Mate, it's your channel, you upload as much or as little as you like. You need time away occasionally for Omi and family. Everyone needs a break. If anyone complains then it's tough on them. I for one will always support your channel no matter how much or little videos you produce. I've followed you for some time now and supported your channel. I work for a charity with kids. We work with them 1 to 1, one of the options they have is fishing, using the method is definitely the best way of fishing with them and a few of them have moved on and got their own kit. Them coming in the next week and telling me what they have caught is priceless. If your ever in Suffolk and fancy showing us how to do it properly feel free to come and grab a cuppa 😉
I started carp fishing a few weeks ago. Got about 20-30 hours under my belt.
Caught my first carp yesterday, 7.1lbs

Carl, about three and a half years ago I had a massive change in my work. I left a cushy little job making paint for my model building sponsor. I decided to go and build sheds for a living. I'm 5,6 and at the time I weighed 14st. Now after 42 months I weigh 10st 8oz and have never felt better. I have said before your videos have inspired me to do more fishing. This has had an effect on my boss who now comes weekends fishing with me. We have a great social and are now really good friends. Living in the Waveney valley I have access to The Waveney and multiple lakes for silvers and of course Carp. I live about 5 miles from the lake you and Alex fished in Homersfield and that one is on my bucket list. Because of you and the Monster Carp boys my Mojo for fishing has got to red status lol. Without taking a risk, and a job, not knowing if I could actually do it anymore. It turned out to be the best move I could of made.
Sometimes change is good and sometimes change is great. For me it has been great. I hope the same works for you.

You have such a calm manner, which helps loads when explaining anything to do with fishing, and you know what? It doesn't matter how much you upload... it's always quality.
ALSO, I night fished at a Cat lake in Bedfordshire a couple of weeks back, and lost some big ones, I couldn't keep them. My 20lb line kept breaking. THEN at about 3am I got caught in the storm of storms it was scarily exciting.
I blanked, not sure what to do to about the line... as can't use braid on this lake.
Myself and my family will always watch your videos nomatter what or how often. Seen them all at least once. All the best from north Wales 💙
I don't know why but I always find Fish with Carl so relaxing...I think it something to do with his positive mindset even on the days when the fish are not biting...I wish I had half of his positive attitude when fishing...I am trying to say to myself better luck next time when I am on the river bank not catching anything but weeds or twigs Lol.

I respect that you went down the line of putting together *fishing kits* that are genuinely useful, provide an actual service to people rather than go down the route of *_"Mystery Boxes"_* like many businesses and fishing YTers have. Mystery boxes have always been such a horrendous scam. This sets you well above most YTers in my book.
Obviously its always down to a person to make their own personal judgement if they want to participate in mystery boxes or not but that sort of stuff is basically gambling and such a blight on society. The only people that benefit from it are the businesses that are running it and the mouth pieces that advertise it for them.
Hopefully we'll see more kits available on your website soon! (I would be interested in seeing some Sea Fishing kits. I live about 60-80miles from the nearest coast but i'd be down for throwing some lures in an estuary, docks or some pier at some point. You would streamline much of the process for me)
Been carp fishing for a few years and just got some method feeder rods given to me the timing has been great to get this kit saves me messing around

You inspired me and your brothers videos to catch a river carp last few years. Had 2 pike and plenty of bream. Finally had one this season end of July. Trying to catch the 2nd. It isn't easy. Took few seasons alot of blanks
never done feeder fishing in the 20 years I've fished lol, just ordered the kit whilst watching haha so I look forward to giving it a go. thanks carl!
As someone who has fished for almost 45yrs of my life I’ve had more blanks than I can remember even blanked on pools that I fished for years and had large nets and some big fish but when I needed a big net I got a big fat 0.

Agree with the other comments mate. You do what you want at the end of the day. You don’t want it becoming a chore for you. Keep it as something you love doing. Plus, the river? Is it a well known stretch or quite secluded? Was you able to see much fish through the water at all? As there’s always the chance some have been taken or poached unfortunately. Plus I guess you see the catastrophic event that happened at Tom from snagged bros stretch of canal. It seems some people are hell bent on ruining our beautiful waterways. Good stuff for helping the guys fix the dam also.
I'll tell you something Carl, I've watched you (and yr bro) for years. I know change is part of life, cus I'm old ! But seeing the changes you're swimming with, it's all good. Go with the flow mate 👍

Hi Carl, another great video and thanks for making it. Those Method feeder kits are such a great idea and just think how many more people will get into fishing because of what you do. With regards to your video and uploads, you have to do what works for you and your life. People shouldn’t complain as people don’t pay to watch your content. The quality of your videos is amazing so you should be very proud of what you do and achieve.
You do what you need to do buddy! A TH-cam video is not the matter of life or death! Health and home comes first.

I would say that I could sign up to be your new camera man since I love to film and to fish. But lets be honest, probably far from a good idea for two complete strangers to just start doing this in just a short moment. We all love the quality of the videos as is pal, once you start going after better production you will fall on constancy or run yourself into the ground trying to keep up!!! I think I speak for all your viewers when I say we love your videos and the production value you bring, but we'd still rather see the quantity you produce stay the same more than better quality but less content, just my view😊 hope this helps!!

Been watching yull since you had 2.6k subs. I am always learing from your videos and hope one day to join you and learn more. You have always explain things in such an understanding way which most fishermen cant do. Keep it up
I much prefer (myself) the less (and 'greater') content. It means I can more happily go back and watch them again as great pieces of 'content'. The 'quick' and 'lots' approach is good.... but it tends not to age well! (in my opinion). Took Hayes and Brown months simply to put together 6 x 30 min episodes for 'Rod Race', etc.! Will be interesting to see 'which way you go' with content also. I sensed the move of fishing towards the more 'modern / beastificaiton' approach (I know, sounds terrible hah). This video already feels slower, and more like the older older content (which I loved more). Either way, I'll be watching hah!

Love your videos, you inspired me to start TH-cam, amongst another couple creators, as much as I’d like you to upload more, I know if you did that’d mean production would be rushed and then you’d have viewers moaning that your video quality is bad, you’ll never 100% win but please keep doing what you’re doing!
