  • I am sharing all of our HOMESCHOOL CURRICULUM choices for the 2023-2024 school year! Having a large family I try to simplify things as much as possible. We are making some fun and exciting changes to our HOMESCHOOL this year. I am excited about the subjects we will be learning and the adjustments that we have made to our school year.
Homeschooling a large family is a lot of work but the rewards far out weigh that and I love having our family learning together everyday.

I have a 5th, 3rd and pre k and i find it overwhelming most days. Its just a lot to keep track of. If they dont get LA or math etc. We do have a co op that teaches History.
Its been taking us 4 to 5 hours each day WITH breaks. And i am fried after that lol
I have SO much respect for you!!!!

I went through 8 different math curriculums with my daughter... ended up with Horizons... loved how they always repeated concepts throughout the book.... helping them to retain what they learn... they are almost self-teaching... very easy to understand...

Math You See was our favorite math curriculum when my son reached the junior high grades and into high school. Most of the other families in our homeschool support group used to we could borrow from each other and ended up not having to order very much to go with the main books. Highly recommend this for math.

OMG this was so encouraging! I have 8 children and I'm pregnant with number 9, I'm homeschooling 5 so far and it's getting tougher and tougher the more kids that join us. But your co op sounds like it helps a ton! I will have to look into that eventually. Right now I'm balancing well but I know it will get crazier in a few more years. Thank you for sharing. I appreciate this video so much. 🥰 It really took away a lot of my fear and worries for the future. I feel like my hands are full with 5 kids in school but they're all so young right now and aren't as independent so that's why it's a lot but I know it will get easier as they get more independent. 4 out of 5 need me very hands on right now. 😅 Thankfully 2 of them are on the same level. 👌🏽

Loved this video, and seeing what you've chosen for the new school year! Quick question....why are you using CLE for your 10th and 11th graders English instead of The Good and the Beautiful? I ask because we've used both at this level, and my high schoolers seemed to really prefer TGTB, and I love learning what aspects of programs people like. Looks like you've got some really fun choices! Praying you have a great start to your new school year! ❤

Chemistry is at our co-op with a teacher. Physics and calculus we haven’t done (not a requirement to graduate in our state) we are doing algebra 2 as her senior math instead of calculus but there are curriculum or classes online that we can do if needed for those subjects.

Do you have an email I have so many questions about homeschooling even though we live in different states I still have so many questions do to my child being special needs I have thought about homeschooling him many times but my family doctor also has autistic kids and she advised to keep him in public school for now more or less for the socialisation but eventually I know I'm going to have to switch it because kids can be very very cruel and as you can imagine I want to try to protect him from people's nastiness as much as possible if I could at least have knowledge of what's out there and what my options are for later in life I would appreciate it I just want to talk to you about the homeschooling thing I'm just a single mom trying to make the best life possible for her severely autistic child❤

I’m sure there are lots of activities and groups he could do to still socialise with other kids. He would get the undivided attention if homeschooled which would help him immensely over all. ❤❤
