immigration papers and a draft card but he was never drafted.
This has become a fascinating topic, thanks for exploring it. I have a few points that have been derived from my own experiences as both a Martial artist and a storyteller. I personally believe that much of what Frank Dux says of his history and experiences is based on real events. I say this because it's very hard to prove one's own adventures unless they were witnessed by many people or were recorded in some manner. For example, I studied Martial arts for 12 years, fought in a backyard tournament, fought in fight clubs, had underground wrestling matches, created my own martial arts style and taught students. The proof from those many years of combat and training amounts to a handful of photos, a one minute boxing video on TH-cam and an independent movie that never made it off VHS. In other words, I had over a decade of fighting that I really can't prove ever happened. In fact, it's worse than that. I have written and published 9 books based on my real life adventures but due to the lack of witnesses, I had to make sure they were all listed as fiction. Despite doing this some newspapers noticed that amount of detail and still investigated the stories only to find no official proof. Sound familiar? Frank Dux is an island, a unicorn. He is a unique individual who has lead a crazy, almost bizarre life that makes him incredulous to most people. Keep in mind, most people do very little with their lives. They need to believe that people like Frank and myself are liars because if we are then it's okay that they have fallen short of personal expectations. If it's all a lie, that justifies their own lack of imagination and lack of courage. I know I'll get slammed for saying these things but it needed to be said by one of the few who understand. Some people lead extraordinary lives that are beyond belief. We often don't choose it. We often merely survive it and look back with amazement that we are still alive to tell the tale. To summarize I think Frank Dux is telling mostly the truth but because he is not a good storyteller some of the credibility is lost in translation. Also, many of the people who go crazy on these message boards grew up in a time where everything has been recorded. They must be struggling with the idea that long ago things happened and if you weren't there, you'll never get to see it. Those events are lost to history. Anyway, great work!
You don't have to stick your head into the refrigerator to know the light goes out when you close the door! Just use some basic logic and knowledge of how human beings learn and perform to perfect any physical skill set. It takes many years of dedication and hard work. Or, you can make up a story that you claim happened when you were 19, make a movie about it while claiming it is all true and then sit back, eat, and rake in the money for years! Sound familiar?
I was trained by a "Tanaka" myself. Pat Tanaka who wrestled in the WWF. But, I'm not gonna charge people to teach them. Lotta Japanese people have the last name Tanaka. That's like a Latino named Lopez.
I've been hard on Frank Dux and Steven Seagal in the comments because of all the controversy that surrounds them. But in the end as a child of the 80's and early 90's Bloodsport is one of my favorite action movies and Steven Seagal is one of the coolest action stars on screen. We never saw anything like his Aikido on the big screen, or anywhere else for that matter, and Bloodsport was such a cool story that they continue to live on years after they debuted.
As bad as as Seagal is .. i still think he has more credibility compared to Dux . As their is actual early footage of him in Japan , teaching at an early age . And he does appear to have had very fast reflexes and speed . He lies about knowing Bruce Lee and all that . But as a martial artist he is legit . Dux in comparison has no footage from the 70's , and nobody can vouch for Tanaka despite being a master . And video's of him in his 30's from the 80's don't show he was anywhere near as fast .. as B.
There are really people who can’t bend their big toe down?
Isshinryu never used a twist punches in the martial arts for 40 years charts 1 and 2 uses a vertical fist in every kata if someone is teaching isshinryu with a twist punch he is not isshinryu teacher may be a black belt in isshinryu and used a twist punch from other martial arts but not isshinryu.

Americans like Bruce Lee, Frank Dux, and Chuck Norris did more for exposing martial arts knowledge to the world than anyone else. They were all devoted to their art and carried that knowledge with openness to those that were interested in the martial arts.
Can you prove he was a fake fighter?? Awwww there's proof of him actually fighting🤡
Dux was real fighter and JCVD is not comparable though I respect JCVD.Dux way ahead as a martial artist and fighter than JCVD but JCVD also was a fighter and real but not as Dux level.
I Discovered your channel about 6-8 months ago , just want to say awesome channel I'll be 48 this August & originally got into Tang Soo Do Frm Bloodsport and Van Damme Movies, Thank you for what you do I really enjoy the Channel !
Man I knew a guy like Dux at reception. He was telling all us Recruits he was a Master Chief but all the Privates start questioning him. Dude was cool but man his stories were so farfetched lol
all these interviews are pretty good 💯
I remember when Tiger Tanaka and his army of Ninja stormed a hollowed out volcano in You Only Live Twice
Great interview mate. In particular, your articulate explanations about going off and making your own style and mark.
The way you just let him go is commendable.
I'm very happy that you made this channel and you are doing amazing for the martial arts community. Much respect and thank you again for all that you do bringing the history and reminding everyone of the good old days of martial arts. ,✌️✌️💯💯🥋🥋💪😁
Loving this!! Really want his stories to be true but 🤷🏻♂️. Great work bro! 👍🏻
Viking Samurai you're a great interviewer! No way to know if he's telling the truth or not, but he seems quite genuine to me and I really like him!
Love the 70-90s Black Belt content on this channel! 🍿🍻
Like a substandard musician, “it’s just my style!” This is why Dux is appealing, he gives platitudes that comfort losers, says the things they want to hear.
Great interview!!!!I want see next parts.
I don’t believe Dux but I’m glad he had these chances to answer what people have said about his claims.
Regardless if Dux is outrageous he deserves the chance to answer
Not if he's making all this up and lying to the public over & over again he doesn't deserve a chance to answer.
This interview continues to get better and better! Frank Dux should have a documentary that takes place before release of the first film; introduce us to the real Chun Lee, and dive deeper on these subjects. 🙌🏻
If Tanaka was so great and real, wouldn’t people from his neighborhood, know if he was a top dog in the greatest karate master ever.
Dux is talented. No matter whether he is being truthful, or not. He is not an idiot, by any stretch. These interviews are fantastic.
Colored belts came from Judo who made a rank system for their physical education sport.
Dux never met Dante, same as that other clown Ashida Kim. Cashing in on the memories of a dead man.
Count Dante trained Frank Dux in the ancient art of bullshitsu, The black dragon society showed their appreciation of Dux by buying him a plastic trophy from poundland and a magical dissappearing katana
@@KempoWarrior1954 😂😂😂😂😂
What happened to Dux's face?
Tiger Tanaka the Japanese secret service honcho in "You Only Live Twice" with Sean Connery. Great movie by the way.
Ashida Kim, Lawrence Day, Rev. Miskell, Irving Soto........all those buffoons from the so called Black Dragon Fighting Society worship Frank as the real deal. Grown men living in a fantasy, or living in a Twinkie.
Black Dragon Society lol sounds like a fictional organization of super villains
@@indyphillipconner6252 In an old James Bond novel they were! :)
@@KempoWarrior1954 Cool
Wow amazing interview I love the philosophy of Frank Dux in the martial arts. We can apply it in our teaching and fighting systems
You can always tell when Frank is lying. It is when he is talking.
Great interview!!!! These interviews with Dux’s , definitely changed my perception of the guy!
PS yes, black belt is the master of the basics 🥋🥋🥋
Please tell me you don't buy into his BS dude lol
Should have asked him to perform the dim mak.. The bottom one!
When is someone going to see through his Ryu dux bullshit and ask the hard hitting questions
VS is pedaling this interview as though he is getting the truth from Dux. I find that less than honorable.
@@wantutosigh1117 that's fair. Just saying how I can sort of see it from his perspective. But yes as a viewer I'm with you, about what we'd rather see here. I still think this content is super entertaining and adds a fresh perspective - that of a guy from the generation that grew up watching Bloodsport and who can relate to both the credulous and the incredulous of us out there.
I love this david. thank you for the interesting content
The major flaw in his story is what jujitsu tournament? Japanese jujitsu is a non competitive art and has no competitions. And bjj was most certainly not in america at the time. This guy is such a liar.
The Traditional Jujitsu Grandmaster I trained under has a history going back beyond the 80's associated with some globally renowned Masters such as Professor Wally Jay. Maybe it was possible?
@@ironbeastnz u tell me how a jujitsu tournament would even work. People competing to put standing joint locks on each other? Anyone who knows anything about martial arts knows no such competitions exist
You are realy great Interviewer. You stand very calm and let him just talk. Amazing job. That's enough to say for my perspective. 😉
are you going to ask about his book and how pictures are from movie sets and how military said he was not there?
Lets be honest...we all know the truth and want to be humored by Dux. I enjoy a good story to tickle my ears
Why does this keep going on about Frank Dux? I trained with him for 5 years when he had his dojo in Burbank,Ca. on Lankershim Blvd. He is the real deal in the art of ninjutsu. I have even seen the photos of him with Senzo Tanaka on the walls of the dojo. He did indeed compete in the kumite. I have seen photos of that also. I know that you all are probably jealous and that is why you can't stop picking at him.
Good reply, it would be cool if he interviewed you. Peace !
@@MonteC68WC it wouldn't do any justice to be interviewed by Viking Samarai because this was way back in the mid 80's and I only saw the photos on the walls of the dojo. I don't have any of those photos myself.
Frank Dux doesn’t have any photos of Tanaka.
If you ask me how I met my instructor I'll tell you a story about how I met him and it will have specific details, I won't give a vague half answer and change the subject. How many years has this guy had to get his story straight?
It’s all BS , been descredited by most masters
Keep en coming!
This should be practical. Isn't there some one alive that trained under Tanaka and could verify if Frank trained under Tanaka too.
No!!!
_"What's the difference if Bruce Springsteen was his Shidoshi?"_
@@amk8411 Springsteen knows how to use the Guitar. Frank doesn't.
No because there is no proof Senzo Tanka even knew martial arts let alone was a master. The only evidence he existed are some immigration papers and a draft card but he was never drafted.
Where can the watch the pinkman videos ?
Very interesting mate. Cheers for sharing 👍🏻
I beat you up before so yeah I believe you. 😜
Great comment
Great interview. I don’t know what is true or false, I wasn’t there. I just love a good story. Thanks for the series.
I like you explanation in the intro... Viking.
That's how weenies act and in today's time, that's practically the whole world.
And video's of him in his 30's from the 80's don't show he was anywhere near as fast .. as B. Lee as he stated . He's a good story teller as Bloodsport was great . But that's about it . Seagal is slightly more credible

Mark Uhse, yes, I was there when Steven and my father in law were talking about the time that Steven was at James Coburn’s house and my father in law and Bruce Lee came
@@zverev85 Here is an interview from the 80's , of Coburn saying he met Seagal about 3 years ago . Combine this with the fact Seagal claims Bruce knew about his son ... who wasn't born until 1975 long after Bruce died . Inosanto is close friends with Seagal , he could have said that story to save Seagal from being caught in a lie . Also it's strange Seagal didn't start saying Coburn introduced him to Bruce , until after Coburn had already passed way .th-cam.com/video/Jrf9dVOZork/w-d-xo.html
The interviewer is being incredibly gracious and polite to his guest... which is the right thing to do. But the whole time I was watching this video I thought to myself 'Wouldn't it be some SHEET if this guy turned out to be Pinkman?' Anybody remember that guy's channel?
I trained Frank Dux
😎
What it was you that invented bullshido ????,
We needed this, the world should get to understand Frank. Thanks Mr. V.S.
frank has to stop this lol..the internet has expose your lies and claims lol..sorry viking samurai but im laughing so hard with franks tales lol..
We all are!!!
Amazing-you got the founder of Dux Ryu Ninjitsu to finally answer all the questions that needed to be answered! To my knowledge-the ONLY Ninja practitioner (all due respect to Scott Morris from UFC 2) to be successful in full contact competitions-and even More impressive- in the MECCA of underground fighting tourneys-THe Bahamas! That’s like winning in Lupinee and Rajadern stadiums multiple times or winning Abu Dhabi if ur a grappler! Hoping you can get Ashida Kim on the channel one day too-maybe even a co-op interview with Frank! That would be like a meeting of the alpha and Arashikage Ninja clans! I know it’s a long shot but if you could get Stephen Hayes in there with them…so much Ninjitsu Goodness in one place. It would be a VERY interesting conversation :)
I meant Koga and Arashikage ninja clans-not team alpha :)
Hate to say it but you have been suckered like a lot of people who believe his BS.
The key word is " fascinating " which you repeated several times. Fascinated by lies and made up stories that really only exist in Frank Dux's head. If he would just be honest and admit that everything he says is fiction and not fact I wouldn't have a problem with the stuff that comes out his mouth. The truth is he's a story teller, that's it. None of his claims have been proven and never will be. Bottom line. But as long as people believe in these fictional stories they will continue to believe it's all true. And all he has to do is just talk about it ( but prove nothing ) and people will believe him. An insult to real martial artist, especially the old time kickboxers and Karate fighters who proved what they could actually do and had witnesses there to verify it actually happened. And no lost or stolen videotapes LOL
U think he dont know? He was just playing along with it. Its just for the content of his channel.
@@brogoram How do you know ? Did you ask him ?
Great video it's very interesting keep up the great work 👍 👏
A friend of mine was a piano teacher. She said you must learn how to play music then break from that system. You have a pattern(like a kata or style) then you break from it. This is true freedom. Learn....breakfree.....then you have true knowledge of self and freedom.
Frank Dux seems like a pleasant person to talk to.
5:55 What a bizarre story. Desperately looking for approval, and the face he makes after is awkward.
How could Tanaka be a superspy for the US Army at the same time he's in an internment camp?
@@robertodell9193 Yeah he never was in the Army, he was required to register for the draft which all Japanese men were, it was to prove they relinquished all ties to Japan.
I don't care like I said like the movie said even if Bruce Springsteen is his Satoshi or Sensei who cares it's a movie it's not a court case Einstein
He needs to write down these elaborate lies so as he gets older he doesn't stumble on all the details.
