You did a great job on your bags. Maybe I will attempt. I think it’s smart following exactly what is told. It’s like making a recipe. My husband decided to cook after he retired. So he would just throw spices and things together. Let’s just put it this way, most of them were not edible. I told him you need to make the recipe a couple times and then if you want to diverse from it you can. he started using the recipes making them the way that they said, and they turn out pretty good. Then after that, he would change the recipe recipe a little bit. Sometimes it would work sometimes not. It’s like sewing I guess you need to follow that instructions tell you really know what you’re doing and then if you wanna try something different it’s OK, have a great week
Hey Alanna! I’m also doing 24 in 24 next year, as part of WIP Warriors. Sounds like the Jingle Ball was fun, I wanted to go but I chickened out of buying a ticket. Maybe next year lol - take care, Nic x
Love to see your pieces, but your video was foggy on both my iPad and TV. Never happened with any of your other Flosstubes, but thought you should know. Have a wonderful Christmas!
I’m doing the same blackbird stitch but I noticed u forgot the bottom of the top right tree. Hope you didn’t frame it, yet. Looks great. Can’t wait to finish mine.
Your stitching is beautiful!😊I put my stitching aside for the month of December. Between baking, putting up the tree and decorating the house and gift wrapping, that is enough for me. Have to get ready for out of state family also.
I only used one skein of cayenne on this joyous season. If you read the pattern (which I did not ) it says to use 2 strands of cayenne for house and 2 strands of arrowhead for ground. I didn’t read that correctly myself. I used 1 strand and 1 skein! I am happy with the coverage. I should get mine finished tomorrow so I can get it framed for Christmas. Yay. Your project bags looked great. Enjoy Christmas with the family. Merry Christmas.
Try using headphones or Airpods with you laptop. My guess is the laptop's microphone is picking up what's coming your of the speakers. Hope that helps.
Why don’t you make the Go Tell It for yourself? Tell your daughter that you think of her every time you look at it. Someday she may ask you for it or tell you that she really loves it. Then you can give it to her? In my experience, cross stitchers like cross stitch-most other people don’t. I had some frustrating experiences with my mom and grandma when I was in my 20’s and 30’s. I’m in my late 50’s now and I still don’t like some of the things that they made. Others I cherish dearly. They are both gone now, but certain things speak to your heart. Sometimes it’s better to let people find what speaks to them and makes their heart smile.
Love your finishes and your progress on your wips. Your ornaments are so sweet. Happy stitching!
The ornaments are so cute. Can’t wait to see your wip parade.
Thank you!

Thank you so much for that! I don’t read the chart correctly either 😂
In looking at the Christmas Rose stitch, is there part of the upper right tree missing?
Yes it is! Thank you so much for pointing that out!
Nice finishes. I think your tree in Black bird design is not complete.❤
Thank you! I had not noticed that!
Those bag turned out so well!!

Yes, it seems that the older they get the harder it is plus, when the grandkids start working it is even more tricky....sure hope it turns out.
Thank you!
You must try to go to the ball...it is so much better than last years. Just great. Love your 'Repeat the sounding Joy' yes, so pretty.
