It is well worth the investment into the reverse bleeder kit. You push fluid and air up to the resevoir. Tough pill to swallow initially, but well worth it even if you only work on your household vehicles
Can't wait! I'm elbows deep in my 85 GM Stepside. If my truck even breathes a breath of braking, similar to my C6 Z I'll be smiling like Yogi into a picnic basket :-) Awesome video, thanks and cheers from Canada :-)
Great video. I have bought the Little Shop big brake kit for my 66 Lincoln because that's a lot of car to stop! Still have a ways to go before installing them but your video was informative. Going to watch your front install next. Keep up the great work.
94 OBS 5-7 drop. Been thinking about this brake kit, thanks for tip on stock master cyclinder, booster and valve. Made my decision much easier. Nice truck
Drums are actually very strong, and if you don't race or use them hard/ or never have much weight in the back they are doing very very little over stock. If he did not have bif tyres back there they would just lock up the back due to lack of weight/weight shift and you end up having to take power away from them with a proportioning valve, that's why so many cars/truck don't have 4 wheel discs as stock. They do look good though.
Iv Just done a rear disc brake conversion on my pick up, same thing using factory booster and proportioning valve for disc/drum, what I can see my master cylinder has no residual valve in it and I’m having a big issue with the rear brakes not releasing after stopping, it will slowly realease after a minute or so, you didn’t happen to have the same thing happen?
@GreaseMonkeyTV no but seriously... love the work. I have 3 squarebody suburbans and getting to see the products and process really helps me decide where I want to be with them. Keep it up!!!
I love it! “Push down…..”

Sick truck
Use the box end of a wrench to remove parking brake cable clips from backing plate. Just slide it over the end push it over clips.
Good call!!
I think upgrading your rear brakes to disc brakes is one of the best Investments you can make

What differential are you running?
th-cam.com/video/OiXEug-ttUE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=KC4cfE_0qvVB2iun
Do you mean brand or ratio? if you mean ratio you need to work with your own used tyre size and trans 4th ratio.
Is ur brake pedal same height before u switched over to disc ??
Yes. That doesn’t change.
Nice👍🏼
Appreciate that.
