Another excellent video Greg. It's definitely a great way to target squid, getting the weather, tides, and time off work all to align is the hardest part.
I absolutely LOVE your enthusiasm, Greg. It doesn't have to be a big red to get your huices flowing! Thanks for the reminder that bread and butter is exciting too!
Thanks heaps mate. I love all types of fishing but I do have a soft spot for visual fishing in shallow clean water like that. You get to see and learn so much. Cheers mate
Aloha Greg Greeting from Hawaii. Wow!!! I never knew this was posible. I just recently found your channel and will be going through your library of videos. I have only just started but have learned quite a bit from the few Ive seen so far. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Hopefully your channel will blow up soon you deserve a larger following. It's one of the best fishing channels on TH-cam. Mahalo
Aloha mate. Thank you so much for the kind words it's greatly appreciated. I'm glad you're enjoying my content and continue to do so. It's great hearing from other countries and a big Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you. Cheers
if you put some fish scent onto those squid jigs 100% of the time they will come back in force after that first love tap. would make a good comparison video
light colour squid means they are finicky, if you use dark colour jigs, like black or dark red will get better chance to hook them up,specially in the cystal clear water
in the shallows over the sand they're generally always light in colour. At times they will nail any squid jig thrown at them, other times they won't touch anything no matter the colour or size of the jig.
Awesome yet again mate! My boat's too big but a mate of mine recently got a 4.2m flat bottom tinny which would probably be perfect for squidding..... Any general tips for Moreton bay? Conditions etc? We'd be making the trip up from Coffs (no squid here) so general pointers on the area appreciated 🙂

Always good commentary Greg makes it enjoyable viewing , another quality vid on the tube mate 👍🎣
Thanks heaps mate a lot of work goes into doing that so good to see it pay off. Cheers mate.

Another great video Greg, Squid fishing is my fav and my best spot is Amity point
Thanks mate. Yep it's so much fun.
That drone and squid flick was sensational to see. I know how hard it can be to do both. 🙌
Thanks mate glad you enjoyed it. I loved filming that one.
Unreal, that’s some bloody good squid!
Thanks mate glad you liked it
Great video mate. Love the drone footage.
Thanks mate. Yep drone footage is the best
that was epic thank you for the inspiration!
thanks mate I'm glad you enjoyed it. Cheers
Sensational 👍 I felt that pain with the drone Batteries 🥵
Thanks mate. Hahaha yep I couldn't believe it :-(
🦑🦑 Very cool stuff, mate.
Thanks mate pretty stoked to capture that footage
That footage is just awesome. Did you disturb many flattys?
thanks heaps mate. Only one small one.
Awesome video, moving down from Townsville at the end of year, give me a target species. Where do you launch from?
Thanks mate. I leave from Cleveland point generally.
amazing video! can i ask where is it in moreton bay?

Done that plenty of times over the years and found it works great in deeper water but hit and miss in shallow water.

Dam wish I can get a nice video of me catching one.
Hard work getting them on the drone but highly rewarding

Thanks mate. Just low tides around the banks with glassed out conditions mate. They can be hit and miss so making the journey can be risky.
I can sight cast for squid almost any where around Australia. So what makes this the "ultimate" sight casting for squid.
Hahaha good for you mate. I loved to see your aerial footage of this, got any links to it?
jealousy is a curse.😂
Sconed him right on the head
hahaha one very unlucky squid that one lol
great job mate
Thanks mate much appreciated.
