    Never really thought abt standad revolvers for sustained damage thats the first time in a while an ultrakill video actually made me learn smth new

    Something you didn't talk about with standard revolvers is revolver swapping. You can't do that with slabs, and it's genuinely a pretty insane amount of infinite sustained damage. By binding a specific variant slot to a key (for me, it's variant slot 1 on C), you can even revolver swap with only one standard revolver. I loved your very hot takes on weapons, thanks for the cool video!

    W core enact jackhammer you can use a rocket you’re riding to cause a nuke. The angle is rather specific, but it is really good. You can always jump off the side of the arena (which also clumps up enemies nicely at the edge) and come back up with a nuke, not requiring any railgun charge either. On top of that, you can hit an enemy while riding the rocket for a red-gauge hit, meaning you can escape the blast, too

      As another Ultrakill player, I do say yeah do that
      but also
      Try around and experiment, this is how good the weapons ARE in his opinion, but yours may be different, it’s just as likely you play better with a difference in weapon usage

      As another ultrakill player, im genuinely going to say do not follow this tier list as much as possible. In ultrakill the game is as easy as you make it, the weapons are so well balanced that everything is useful in many aspects. Plus, some weapons on this tier list are better for intricate tech, not beginners. And some "bad" weapons on this list are much better for beginners. Just go with weapons you like. Make sure you try out as many weapons as you can, because occasionally there's an "i understand it now" moment and it becomes your new weapon. Like, its so possible to use a single weapon for the whole game and win, no weapon is inherently bad. Do whatever.
      TLDR: dont follow tier list, its adapted for pros, experiment around,

      @@sileudies some of his points are good, but yeah, just play around, find a build you like and go with it
      I use the slab sharpshooter a lot despite it being a very niche weapon

      My advice is to find some tech you think is cool and incorporate it into the bog standard "shooter" gameplay as much as you find comfortable, this will be a much easier path to doing cool shit than simply trying to replicate what others do. I'm personally a huge fan of the core eject jakchammer for it's crazy coin synergies, but do whatever you think you find enjoyment in. For what it's worth, I agree with the majority of what the video said, but tier lists are not a rule to live by they're just an assessment of the overall reasonable applications of the weapons.

    I feel like core eject jackhammer deserves strong option. Similar to shotgun quick killing, if you just use a knuckleblaster punch in the little hitstop when hitting with any jackhammer, you can actually instakill maurice with yellow speed, bypassing the 7 second cooldown. Using knuckleblaster with red speed (or pump charge pumped once at yellow speed), you can also instakill sentries.

  • @valaudanum
    @valaudanum วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    screw and blue jack deserve strong option, but other than that i agree with this tiering. screw combos go crazy and a 7 damage hitscan explosive projectile cleans up every single enemy known to man.

  • @viperonline4716
    @viperonline4716 2 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

    The video is pretty good and i agree with most of the placements but i think two of the weapons there could be higher like the:
    - Blue jackhammer which in my opinion is better at core nukes than the shotgun, while yes the core is closer and it could self damage you, shooting the core with the malicious railcannon at the same time you shoot, and the difference is that you can create even more damaging core nukes because you can position yourself right between the enemies and create a core explosion around you, and also the hitscan feature of hitting the core with the jackhammer has also makes it work well with coins, expecially in the cybergrind if you are falling down in the air and you can hit the coin easier with the core dealing a more damaging explosion even more damaging than the malicious railcannon(the simple left-click not nuke)
    -The green Marksman, i believe its on the same tier as the normal marksman, while yes the new splitcoin mechanic of the slab can also be done by the other slab revolvers, with the green version you dont have to always switch to hit a coin, and because of that if you hit your coins one at a time(like throw coin, splitcoin, throw coin splitcoin) you can deal 20 damage very quickly only using the alt marksman
    But thats my opinion, anyways great video

    the screwdriver+green alt shotgun allows for the quickest mindflayer kill you can imagine

      He didn’t say it’s completely useless though, just niche. Really good at certain parts, but not really good at others.
      This is probably the best Ultrakill tier list video I have ever seen because it doesn’t undervalue the others, including the Screwdriver

    the alternate red revolver should definetly be a strong option for its easy damage potential when combined with 1 coin and grappling onto an enemy and for his nieche use with projectiles especially usefull when dealing with airborne mindflayers
    whilst the red shotgun being realtively useless

    • @CamelLizard4703
      @CamelLizard4703 3 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Actually. You just need to get really creative with the red shotgun.
      Its like a secondary screw driver when using it good. You can do so much damage with the chainsaw shotgun that it isnt even funny anymore.
      Example you can use the knuckleblaster to break it off of the chain so it becomes a weaker screw driver.
      Place a Magnet and hit the chainsaw with the knuckleblaster and bam you one shot bosses like Minos. Ofcourse there are more uses like in the weezer room where you line up the chainsaw and then launch it and then when you punch it use the knuckleblaster to unchain it for insane damage.

    Gotta agree with pretty much everything, except for the blue jackhammer. I think u underestimate how spammable it is, i mean if u look at the too cybergrind runs, i dont think saying the weapon is "niche" is a fair statement. Best in slot is where i would put it.

    what about slabcoining with the slab piercer? that deals way more damage than the railgun and an unbelievable amount more than the default piercer because that has normal splitshots (useless against bosses)

    I never understood the love for the green pistol. Maybe its use is instakilling bosses, but i dont really do that. Shooting a tiny coin during heated combat is almost impossible and the damage isnt worth it when i can just use other guns

    • @Mira_Mus
      @Mira_Mus วันที่ผ่านมา +8

      Because the coin adjusts to the players momentum, it’s more of a timing thing if you don’t move your camera or current velocity, so with practice it can be a lot easier to use. Also shooting coins directly above you is super easy. The reason why it’s so commonly used is because of the raw damage it can do. By just throwing 4 coins and hitting the last one with a slab piercer, that’s a TON of damage. Not even mentioning railcoin tech that allows for heavy boss-killer damage. Outside of anything practical there’s also dead coining which literally lets you insta-kill either prime soul. The coin has a lot of different interactions as well as generally being a strong source of damage. I know that’s a lot but I highly recommend trying it out in the sandbox and experimenting to learn why everyone else likes it so much

    • @DKdrop
      @DKdrop วันที่ผ่านมา

      Meaning no disrespect, you're very wrong. If nothing else, you can pretty easily hit the coin if you throw it vertically. The damage isn't great in and of itself, but the point is to combo with other weapons. If you practice a bit, it's not that hard to consistently get off railcoins or slabcoins, which both deal absurd single target damage. It's not great at dealing with fodder enemies, but it can be combo'd with other strategies to provide additional damage (for instance, the coins are conductive, so if you just toss some out during a shock, you're instantly extending the range and increasing the damage of the shock).
      Bottom line: it's a utility weapon, not a dps weapon. If you're hitting the coins with the pistol, you're using it wrong.
