I actually purchased the diamond sand paper discs with adhesive backing. I drew that silver line on the batts to get me relatively centered when I stuck them down. Space is an issue, so I did them two sided on plastic batts. Thanks for watching!
Something I just found out is that you can rub the bottom of one pot against the bottom of another. It smooths out the clay bumbs on the bottom. I was surprized out fast it works. It won't work on the glazed parts.
Thank you. This answers something I was truly curious about!
I'm glad you found some useful information!
Such a creative and beautiful work
Thank you so much!
This is a great idea! What did you use to glue the diamond discs to the bats?

I like that. I'd never get to it without the self-adhesive. On both sides, if you find one, you've found them both.@@patspotpage
@@pottersjournal Thanks!

You can, but they get much smoother this way. When I'm done, the unglazed foot is almost as smooth as the glazed parts.
Hi Pat, are you he one watching Sarah live? I’m the one with the same kiln as yours (if your that Pat…lol). I could really use some help with my kiln.
Hi Pam, yes, I'm the same one. I'll be glad to help you. My email should be in the video notes or you can message me through FB.
