    Also worth to mention, this also solves the ground hum issue caused by the first generation of power supplies that came with the Spark.

      Any owner of a spark with a noisy PS can get a new one for free from PG just by emailing them and letting them know there is an issue... I received my new grounded Hum free PS 3 weeks after reporting the hum from the ungrounded PS .

      @RaptorV1USA Thanks, we know. I also contacted them in August and got mine. We just thought it's worth mentioning that this would also solve this issue. Or better say, this solution is not causing such an issue.
      Cheers,
      Martin

      I figured you knew.... that was for others who may not still...
      PG isn't letting early buyers know of their PS replacement policy...hence my learning of it and emailing them 8 mo after purchase... they responded well.... fwiw I am in USA no idea what their intl policy is..
      Purch another Spark for a friend in Dec., it arr. w/ grounded PS.
      I also have the "Sheboygqnan" batt setup works great may have to look into this one the orig. model he found was replaced with a new one & only 1 i could get is white lol... prefer the black...and the voltage adj. Feature....
      Great video !

      Thanks a lot! Glad you liked it! Yeah, we're in Austria and they tried to talk their way out of this and requested proof of it, that it's the PS. I had to make a video of it, and they gave in after that one as it was plain obvious when it went away after plugging in the USB which then grounded it over my PC. Had to guide a friend of mine through this procedure of how to present the video to them as well, so they would accept it. After that though everything went smoothly. But it's good they replace it. Other companies might just show you the (virtual) middle finger.

    This is the way the Spark amp was meant to be. Excellent job.
    Can you post a link to your wireless guitar jacks?

    Apparently I'm the only one that hasn't found the Spark Bag for less than ransom-level prices. People are charging too much for those things.

    • @LMGuitarCorner
      @LMGuitarCorner  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can also use other bags, e.g. for the Kemper. Check article 403333 on the Thomann website for reference. Martin uses it and it works perfectly. Cheers, Lukas

    I would give my kingdom for a volume pedal!

    • @LMGuitarCorner
      @LMGuitarCorner  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Where would you want to place the volume pedal in your chain?
      If it's in the front, as a foot operated volume pot alternative, like most people do, then why not just place a regular one in front of it? I don't have a dedicated volume pedal, but the Clapton Midboost Pedal I made, has a volume on it I use in pretty much the same fashion. I've used it several times with the Spark and it works perfectly fine. Actually I'm surprised in general how well the Spark takes pedals.
      Cheers,
      Martin

    • @valueofnothing2487
      @valueofnothing2487 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@LMGuitarCorner Well I have an EQ, which I can use in a similar fashion, but it then greatly increases the amount of distortion if the volume increases. So, I really need it in a effects loop.
      I just returned a Line Pod Go thinking it's pedal might work, but I couldn't get it to sound as good as the Spark.

    • @LMGuitarCorner
      @LMGuitarCorner  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ok, I think I got you. So you pretty much want to control what they call "output" on the Spark with the volume pedal. To be honest, for that I only have one idea but it feels more like a dirty hack to me than a solution and I'm not sure if it would cause other problems. That would be replacing that said pot with a jack and a volume pedal with just that pot inside. So pretty much just rewiring that pot far away from the amp.
      Cheers,
      Martin

    • @valueofnothing2487
      @valueofnothing2487 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@LMGuitarCorner Never would have thought of that. That's brilliant.

    • @LMGuitarCorner
      @LMGuitarCorner  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@valueofnothing2487 Thanks, you'd lose your regular output volume though and you'd be forced to use that pedal at all times. Also, I'm not sure how precise you can control it with your foot. Pretty sure, you can't use it in a regular Volume/Wah pedal fashion, as the pots in there only have about half the turning distance of a guitar pot and I think the ones of the Spark have a similar one like the ones on a guitar. I would probably make it similar to how I've made the volume on my Clapton Midboost Pedal. We have two videos on it, a tutorial and a demo. You can see there, how I've made it.
      Cheers,
      Martin

    That looks way more efficient than mine. A box full (240 kg) of deep cycle batteries and an inverter. That I call my box o tricity. It runs the whole camp site for an evening. If ya keep things reasonable.

      Hey Riadh. The one we have is a Xoro MBP 2005 and we bought it on Amazon DE. Unfortunately this exact one is no longer available, but the link still works which should help you in finding an alternative with a similar capacity.

      No, you need 19v DC, 2.5A. Please watch the video again, we talk about this between minute 1 and 2. Cheers

      The battery we used already came with the proper jack. It's a 5.5mm x 2.5mm DC Jack. I hope this answers your question. We forgot to name the jack as ours already came with it and it is a standard used on Notebooks with 19V DC input, sorry for that.
