I don't have too many fears, but ladders/scaffolding are an instant no for me. I despise heights, I get vertigo so bad (obviously the rocking of the ladder doesnt help). Even if I'm on the ground and I look up at a tall structure, I get extremely light headed lol. Love your vids peg! Been a fan for years

In 2012,at the Napa auto parts,near me.there were some guys working on the roof and there was a guy standing on the top of a extension ladder that was in a scissor lift that was being lifted 8ft by a minty ol,forklift.
here's hoping Peg doesn't ever need to find out why scissor lifts have a manual lowering valve under one of the covers 😂 really comes in handy when the damn thing pops a fuse and you're too high to try jump. Worked for a scissor lift hire outfit a few years back. As usual with rental gear, shit gets broken in really weird ways. Best one was being called out to a site where a guy on one of the big units was stuck 18m up and the lift wouldnt go down. He called wanting us to bring out a crane and man basket to get him, instead he got me in a hatchback. opened the panel, pulled the valve and down she came no problem. turns out the absolute muppet had been using a gas axe on a roof truss and set it down onto the control panel while it was still burning 😅 completely melted the wiring, relays and switches inside the box. $8k in damage plus $2.5k to crane it off the site and haul back to the depot.
