Lots of people bash this pistol. Bought mine in February 214 out the door. Put over 500 rounds through it. Not a single malfunction of any kind. Like the yellow on black. Little yellow jacket. Small but mean lol. I love mine.
Very much appreciate all the information Paul I just purchased the same pistol in 40 caliber Smith & Wesson a week ago got about a hundred rounds through it I love it
Hey Pat. How are you making out with those BAT shotties? Hope ya got them to the point you're happy. Give your pup an ear scratch for me. Ours is growing like a weed. 12 weeks old today and already 20 lbs. He's gonna be a monster. Hope this finds you and yours well.
Good video! 💪 hey one thing, have you thought about upgrading that polymer Guide Rod and polymer Striker to the Stainless Steel versions? It dramatically improves that Gun in a number of ways, it makes the Trigger and the Break a good amount more Crisp, you'll get better actuation of the Slide, and these stiffer components also improve the felt recoil of that Gun. The Spring rate also seems to be heavier on the replacement Guide Rods which I believe contributes to an overall reduction in Muzzle Flip. Try them out! Me and my Buddies weren't disappointed when we upgraded. It was a noticeable improvement. Lakeline LLC is the Website that has these 2 parts. Galloway Precision only has the Guide Rod, Lakeline has both for sale.
I just got the same gun as my first pistol waiting on my permit cause I live in ny but besides acouple performance mods I’m going to do everything you did in a red to match fiberobtic front site thanks sir great work
WOW! I don't know how I missed this video! That was AWESOME how to video! You should do a green one to match the "Chop top Ranger"! Love the smiley face!! 👍
Paul, Brownell's sells India Stones in different courses like fine, very fine which you can polish triggers, slides and rails very easy. What's really good about them is there straight and ridged to get in thight spot's like a scaple for fine detail work. They last forever too :)
Looks good, not a fan of the face...but never would have thought yellow would work this good...I got my OD green 9mm G2C with a TLR-6 #69290 lazer light combo ($93 shipped) and planning on color filling with OD green as well.
Cool It's different for sure I like the smiley face I'd never even thought about that haha!....My G2C has the full stainless steel Lakeline LLC upgrades except for the sights, haven't done that yet and my barrel is completely polished to a high mirror shine!! I'm hopeing that Trijicon will come back out with night sights for the Taurus G2 & G2C that's why I'm kinda waiting on doing the sight upgrade.

That is by far the happiest Taurus I so for ages :-D Kinda reminds me of the Watchmen. I just love how crystal clear it sounds when you work that slide. Almost like a fine instrument made by the great masters back from the Olden Days. Not bad. Not bad at all. It went so well with my tea and sunday cookie.
Could have saved a lot of time using polish and a soft wheel on a bench grinder for the barrel. Shines like chrome.. Nice to see a fellow enjoy his work.. Nice job...
The striker guide in the G2 and G3 series don't like to be oiled. usually gotta take the back plate off and q tip them clean. My SD9 and Glock 17 could care less but the Taurus striker guns not so much.
I think RED would look much nicer but it is my favorite color and I am not a fan of Yellow. RED would pop with the Black but I can’t make myself put any paint on mine except maybe on a sight.
Amazing job! It looks great. Can you paint the barrel? Maybe not use polish (unless it works. I'm all in for anything that will work) but some other type of paint? Maybe cerakote? I want to have my barrel and the lettering a copper color. Thanks!
HA, love the smiley face, got smiley face (have a nice day) grips on my 150yr anniversary colt SS gold cup NM. I like the g2c, it's an outstanding value. got the FDE ver. so to ceracote the slide the same an color fill in black. I will carry it every now and then so i do trust my life to it.
Brake Cleaner can Harm some Polymers! I ruined a pair of Walther Grips years ago and accidentally got it on a Wooden Stock which it Stripped! May I suggest Carburetor Cleaner, just Neutralize with Hoppe’s 9 afterward.
Sweet....But the barrel and the sqaure part on it...add mothers to microfiber cloth and work it by hand until you start seeing the rag turning black...then use a clean part of the microfiber...takes about 15 mins ....the WHOLE barrel will be chrome
Taurus made a bad impression on me 40 years ago. I had bought a revolver 25 I shot it about 5 times . at the time I did not know a lot about firearms. Every time I shot it it spits lead out the side One time I was in front of my John boat my buddy was in the back I shot at a snake in front of the boat a piece of lead hit my buddy in the cheek I threw that pistol into the Brazo river
Doug Cook I’ve seen some revolvers do that. I wouldn’t disqualify one company over one gun. I also wouldn’t praise them over one either. But I own several and I can’t complain about any Taurus.

Can you polish the serial number??? I was told by a police off that if there is ANY I mean ANY scratches or tarnish over the serial numbers to leave it alone. The ATF WILL CHARGE you for tampering with the serial number no matter what

Hoppes #9 gun oil.

Q: What other magazines can be made to fit the 9mm Tarus G2C ?

It is fingernail polish.
