Whatever we had an abundance of or needed to use up quick we made into fritters. We even would make some with apples, any kind of berries and throw in some pears. It’s such a wonderful and versatile dish.

My dad loved it although it was just a bit different, my mom would make it with chickpea flour instead of wheat and thinly sliced eggplant instead of shredded. Ah, so many memories came back of my dad, childhood and granddad. I will make these on weekend and thank you so much. ❤
My mom used to make this recipe back in the 80s, with gram flour! The shallots were already in the batter mix. Thanks for refreshing my memories. I will make it for my family soon! Thanks for sharing the upload.

@@hperera886 there are plenty of vegan recipes of this type if you are interested. You can used shredded cabbage and chickpea flour to make pakodas. You can make delicious gravy and put these pakodas in it. Then there are various koftas (just like chinese manchurian dishes). You can make banana kofta, bottlegourd kofta etc.
@@hperera886 So far i did in his other receipt, the one is a egg plant pie, but before I did in other recipes and always works. Is half banana to substitute one egg. The ideal is the banana not so sweet, so the one is more green. But last time I had only the yellow one and the pie was really taste. 😘
