I have both oled and lite and gotta admit i love Lite , good thing about oled is just the battery, trust me oled is not comfortable for handheld it's too heavy and bcz it's sharper than the other ones, it doesn't really look good bcz switch games graphics are not as smooth as ps4/ps5 games
I still love the lite’s form factor and total focus on portability. The Lite gives me that old school GameBoy happy vibe 😆 The only thing that would make me crack for an OLED is the screen size but I would lose some of that portability!!

I got lite and oled switch, and i found oled model not comfortable to play for a long session of gaming since it's a bit heavier than the last model, but the screen looks beautiful, I wish they make new switch lite with oled screen in the future

Interesting, so from this I can determine that the Lite model has a greener tint to it's colors, the base model has the most neutral colors and the OLED model leans hard into the reds. None are really bad looking from what I can see, more a matter of preference than anything.
not really. OLED's tend to be warmer since most have a magenta hue to them. On top of that as other commenters noted, he seems to have vivid mode active on the OLED variant, which also pushes all the colors and given the circumstance exaggerates the reds even more.

I’m planning to upgrade to OLED now cause I can’t stand the „cheap“ color accent. I watched many reviews before I got it, that say the graphic on lite version is as good as the normal one. But… Nope. Maybe it’s just on my switch tho, but idc I’ll still upgrade. The gaming experience is ruined already.
While Sony and Xbox brought their next gen consoles Nintendo probably won’t even bother releasing the successor of the Switch or at least a Switch Pro / New Switch in 2023 to 2024 while by then Sony and Microsoft would’ve probably released the PS5 Slim and Pro and new Series consoles. In 2023 / 2024 the Switch will be as old (or 1 year older) as the Wii in 2012 was when the Wii U was released.
Mine is very yellowish as well like in the video. Can’t say if it’s only „our“ switch lite or all switch lite tho. I hate it very much. I compared my lite with the normal version side by side, playing the same game, same scenes, etc… the lite one was still very yellowish.

The color saturation on the OLED was really obvious. It has a strong red tint. I find the Lite is the easiest on the eyes, while the the OG seems a little washed out but still good. i think the Lite is perfect. OLED may lead to eye-strain too with the bright colors and bigger screen.
Hardly worth the price difference. I'd rather a switch console with no controller or screen to go right into my TV. To go along with my Switch Lite. More vibrant colors aren't worth double the price.
The difference isn’t big enough for me to upgrade to the newer Switch (I have V1 Switch), I guess Nintendo used the cheapest OLED screens available on the market so the Switch won’t become much more expensive. I‘ll be waiting for the New Switch / Switch 2 / Switch Pro whatever it’ll be called.
The OLED Switch is $450 plus tax here in Canada. Crazy, way to expensive for an upgrade. Especially since their is no difference in docked mode. Plus it still has those twitchy joy cons. Nothing beats the form factor of the Lite.
As soon as I got my OLED Switch, I noticed that it has quite a red tint. It's still a great screen. Very bright (I usually have it at 50%), and great contrast of course. But the color balance could be more neutral. By comparison, my iPhone's OLED screen has much better color balance.

You can adjust the colour in settings , I’m pretty sure he has it on vivid mode in this video.
The soundstage is insane in this video I genuinely thought the sound was coming from my phone but it was just my earbuds.

The OLED offers better blacks and on this video it presents a reddish hue, but the Lite screen looks perfectly fine.

2. Contrast
3. Color tone cold vs warm give a huge difference but depending on personal
