Are all the comments saying "I remember when cologne humor was funny" and "bring back the old CH videos" an inside joke? Or is it a group of people who are blindly saying it because they saw others say it?
I think it started off as legitimate criticism but now has turned more into a joke. The creators have even recognized it at the end of one of the videos.

I'm laughing because I totally get the feeling. I watched all of Alias and was equally frustrated with that show. So when Lost started after Alias ended and I realized it had a similar vibe and included the same creators I said "Nope, not gonna watch this. The mysteries will go nowhere, take forever and have an unsatisfying ending." And by all accounts I was right, I felt like freaking Nostradamus! :) (That's an Alias joke, but I'm probably the only one who gets it so never mind....)
Why college humour was better back in the day, and why it sucks today: Past collegehumor: - Huge crew (or so it seemed with the constantly changing actors and cast) - POV - Troopers - Precious Plum - Dinosaur office (ROAAAR) - Batman - Lots of cartoons - Sketches (always funny) Today's collegehumor: - Sketches (occasionally funny) - Drawfee (ZzZzZz) - ????? WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THE REST ?!!!
Lost was terrible. I watched the whole thing expecting some revelation that would make sense of everything, then it ended without any explanation of wtf had been going on the whole time. The explanation I heard that makes the most sense was that the main writer was contracted to the show but wanted out, so he wrote the most fucked up story he could think of to get fired. However, the show was a hit and he had to keep writing lol.
Prometheus almost had me screaming at the screen it was so annoying. The dumbest most inconsistent characters ever and they were supposed to be scientists. The movie feels like it was made up on the spot and they were constantly forgetting what happened in the last scene. I don't say this lightly, I love Ridley Scott and Alien, but this movie really sucked.
Prometheus was not actually a good movie.. But Lindelof wasn't to blame. The initial script he wrote was pretty much the same as the final one exept it answered most of the questions and the characters in it were better. For example: the scientists acted like actual scientist and the main character's boyfriend wasn't some drunk douchebag and the love they felt for each other felt genuine rather than forced.

And the writers have always said that they had some form of answer for every question they introduced in the show, even if that answer was only fairly vague at the time they wrote it. (And the show supports that notion.)

Perfect. That was the best thing Lindelof has ever produced, and the only project he's been on that makes sense and has a satisfying and rational conclusion. I wonder why he didn't call it "Watchmen" since it has as much to do with Alan Moore's masterpiece as his current show that goes by that name.
I haven't watched Lost but the unknown in The Leftovers was the point. The show wasn't about the departure but about the hopelessness and uncertainty it causes. If they had given an explanation for it then they would ruin the show
Bad news, heard Tomorrowland suffers the same fucking shitty payoff issues at the end. Even Brad Bird couldn't save it from being a turd. Also its an issue when other filmmakers start doing that same shit. The whole world praises Les Revenants but that French show has the same bloody issues as if its written by Lindelof.
That's Adam Lustick from Harvard Sailing Team. He was also on some later seasons of The Office where he played a coworker of Jim's at that sports job thing he had.

Glad I came to Lost kinda late, after I had heard so many people yell about none of the mysteries paying off. Then I could just force myself to not care to much about them and just enjoy Terry O'Quinn, all the daddy issues, and how insanely hot they all were.
I just thought a better story line: the eye patch guy was "trapp's" guide, and would sometimes appear with a new answer to a secret puzzle. 84 or whatever was a code to open the box with the mirror and inside the box was another clue, and part of his lunch. This kept going on with more puzzles and clues and lunch until all the food parts were together and he could finally enjoy his lunch.
Thank you for making a funny and informative video CH, please more like this, I have a few masters degrees and I Love feeling like I just learned something from a video, Cracked does it a lot more than almost anyone, but you guys hit it sometimes. Also, Lost WTF? right?
Fun fact: Prometheus was supposed to be a direct prequel to Alien, but it was Lindelof who had the idea of turning it into a pseudo prequel/trilogy of films that's only *tied* to the Alien universe. So, if you were looking for a prequel to Alien and want to know who ruined it, look no further than Damon Lindelof.
