Happy New Year brother. Wish you all the best in 2024. Nice mic by the way, but I just bought the K669D and love it.

Praise the Lord brother! Nice video!
Could you compare the SR117 with the Rode M2 and the SE X1A condenser?
    Thanks!

Mike I would like to see a head to head with the FiFine K669D. $37 vs $200 for audio quality and noise rejection. Food for thought.

How did you attach the mic to the boom arm? Did the mic come with an attachment for the boom arm, or did the boom arm already have something that worked with the mic.
Newbie when it comes to mics, apologies if this is a dumb question

The Earthworks mic does come with an attachment to connect to boom arms. 👍🏻

As a stage mic, similar to the SM58, and SM57 mic placements is huge for vocal mics that are designed to capture great detail in the 5k-16hz frequencies. But wanted to leave that in the review for those wanting to use it for podcasting and try to place it close like you do with the SM7B. When you place the mic 4-6 inches away… problem solved. To see the difference..check out the last few videos I used it. No plosives at all. 😁👍🏻

Get a $12 Shure A85WS and leave a 1/4-1/2in gap between the grille and the foam. Kills all the pops for me and doesn't look too obtrusive or huge.
