Nintendo has no real competitors in the handheld segment, they do not need to care about those 10-12 TFlops, as both Sony and Microsoft have no intention of throwing a competitor in that segment. If we are talking about home console instead, the Switch is holding on decently, despite the masochistic pricing policy. Talking about prices, 350 is quite a steep price for the OLED unit, so it only makes sense to buy it if you are going to play in handheld mode for at least half of the time. Otherwise save those 50 bucks and rather spend them for an extra game.

Definitely exchange the Oled for a lite. You’ve already stated that at home your children have a PS5 and Xbox one which are superior to switch already. Just like me I don’t even play my PS 4 pro that my brother has because I’m playing Lite all the time. I play it on the couch, in my bed, at the dinner table, at work, on the train, in the car if I’m getting a ride basically any chance I get to play my switch, I’m playing it. You have kids so I already know you grew up when the game boy came out so TRUST ME, exchange the Oled for the lite. Individuals like us that grew up doing the gameboy and gameboy color generation and also already have consoles at home don’t need a switch. We prefer the lite! You’ll love it bro. I have over 50+ games on my switch lite and I’ve had for 3 years now and haven’t experienced any drift issues so don’t worry about those nonsense comments brodie.
I have the regular Switch and the Switch Lite. I don't have the Switch OLED, but I was thinking of getting one, but I don't know if there's any point of getting it now, if Nintendo is going to develop it's new generation console next year or two years from now, that's what the rumors say. Anyway, I transferred all the game data from my regular Switch to my Switch Lite and to be honest, I'd pretty much rather use Lite than the regular Switch any day because I like playing it on the go.
Thank you for smart comparison. Just came across the dude, who told PS5 is comparison to its digital model is the same as Series X in comparison to S model After that example I just closed the videos with understanding that the man has no clue, and kept on looking for another one. This one did the trick for me.
Having a good screen on Oled or older version is pointless because you still play it on your tv... you wont be playing it outside all the time because its not meant to be played outside, sure for travelling, but how many times do you travel everyday? Every week, month, years or decades and if you are travelling, would you waste your time playing nintendo switch during your trip. The best way nintendo can earn a huge amount of money is allowing lite version to connect to TV and i dont know if wireless controller work on lite
Hard to tell, i really really want to play Metroid Prime again, but euhm 440$ to play 2 games (+Pokemon) is kinda expensive. But the TV OUT option is also a must.
Imo there's no point in getting the Oled the og Switch is better for Tv considering it's $100 cheaper than the oled and the main difference is the screen while the Lite is best for handheld since it works more like a traditional handheld being smaller and the controllers don't detach the oled is best for handheld but imo the Lite is better in that category since it's $200 cheaper and is more portable and pocketable

@fiifi johnson thanks for the reply, I definitely made the "switch" to the Lite, and I feel like that was the best decision!!
@@itsShay_duh504 that’s what I’m talking bout!!
The switch lite is my favorite.I always keep that thang on me
For someone getting the switch for the first time ever should I just get the oled or v2?
I recommend you get the OLED.
@@LinkSergilBelmont thank you that's the one I ordered
@@BklynpimpstressHow's the oled for ya?
the ppi difference devinitely noticable in my case, but not that far
Which should I buy? The oled or the lite?
@@dee_hfgblank1617 Lite :) Iam buying it today
@@dee_hfgblank1617 go for oled
Which one has the best graphics between the three ?
They’re all the same as graphics go, the OLED just had better resolution and colors
@@thomaspeterson4346 it does not have better resolution
I wish they could make a switch lite dock that has the missing hardware and allows the lite to be played on TV/external display.
@SplashNotPro 🇺🇦 you're not clever, i literally mean make the Lite version a dock.
@@monstersmike4585 That just makes it a normal Switch
@@monstersmike4585 One Reason(A big one) the lite is cheaper is because it can’t be used for TV!
Well it would be a normal switch and cost a lot more money
... a regular switch
The best way nintendo can earn a huge amount of money is allowing lite version to connect to TV and i dont know if wireless controller work on lite
screen physical size : pixel density. no point having high dpi on a small screen. human eye limitation.
Hard to tell, i really really want to play Metroid Prime again, but euhm 440$ to play 2 games (+Pokemon) is kinda expensive. But the TV OUT option is also a must.
It too up to 2mins until he is talking about the switch, wow
Imo there's no point in getting the Oled the og Switch is better for Tv considering it's $100 cheaper than the oled and the main difference is the screen while the Lite is best for handheld since it works more like a traditional handheld being smaller and the controllers don't detach the oled is best for handheld but imo the Lite is better in that category since it's $200 cheaper and is more portable and pocketable
wat the last game called ur playing
Will the text in the switch lite be too small to read?
yes
Yes, i’m changing mine to oled model because i’m having trouble reading some texts in some games (e.g The Witcher 3). It’s been tough to me…47 years old…i’m getting old…
I thought that was for headphones and SPEAKERS
So i plugged them in and it made a noise that almost killed me
I bought a switch lite a month ago and had to sell it bcuz it was just to small for my hands to hold and use so I sold it and bought the new oled which actually fits my hand plus it’s nice to finally have oled andv4k
4K? Dunno where you got that from
@@Merkantoine lmao fr
@@LugiThePainDrinkerthe dock has nothing inside it that would upscale, it's compatible with HDMI 2.0, that's it. The switch OLED isn't. That just means that IF Nintendo were to release a 4k switch they could use the same dock
4K wht did u smoke
This Chris guys comment is complete bs. To anyone reading I’m 6”8 and have hands big enough to Palm a basketball. I just got the switch lite and no issues with it fitting in my hands or anything of the sort. Not everyone has sausage fingers like “Chriskorol4244”
The only problem I have with the nintendo switch doc and oled is the disconnection from the joycon. if I were anyone I prefer the doc only for the Doc and Oled handheld sucks! but if you're going to travel where ever I prefer the Lit version.
Bro you would pick a lite over the SWOLED 🤦🏻♂️
i know, and lite shouldn't have switch in it's name since it can't switch and not the best
i know, and lite shouldn't have switch in it's name since it can't switch and not the best
I use the normal switch but looking to upgrade to the oled model
I fell the OG Nintendo switch is the best for me because I don't want to spend $50 more just for a bigger screen and not the light because ti can not even switch I don't know why Nintendo thought that would be a good idea
Me watching this after buying a new phone: I should have bought the Nintendo Lite😭
I feel u bro, i really regret buying a legion tab, i should've went for the switch lite😢
unpatched switch is still best switch
Literally picked one up for 200 last week 😭 def worth it imo tho can’t beat cfw
Been truthful *Oled is the best *Standard switch is the 2nd best *lite is the 3rd best.
NRRR!?!?!
nintendo switch sales are slowing down a bit but i don’t see a new “switch pro” or what ever their next console next gen console is this year because of their 1st party game titles selling extremely good sales. even though their sales are slowing down i don’t see a switch pro any time soon. maybe 2024 at it’s earliest. and i think it wouldn’t make sense for nintendo to release a pro this year especially since the switch is still selling a very good amount as well as the exclusive games for it. if they would to release it now it would mess them up because everybody would go for the pro and the switch sales will drop a bunch and it’s currently still selling very good. that’s just me though!
Obviously The Nintendo Switch OLED is Better.
all that for an OLED screen and slightly larger screen, it's better?
@@nauyv... I own all Consoles from all Companies since ATARI n the other that don't exists.
Welp like i work for my own things, yeah is Better than the other Models.
40 seconds advert from TH-cam, then 1:55 minutes advert from the content creator, to watch a 9 minutes (after de advert) video... We were better with normal TV... 😔
Where i live the normal is 400, oled is 370 and the lite is 250😭
How tf
Got OLED for 250. And it was a bundle and a game version if the switch so I could've got it cheaper
Why is the lite even called a switch? What does it switch to or from? There's no dock!
Which one is your favorite switch ?
None pc gamer forever.
Fastest intro in existence
For me i just got the Regular, as a gift.
But its the one id choose at the end anyways
Perfect screen for bed, not too bright to kill my eyes.
Ability to Dock same as Oled. so i can Record Beautiful 1080p Switch footage with a capture card.
I pay 300£ for a unused OLED (:
Im waiting for switch 2 to kick in so I can get v2 cheaper
Lite is amazing. OLED is nice but unless it has beefed up hardware or you really need TV play, the lite has more benefits.
@ghosttiee9212he’s right…. If you’re playing handheld only the lite wins all day everyday
@ghosttiee9212I just got a brand new switch lite with nba 2k23 and Mario brand new for 175 bucks… you buy the switch oled and those two games you’re looking at almost 500…. The lite is better and that’s facts
@ghosttiee9212plus you’re buying all the extra bs… the Nintendo store subscription the extra sd card so by the time you’ve got your fancy oled switch one or two games to play and you’re all set up you’re in the hole 7-800 dollars maybe even more. Dude at that point wake up and smell the fresh air. Go buy an Xbox, Ps5 and or build a gaming pc. Switch oled is just another way to hype up garbage to people like you. Who probably have bought 2-3 switches since they’ve come out….
I'm having problems with the switch oled :( The screen hurts my eyes :( causing eye strain
why, isn´t there a brightness setting?
MUSH MOUTH THE FIRST 3 seconds of the video the hell he say…????
Lite is extremely hard to beat in
Portability

I'm not a bot trust me this is just for fun
What's up folks it's fhfhxdhxhd squad 0:00
i bought the oled because my switch hdmi thing was busted
to me switch lite is acssesory
lol if u played dis in 2x spped🤣
Switch pro to come sooner- 1 yr later.. nothing 😅
Face reveal at 8:00 Look at reflection.
Don’t ever buy a Switch Lite. I say just go for the OLED.
Why so drastic if i can ask?🤔
Long story short the regular switch offers better features.
Yeah bruh but some ppl are tight on budget or they don't have a TV or they rather playing in handheld mode, so it's quite worth it depending on your needs
Depends on ur needs my advice.
If you play hand held only go Lite
Tv only regular switch
If both hand Tv Oled
Well I have a PS5 for TV gaming. I brought the switch lite for handheld tf I want to play switch on the TV for that's dumb
Good❤
thumbs down for the switch lite recommendation.. that version is designed for children!!!
No? It's designed to be compact and portable. I own a v2 switch but I know someone who only plays portable and it is perfect size and design for portable only play.
@@grim9464 yes you are right it's very portable but that's about the only feature it has and it's cheaper than the normal version with pretty colours that will make a nice birthday gift for a kid. I've traded my lite for the oled version and in my opinion it does represent the best value for money for a switch!
@@sstainlesst I never said the oled wasn't the best value of all three but I disagreed with your statement that the switch Lite is JUST for children. There are the pretty color versions that are obviously marketed towards children and those with an eye for bright objects and even sleeker black and grey designs. It is Nintendo afterall. The original switch is marketed towards children just as much the lite.
That's kinda weird to say especially since nitendo games are generally for kids but that doesn't mean adults can't play them lol 😂 (I personally think that I'll buy the lite because I don't really watch TV or don't at all so their is no point to buy the original )
5:45 what game?
