I really like this whiskey. Happened to be in Clermont right after Beam released this and picked up a couple of bottles. Its all over Chicago now. Its great at bottle proof and personally I like this better than regular Baker’s. I do wish it was $65 instead of $75.
Glad I'm not alone in feeling like 65 would make all the difference in the world. I've seen this a few places for 80 as well. 65 makes this feel like a post inflation regular buy.
Might be worth a part pour down the road as this is a bourbon with higher rye vs a rye whisky like that knob, but you're likely right that they're similar enough.

Correction, shockingly this is more like a 27% rye mashbill, sure doesn't taste it.
sounds like a skip for me, i wasnt big on the knob cask rye a few years back, for similar reasons to whats described here
